Suddenly, neither my camera nor videocamera work, it seems a problem with the viewfinder. When trying to use the videocamera a message says: "Another application is using the camera. We cannot start the camera's viewfinder". I really don't know what to do.
View 1 RepliesI noticed there's wavy lines across the camera viewfinder upon starting the camera app. but they only appear for one or two seconds tops (when the camera does its first autofocus) and then disappears. Am I just being paranoid?
View 4 Replies View RelatedI've been using the Google camera app on my phone which I love so far, the one thing I've noticed is that the shutter button taste of a third of the screen and its not see through either. Is there anyway to change this interface like the Motorola camera app where you can take pictures through it through the viewfinder? Honesty love the shutter speed of the Google camera app vs the stock camera app on the phone though.
View 9 Replies View RelatedAbout 5 times now, when I double tap the home button to open the camera, the phone vibrates and the viewfinder "distorts". By distorts, the best way I can describe it, is think of the surface of a lake and a slight breeze creating tiny waves. This lasts for about 3 to 8 seconds and then all is fine. Or, if I don't want to wait, I can go home and come back to the camera. Also there seems to be a slight audio tone like a "hmmmmmm" but I can't tell if it's actual audio out of the speaker or from the material of the phone because of the vibrating. It has only happened about 5 times, this just started 3 days ago and it seems to be happening more frequently.
View 13 Replies View RelatedI've recently purchased a Huwaei Nexus 6P. It's fantastic in every way including the camera... That is of course, when I can get the app to work. I use the camera to take pictures and occasionally video about 5% of the time. The app just hangs on the screen just before the viewfinder appears, and the only way to get the camera working again is to reboot the phone! It's incredibly frustrating, because everything about this phone is flawless!

The camera doesn't work. I open the camera application with both methods (button on side and icon in apps) but it does the red dot thing in the corner for about 4-6 seconds then disappears and applications tells me the app is running. I try to go to the app but it wont go on it.
Problem 2:
The green key, dialler and contacts icon on the home screen do not work at all. I have no way of opening my dialler as there is no option for it.
I updated my firmware to v40.0.005 last week. Please be aware the problems were both there BEFORE i made the update and are still here after the update.Is there any way of doing this without soft/hard resetting. Also, does soft/hard reset mean you lose the data in an app (eg your high scores in a game like bagatelle)?

I tried to use it through the original Camera app and I didn't even have the option of the "selfie" or front camera. Battery pull doesn't help.The camera stopped working before the OS upgrade, and still doesn't work even after that. When I try to open it, I see the controls at the bottom of the screen for a while, it sits for a few minutes, then I get an error message "Could not start the camera. I know this isn't the first time someone start a discussion to talk about this problem, but I still couldn't find a solution in the others discussions. Since I updated my Sony Ericson Neo V MT11a to the new android 4.0 through PC Companion, I'm not able to switch to use front camera or use the face unlock. It just seems that there's no front camera on my phone. I've already tried Software Repair twice and nothing. I'm not the only one with the problem as I could see on my surfing.

I had a virus in my PC a few days ago, actually a Trijan, which Symantec was able to remove without requiring my Laptop to be formatted.But after that Camera stopped working, neither from hardware button, nor from applications. I reinstalled the firmware 30.xx and it started working again.
Now again Camera has stopped working, and also i have noticed, that when i click the arrow to go to next message, it goes to some months old messages randomly.DO i need some sort of formatting ? Will only hard reset work ? Is it some sort of virus on my cell?
So I got my nokia lumia 920 yesterday and it was working fine, however after a few hours my camera just died, I can't launch it with the button or the camera app and none of the other apps like the panorama works either. I'm really disappointed because I really liked the lumia 920.

Also the read line (when your recording a video) looks like you have- it is all the way full to the right... ? It has happened on my last Bold, but I can't remember how I fixed it.
