Xperia Z3 :: Front Camera Keeps Taking Pictures With 2 Lines In The Corner
Jun 6, 2015My front camera keeps taking pictures with 2 lines in the corner. You can see it when the camera is on, and it shows up in every single picture. I've cleaned the front camera, checked for scratches/cracks but can't see anything.

Feb 4, 2011Newbie here with a brand spanking new Xperia 8.This may seem petty, but on the camera viewing screen there are two black lines down either side, similar to a widescreen TV broadcasting a show that is in a non-widescreen normal format.
I have convinced myself that I have done something to make this happen and that it wasn't like that at first. So my question is, can these be removed in some setting somewhere is this how it actually is all the time?

Mar 23, 2012My photos and some videos have colored lines through them. Sometimes I only get half the photo. I have pulled the battery and reset the device many many times but nothing changes. I have attached an example photo.

Oct 11, 2014i got the device in my hands yesterday.. the camera was awesome but then the photos were taken blurry like out of focus or something. Then i updated my software with the latest update of Sony and the camera was fixed. Now after a few hours of the update the camera is blurry again.

Apr 11, 2013After changing from sony xperia M5 to sony xperia Z5 i can see big difference in photo especially in indoor and low light photo. Xperia z5 photo are very noisy and no detail when zooming , my old z3 better than z5 and new high midrange m5 better also.
How can beat other new flagahip phone like s6 and note 5 and lg g4 in less detail and noisy pictures.
Also we have a big problem in sony at 20-23 mp in manual mode . No iso settings and no scene can be changed. Sony now have to advertise to sell z5 but the surprise in this camera and bad software.
No iso in 23 mp and 20mp it is a big problem now. We don't need sceen changing in high mp but iso in manual is very necessary.

Sep 19, 2011I bought X2-01 Almost in less then a month. I liked it and using it well no problem. But I don't know I am unable to use camera since 2 days, Blue, black, white, red lines are coming infront of it. When I start cam it happens automatically. It becomes better when I set camera of x2 to some light etc., but still unable to see from the camera. No night mode etc., even used in day time.

Jul 3, 2010I have noticed in low-light photos, in both Superior Auto and Manual mode that there is a blue tint on the edges of low light photos, especially more on the left side. The only way I've noticed I can really mitigate it is if I lower the ISO on manual mode, but then the photos would end up being too dark.

I have seen this issue discussed on other forums; some say it is a hardware issue, some software, and others say a camera module replacement may fix it. But I don't think Sony has officially ever acknowledged this issue, even though it is definitely present.

I factory reset the phone and the camera worked for one day. it then stopped taking photos - when you take a pic, it shows the little orange circle going round and round , but then doesn't store the photo. Yesterday I cleared the cache and this appeared to make it work. The camera now takes photos, but I cannot message or bluetooth them - just says could not add item. I tried to transfer them to my computer , via usb and they all show as broken files , but with the .jpg extension , so not the lost.dir problem. Any better camera to download thru playstore that works well ...

Well, as a customer service person, this is very poor. I was actually told I could get it from another country and ask someone there to buy it then send it to me. At this point I was hoping Nokia would say, we would try to get you to buy one from another country such as France?
Ok, the logic is this, you have a phone in different coulours, you advertise it as such. Why then you dare decide which colour is not appropriate to a particular country?
This brings back memories of the days when cars in black were not allowed because they are synonimous with 'black people' who were considered not human.

I have them all backed up to Google Photos and don't need them also on my phone.
