View 1 Repliesa couple of days ago,i began to realize that there were moving vertical lines across the screen.the lines are most visible when my light sensor(intensity) settings is set at 75%. it only came to my attention when i hard resetted my phone 2 days ago and the intensity settings was reverted to its default 75%(i've kept it customized at 25% until 2 days ago).the moving vertical lines are less visible in darker backgrounds and at a lower light intensity.i was just wondering-is this normal?
View 5 Replies View Relatedand it won't go away. the phone still works, as I am able to receive and send calls. I can press buttons and see changes on the screen, but all i get are vertical lines. Sometimes when I hit the phone a few times and press the lock button, it would go back to normal, but then it will return. Is the LCD display broken? I've opened the BB to see if it was loose, it is not. I've taken battery out and re-inserted to no avail.

I'd honestly say they resemble some kind of light burn in if I didn't know better. They are quite faint and unobtrusive but I get distracted by it. Is this normal for a LCD TFT screen?

I have LG G3 and I cracked the screen so I bought a new one from ebay, then when I got it, I've installed it perfectly but when I open it white vertical lines appear, when I double tap the screen it closes and when i open it again it works perfect for 1 second and then colors start to fade and vertical lines again appear.

I did absolutely nothing in order to have these appear. I tried to restart my phone but it only made it worse. I cant do anything but it keeps making noises when I get notifications and stuff like that still.

I ordered my Xoom from amazon.com, and exactly one day after their 30 day return period my tablet awakened showing only vertical lines. I am able to do a forced power-up (Volume up, power) but all you can see is the tablet going through the appropriately-colored start sequence, complete with the pulsating blue and purple honeycomb sequence - but with only somewhat compressed vertical lines. You can't really see where anything is on the screen, which has made it impossible to really acheive a factory reset start sequence. I've tried searching for this problem and haven't found it anywhere. I was wondering if anyone else had seen this.
Motorola suggested checking with place of purchase for return/exchange policy and/or returning the tablet to them. Mainly I'm curious if any others have experienced this and to let anyone who is know that they aren't the only one.
I love my Xoom, and after only 36hrs without it I am already missing it. Not looking forward to another couple of weeks.
These 2 screenshots are from 2 different phones when charging? Both have 2 breaks(Vertical lines)?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI have two Motorola Photon 4G phones for about a month. One of them started to show 10 vertical darker lines about 1mm wide separated by lighter bands about 4 mm wide. They are visible with the display off and on. I attach a part of a photo of the screen when the phone was off.

New Android user here and new to the LG family. Finally settled on the G4 after comparing a few different Android phones. Got the phone home, let it charge, updated the phone, and set up all my accounts and apps. However, not 10 hours into owning the phone, I've now come across a problem - the whole left side of the screen (50% of the screen in vertical) randomly will freeze, making the phone look like it has had a stroke. Sometimes the freeze lasts for a few seconds, sometimes for several minutes, before it freezes on another screen. The weird thing is that the right side of the screen still works and acts as if nothing is wrong on the left. I plan on returning the phone tomorrow, but I'm seriously concerned as to whether this will happen again if I get another G4.
View 4 Replies View RelatedMy I phone 4 has 4 purple stripes taking up the whole of the screen. This has happened before ( around 2 weeks ago ). I tried powering down and resetting. The phone had plenty of charge on each occasion that this fault appeared. When it happened previously I left it at home for a week whilst I was away on holiday and when I returned the battery had completely discharged itself. I plugged in the charger and switched the phone on and the fault disappeared so I'm hoping the same happens again.

View 1 Replies View RelatedSuddenly I have a thin white line on the left side of the screen of my Samsung Galaxy S II about 1/8 of an inch from the side. View 3 Replies View RelatedI have a Nokia Lumia 710 since April 2012. But, from today (9 September, 2012), it's camera stopped working properly. I clicked a pic and then put it in my pocket. I took it out five minutes later to take another one, and since then it's been showing a vertical line. I thought I busted the cover-glass. But it was spotless. So I did a reboot. That did not work. So I immediately checked some other applications that access the camera (like ShutterPro and Handyscan). They too showed the line. Then I reopened the camera app and I zoomed in and even the line got magnified. So I took a sample picture, and viewed it on my laptop. It is a pattern of dots. I enclose the photo with this.

It was fine before work, however after work, it looks like this.one knows a fix for this...I sent a support ticket in, but the reply I got was "Regarding your concern, we provide support for Motorola Mobile Devices only." Guess it was my fault to think My Motorola GPS was a Motorola Mobile device...

View 1 Replies View Relatedmy Blackberry screen randomly has two thin lines on its screen. It's not actually the outer screen, just the inside with the graphics. I recently noticed those lines and I just find it annoying to see.
View 2 Replies View RelatedHaving just spent hours setting up my new phone, I noticed that there are 2 lines going across the screen one near the top and one near the bottom of equal distance. I initially thought it was dust and wiped it off, however within a minute or so the lines returned. Cant believe it! I love the phone but I cant have it with these lines across the screen.
