I've had my xperia mini pro now for a few weeks and recently when I go to look back at my photos in the gallery a good number of them display a little grey square with a jagged line through it and since a few days ago about 20 of my photos have been corrupt. What I could do to avoid this happening in the future? This phone takes good photos but why they keep disappearing.
View 6 RepliesAfter taking my son on his first cub scout camporee this weekend. I took tons of pictures and once we got home and started to show most of them are corrupt. I DID have the camera app set to save pics to the internal memory. Some how while playing with the settings it was changed to save to the micro SD card. All photos that are saved to the SD card seem to get corrupted. They have a normal file size but I noticed that all of the corrupt files have a resolution of -1 x -1. Pics that aren't corrupt have a resolution of 5312 x 2988.

When I view photos with the Photos app (google plus photos app), zooming in does not reveal any additional detail and the photo looks very blurry. When I use the built in Gallery app, however, I can zoom in and see very crisp detail in the image. I know it isn't an issue with the image itself, because I can view it fine in the Gallery app. Even in the Photos app, if I view the details of the image, it shows the full resolution of the image, but when I zoom in the photo is very blurry.

After the transfer was finished, I noticed that images were not showing in album or photo gallery.I open the SD card files in my computer (PC companion) but the images are nowhere to be found. Its good that we have an amazing photo captured from our xperia, but the thing is, No matter how good the xperia camera is, if those photo would just be corrupted after transfer, then, no sense at all.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have a photo in my camera roll on my phone that I believe is corrupted. I received it through the "Bump" app. After receiving the photo and adding it to my camera roll, when I go into that specific conversation in "Bump" the app crashes.
When I open my camera to take a photo, it shows everything fine, snaps a photo, and then crashes without saving. When I open my photos, I can go into every album except my camera roll, when I click on my camera roll it crashes.
I have Windows Vista and I can copy all the photos using the windows import photos, and when I click the "delete all after import" button, it will start to delete them, until it gets to that photo than stops.. And does not delete any photos out of my camera roll.
So I need a way to delete ALL of the photos out of my camera roll, without doing it manually, as that is clearly not a possibility. And a way to do it using Windows Vista.

Kind of like it does in an older SE w810 or something? Its like light green numbers in the right bottom corner that sticks to the photo right away. View 5 Replies View RelatedI have 8 applications on my Nokia N97 Mini that I cannot delete.When I click on them the file just flashes, and when i try to delete them the phone says it cant as they are a "corrupted file".I tried, soft reset, hard reset (factory reset) and it doesn't help, the files are still there!All I can do with them is move them around different folders.Also when using application manager it doesn't find them, so I cant even delete using that!Please can someone help?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI got the X10 mini about 9 months ago, and upgraded the OS to Android 2.1 as soon as the upgrade was made available. Since the upgrade, I have been unable to view photos properly using the new and improved Facebook app that was installed as part of the upgrade.When I'm using Facebook, it will display thumbnails correctly for each photo, but when I click on the thumbnail to see the photo properly, it will display a pixelated fullscreen version of the photo for about 2-5 seconds which then disappears, leaving me with a 'broken image' symbol and a loading swirl which just stay there indefinitely. Strangely, if my phone goes into sleep mode, when I unlock the screen the pixellated version of the photo is showing again, but will again disappear after a few seconds.

But if I close the camera and try to view the pictures I have just taken in the Album all I can see is the Album symbol (two mountains?) with a zig-zag line through it and no picture. View 1 Replies View RelatedAfter changing from sony xperia M5 to sony xperia Z5 i can see big difference in photo especially in indoor and low light photo. Xperia z5 photo are very noisy and no detail when zooming , my old z3 better than z5 and new high midrange m5 better also.
How can beat other new flagahip phone like s6 and note 5 and lg g4 in less detail and noisy pictures.
Also we have a big problem in sony at 20-23 mp in manual mode . No iso settings and no scene can be changed. Sony now have to advertise to sell z5 but the surprise in this camera and bad software.
No iso in 23 mp and 20mp it is a big problem now. We don't need sceen changing in high mp but iso in manual is very necessary.
I am getting brown lines when take photos....
