I noticed there's wavy lines across the camera viewfinder upon starting the camera app. but they only appear for one or two seconds tops (when the camera does its first autofocus) and then disappears. Am I just being paranoid?

View 5 Replies View RelatedAbout 5 times now, when I double tap the home button to open the camera, the phone vibrates and the viewfinder "distorts". By distorts, the best way I can describe it, is think of the surface of a lake and a slight breeze creating tiny waves. This lasts for about 3 to 8 seconds and then all is fine. Or, if I don't want to wait, I can go home and come back to the camera. Also there seems to be a slight audio tone like a "hmmmmmm" but I can't tell if it's actual audio out of the speaker or from the material of the phone because of the vibrating. It has only happened about 5 times, this just started 3 days ago and it seems to be happening more frequently.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI've been using the Google camera app on my phone which I love so far, the one thing I've noticed is that the shutter button taste of a third of the screen and its not see through either. Is there anyway to change this interface like the Motorola camera app where you can take pictures through it through the viewfinder? Honesty love the shutter speed of the Google camera app vs the stock camera app on the phone though.
View 9 Replies View RelatedI've recently purchased a Huwaei Nexus 6P. It's fantastic in every way including the camera... That is of course, when I can get the app to work. I use the camera to take pictures and occasionally video about 5% of the time. The app just hangs on the screen just before the viewfinder appears, and the only way to get the camera working again is to reboot the phone! It's incredibly frustrating, because everything about this phone is flawless!

But I don't know I am unable to use camera since 2 days, Blue, black, white, red lines are coming infront of it. When I start cam it happens automatically. It becomes better when I set camera of x2 to some light etc., but still unable to see from the camera. No night mode etc., even used in day time.

My front camera keeps taking pictures with 2 lines in the corner. You can see it when the camera is on, and it shows up in every single picture. I've cleaned the front camera, checked for scratches/cracks but can't see anything.

I have convinced myself that I have done something to make this happen and that it wasn't like that at first. So my question is, can these be removed in some setting somewhere is this how it actually is all the time?
Often - but not always - when I use the camera on my E71 I get a series of hovering colored lines over the picture which are visible on the finished photo.

It also comes when I take the picture. It only happens for the first 2-3 minutes and then it disappears and picture is clear. Tried using other apps for camera, but the problem still remains. It has three thin black vertical lines down the left of the screen if i view as a portrait or along the bottom if viewed as landscape. The lines are always on the screen when the camera display is active and in any pic or video I would take.
View 2 Replies View RelatedUnfortunately, one of the first things i noticed upon unpacking it is that the screen has some strange gold colored lines in the upper part of the screen.The lines are most visible when bright light is shone onto the screen e.g. a flashlight, lamp or out in the sun. They are most visible on dark colors or when the screen is turned off.It looks as though the lines could be some sort of seem lines between two display pieces that are joined or bonded together. Does Samsung patch the screens together from multiple pieces?I am not really happy about these particular lines that are present in the screen.

If I turn it off/on then they sometimes disappear completely and sometimes worse than before I turned it off. Following other posts on the net, tried turning my brightness up and if I turn it up all the way the lines never appear. The only problem is that I can't use the phone at this level of brightness. would be grateful if someone could post a fix. I kinda remember reading about screen tests you can do on the phone itself but can't find it again. Maybe if I could re-calibrate the screen that would fix it?
View 6 Replies View RelatedI recently bought a Samsung Galaxy S5 (sm-g900f). Sometimes the screen just freeze, and grey lines appears (as in this picture goo.gl/qIdGg7 ).
The main button and the power still working, as I can see the white light turning on and off as usual after pressing them.
And after click the power button once (which turn off the display), the screen remains black.
The phone is actually still working, as I can ear it ringing or receiving messages and email.
But I cant do anything, just take off the battery and restart it. I already reset it and the problem keeps happen again.
I just bought this phone a few days ago. I am very excited and start playing with the camera. after a few shots and a few mode change, the phone freeze and restart. then i open the camera app again it shows only black screen and a camera failed message
i tried using other camera app but it's no use. the phone has no warranty in my country so i could not have a replacement.
been to the samsung service center also but still no luck.
When I leave the camera app, my phone is apparently accessing my camera and taking a picture. The photo isn't saved in the gallery, but then I go into the task manager, I see a photo of wherever I was when I left the camera app. Is there a way to disable this?
