Samsung Galaxy S II :: Mirror Of Galaxy Screen On Secondary Screen?
Aug 29, 2011
how I (in the simplest possible way) can use my pc as a secondary screen to my galaxy sII? I want my screen on the phone to be mirrored on the computor, so I can show (i.e.with a projector) my actions on the Samsung to an audience.
My screen on my galaxy s6 broke everything is still working i can still hear when i unlock the phone or when i receive a text or a phone call i just cannot see anything i tried buying a mhl cable and that did nothing i want to be able to pull out all my files from my phone before i send the phone back.
So after the update everything is appearing backwards on my screen. It's like looking at my phone in a mirror. Even my beautiful widgets clock is reading backwards...
I am trying to mirror my Samsung S5 to my Toshiba TV but the connection keeps dropping, never really connects, it turns mirroring off. Tried it on multiple TVs and the same thing happens.
So as things are perfect and smiley in the world, the way to make your day complete is to drop your brand new samsung galaxy s2 from a pathetically small height and watch as the whole screen shatters to bits. Enough to put anyone in a great mood.Fixing the screen isn't the problem though. 02 have agreed to fix it for me, for a small fee, but they have confirmed that the whole phone will be flashed before hand. This is not good. I have a lot of memories on the phone that i would like back.I have connected the phone to samsung keis, however, since the screen locked, the dam thing won't let me in to my own data. Understandably this is to ensure absolutle security to your sh** but I can't help wondering why samsung didn't install an option that allows you to unlock the phone from your computer. really need some help figuring out how I can get my sh** back. If anyone knows how to bypass the screen lock or just refresh it. Any advice would be greatly appriciated. I'm not in a great rush since my mum refuses to pay for the fix. and it'll take me a few weeks to save up.i can't unlock the phone because i can't see the screen and i think the touch pad is bust as well.
Right i know you can move the home screens around by pinching but you cant do the same for the app screens, basically when i got my phone everything im downloading and want to use is on the apps screen on page 4, well id like to put everything i use on page 4 onto page one, can i do this? And also how can i put icons that are in the apps screen onto my homescreen?
My Galaxy S II has the annoying habit of having its screen go into idle or sleep mode and then blacken when I'm on a call. I want to have the "Phone" screen showing up at all times when I'm on a call, so I can access the speakerphone, etc. Is there a way to "lock" the screen in "Phone" mode when I'm on a call?
When it is sat in standby and i recieve a text, the screen lights up as usual for a few seconds then dims to turn off again but doesnt turn off, causing my screen to stay on and the phone to run flat in under 4 hours. If I try to use the lock button when this is happening the phone will freeze.
I have also updated to the latest version to try and stop this but it didnt help.
Hi,where my SGS2 isn't always registering my touch. It might take 2-3 presses to start up an application. I have searched and there seems to be some general touch issues but I can't tell if this is something that can be fixed by software or not? For example, running MultiTouch Tester, I can touch the screen really fast 10 different places (this is important I think), and the phone will only detect 7/10 presses on avg. I don't recall having so many touch problems before ICS?
I have a new Galaxy S2 that I am totally delighted with (apart from the rather poor wifi signal reception, but that's not really a problem for me).I've noticed a strange thing though (and I don't know if this matters at all because everything still seems to work). When I connect my Galaxy up to my PC, it used to look something like this:(This is not my image, but it's the best I could find.) Basically, it used to say connected and show a picture of a USB connector. Now, for some strange reason, my S2 does not do that. When I connect up with USB, I still see the normal home screen and can navigate around as normal, at the same time as using Kies or accessing the S2 from my PC.Does anyone know why this is? Do other people's S2's behave like this, or do you all still see the USB image on screen?
I left my phone on my desk for 5 minutes and when i got my it wouldnt turn on, theres no light or anything, ive tried the factory reset with no response and ive tried plugging it in and still no response. is there anything i can do to fix it?
I forgot my password on my phone yesterday, so today, after reading many articles and trying to find out how to get around it, I decided to reset my Samsung s5 to factory settings. In the middle of the setting up process, I was redirected to a separate page asking me to log in to the previous account I had before I abnormally reset the phone. Since I never made one, I am now stuck on that screen. Is there a way for me to bypass it or reset my phone so that I do not have to go through the Samsung account log in?
I got an s5 a little while back and just recently learned about screen mirroring and wanted to try it so I bought a new Windows display adapter and can't get it to work, my wife had an s4 and it works perfectly with her phone. Then I tried screen mirroring to my cousins phone and couldn't get that to work either, he has an s5 as well. What am I doing wrong?! I've tried everything I know to try and it's like my phone just isn't capable or something....!
I am getting the most ridiculous battery life of any phone ever, I can't work out if that's because I have some dodgy app on there which insists on checking my Twitter every 60 seconds (The culprit on my old HTC Hero) or if I can't put this gorgeous piece of technology down. When I do get on with my actual work however, the shining slab of powerful bliss sitting between my keyboard and PC screen, I notice the screen wakes up every so often for no reason what so ever.
I know it uses up battery time, but is it possible to over-ride the screen time-out? The longest time option on the menu seems to be 10 minutes, but eg when using GPS in the car - especially when the car charger is attached - over-ride this 10 minute limit.
So two weeks ago I decided I want to upgrade my SII. I connected with Kies and I started with upgrade. Everything went fine until I restarted my phone. Ever since then my screen completely randomly turns itself on, like I pressed any button. It's really annoying and I don't know how to fix this. I even removed most of my applications I downloaded from Market Play.
For those users who've upgraded from the S2 to the S3 have you found that the screen is still as bright, vivid and readable in full sun compared to the S2
i've galaxy s2 baught it a week ago, it's my first time connecting it to my pc via micro usb. i see the storage drive in the computer opens up i can explore copy & paste, the handset charges normaly, but the touch screen stops responding. everything just freezes, just for once internet explorer opened after a long time which seems like a late response of my pressing on touchscreen however the menu and back button work well but can't press or click on anything.. i know this isn't normal.
