I am trying to mirror my Samsung S5 to my Toshiba TV but the connection keeps dropping, never really connects, it turns mirroring off. Tried it on multiple TVs and the same thing happens.

I got an s5 a little while back and just recently learned about screen mirroring and wanted to try it so I bought a new Windows display adapter and can't get it to work, my wife had an s4 and it works perfectly with her phone. Then I tried screen mirroring to my cousins phone and couldn't get that to work either, he has an s5 as well. What am I doing wrong?! I've tried everything I know to try and it's like my phone just isn't capable or something....!
View 2 Replies View RelatedFor some strange reason my phone wont charge it off and when it is off it flashes on and off with the lightning and battery size to charge meaning it takes forever to charge. 5 hours of charge off and its only on 50% and then the battery dies within 2 hours when switched back on. Super annoying. Is it the phone or just need of a new battery.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI was just playing a game, the phone got hot and turned off. I let it cool, it wouldn't turn on again. I noticed the blue light in the upper left stayed on and the phone was pulsing/vibrating a bit. I have been charging the phone for the last hour thinking that might be the issue. No. The blue light is still on. I tried removing the battery and SD card for 10 seconds before retrying to boot my phone. Nothing abut blue light and some pulses from time to time.

BTW: Extra credit for an app that will only send the notifications to my desktop if I'm home (or even better, within BT range of my desk). Don't need txt notification popping-up if I'm traveling!

View 2 Replies View RelatedKies 3 always crashes with an "Unknown Error" when trying to sync my Outlook 2007 calendar. Contacts and Tasks sync okay.
I've literally spent hours on the phone with Samsung (lack of) technical support with no resolution. They are in fact blaming Outlook claiming that this "Unknown Error" is an Outlook error and not a Kies 3 error (I doubt that). Their other suggestion is a factory reset on the phone which I don't want to do or to try another PC.
Using Windows 7 Pro, latest updates to Kies 3 and latest firmware updated today on the phone.
Just wondering if anyone can shed some light on this as even the mighty Google didn't offer a great deal.
A lot of people post about the 'Battery fully charged' notification being a pain but, I turn my phone off every night when charging but even then it vibrates when the charge is complete.
If there any way to disable this feature without rooting the handset?

View 1 Replies View RelatedOn 28. 12. 2011. I received a firmware update for my SGSII. After that when I turn on bluetooth my phone begins restarting and battery is drained in 20 minutes. Phone becomes very hot and it is very complicated to turn off bluetooth because it keeps restarting and screen is mainly frozen when it appears. I tried put out the battery, but when I turn on the device, bluetooth is on and everything happening again. Everything is ok when I manage to turn off bluetooth.

*My phone is not rooted.
*I have not messed with any modifications.
*My phone's automatic update is turned off. (I haven't update since 4.42.)
*I've already erased the cache in recovery mode.
*I don't have a back-up.
My phone had died because the battery life ran out. I charged it fully and unplugged it. I kept it off for a little while, and when I turned it on it booted normally to the start-up screen, blinked off and restarted back to the screen; it remained stuck there. I can power off and enter recovery mode, but I can't power off. The charge logo appears when I plug it up, but it stays there with an empty power logo even after I unplug it. I have to always take out the battery to turn it off. What did I do wrong, and I can I fix it without having to wipe out documents? (I have a lot of writing documents).

It prompts me to use connect to iTunes . I have done all iTunes updates but it says it cannot be restored due to error 14.
It restored correctly once this weekend and functioned for all of an hour before it died.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a galaxy s5 and a few days ago while i was charging my phone i started to hear a sizzling sound like something burning and i realized it was the USB in the charging port. i top it out immediately and it still charges but it only charges when it's turned off and when it's on it shows the little lighting strike on it but it's not really charging when plugged in(FYI it does not still have the charging symbol when not plugged in). Do I replace the battery or the phone. or is there nothing i can do?

I've tried everything , reseting/erasing , flashing firmware with odin , flashing and updating firmware with KIES . It still same , restarts before or on activation screen and can't past it .
It's turned on only for minute or less and then restarts , bu when it's in download mode I can flash firmware without any restarts or so... (more then hour) ....

View 1 Replies View RelatedIt's a Samsung Galaxy S5 from AT&T.I've been having a problem screen mirroring. I can connect pretty easily but almost every time I do I see a lot of pixelating. Like, if I open up the Facebook app and screen mirror, it pixelates a lot. I can definitely see this with pictures. And videos are definitely unviewable for me.
How can I fix this? Is there a setting I should adjust on my TV, Roku 3, or Android that needs to be changed?
So I tried to mirror Galaxy S6 to Samsung ue48h6400 and I got this error in my phone "Unable to connect to screen mirroring due to hardware issue".
Is there any fix for this? I heard this is due to rooting. Maybe there's some third-party app that is able to mirror my device to TV? I'm sure unrooting would fix it, but I don't want to do it.
