Jun 2, 2015I used my phone at 2pm today and when I left it it had good battery life left. Two hours later when I checked it there was no life at all and I cant get it to switch on. I've tried charging, taking the battery and sim card out but nothing. theres no lights of sound or anything - no life at all !!!!

Dec 11, 2014I was just playing a game, the phone got hot and turned off. I let it cool, it wouldn't turn on again. I noticed the blue light in the upper left stayed on and the phone was pulsing/vibrating a bit. I have been charging the phone for the last hour thinking that might be the issue. No. The blue light is still on. I tried removing the battery and SD card for 10 seconds before retrying to boot my phone. Nothing abut blue light and some pulses from time to time.

Galaxy S5 :: Phone Not Charging While Turned On?
Mar 29, 2015I have a galaxy s5 and a few days ago while i was charging my phone i started to hear a sizzling sound like something burning and i realized it was the USB in the charging port. i top it out immediately and it still charges but it only charges when it's turned off and when it's on it shows the little lighting strike on it but it's not really charging when plugged in(FYI it does not still have the charging symbol when not plugged in). Do I replace the battery or the phone. or is there nothing i can do?

Dec 17, 2015For some strange reason my phone wont charge it off and when it is off it flashes on and off with the lightning and battery size to charge meaning it takes forever to charge. 5 hours of charge off and its only on 50% and then the battery dies within 2 hours when switched back on. Super annoying. Is it the phone or just need of a new battery.

Jan 24, 2016I have SM-920V, verizon branded galaxy s6 . my problem is , when i turn on phone , it restarts itself... I've tried everything , reseting/erasing , flashing firmware with odin , flashing and updating firmware with KIES . It still same , restarts before or on activation screen and can't past it .
It's turned on only for minute or less and then restarts , bu when it's in download mode I can flash firmware without any restarts or so... (more then hour) ....

Nov 25, 2015I bought my S6 about 3 weeks ago. I was using it normally, but then I left it and when I came back it wouldn't turn on unless I pressed the volume down key too. After that it kept turning off after 15-30 minutes I turned it on, everytime, and then it simply wouldn't turn on whatever i did, even if a pressed all 4 buttons for 10 seconds. Then I simply pressed the power button and it turned on. It behaved normally for that whole day.
I went to sleep with 45% battery and it died. Again it wouldn't turn on unmattering what i did, and after like 5 hours i pressed the volume down and power again and it turned on (after many tries), wtih 27% battery - and it was always off, but after like 2 minutes it died again, and only turned on, after many tries, when I presed vlm dwn, power and home together, giving me the restart screen with 7% charge. (not that dos/cmd-like, with hard reset and all, only a custom os and restart). it worked normally (draining battery fast), and then shut down again, even if i was charging it, though the whatsapp green led is flashing, so i think it's not completely off.

Jan 11, 2015my phone other than recently the battery life has been pretty bad all of a sudden (I think it's my charger) , anyways I was outside taking a picture on my phone and as soon as it took the picture the screen went black and it was completely unresponsive, tried turning it on, reset, nothing worked. I took the battery out and back in and It turned on, BUT then my time and date was completely wrong and for some reason since the time and date was wrong it made my internet not work.

I thought nothing of it as it has done this loads before so i took the battery out and put it back in and it worked. I then went to get a drink and when i returned my phone was off. Jun 22, 2012I was using my iPhone 4 today when I went to the kicthen to get somthing to drink and upon returning to my phone I noticed the screen wouldn't turn on. Now the battery wasn't dead because it had a 80% charge left so it has to be either a OS failure or a hardware failure and when I switched the ringer button back and forth it wouldnt viberate. I tried conecting it to iTunes to do a reset but I can't because the power button is broken (which happened suddenly months ago but didn't fix it, which I regret now) so now I'm stuck with a faulty iPhone and I can't do anything to fix it. I don't have apple care for it either, which I also regret.
