After updating my phone to ICS, the photos which I am adding in the image folder is missing in the Xperia Gallery.I unable to view it. But when I check with task manager it is available.Can anybody expain wats the problem is and how could I update it?

How can I recover back all of my files or undo the restore and make it back to the phone just like before I did my restoration.

View 2 Replies View RelatedLast week I noticed that all my photos and videos have are missing from gallery and i thought I might have deleted them accidentally, but discovered tht after taking a picture they go missing withing a short time, A carefull search with OVI suite and my PC revealed tht all the videos and photos are still in the E;mass memory but for some reason I cant access them from my phone.
I also noticed tht there seem to be a problem with the E:mass memory when I access it through file manager. I cannot access any of my folders saved in the E: memory.
I have copied a load of songs and pictures from Windows to my E6 microSD card.The songs are working nicely, no problem there (= SD card working properly).The photos don't appear in the gallery/photo browser. When I reboot, the phone claims it is scanning for new media, but the photos don't show up.
View 5 Replies View RelatedAfter updating to Android 4.0.4 on my Xperia Ray, I miss the (now missing) delete button, in the top bar (in portrait mode) of the image Gallery app. It was nice to have when I went through my photos. I know that I can find this delete function in the options menu, but it's still an extra step. In Danish, the detete function in the options menu, is incorrectly translated, it says now 'Faldende' and the correct is 'Slet'.Can I / we get delete button back?

View 2 Replies View RelatedIm using an Xperia mini pro which I bought a month ago. It's been woking fine till yesterday. From today morning I cant see anything in the gallary. Its just blank with a blured background. It shows "loading files and albums" then nothing happens. It has an SD card (sandisk 4GB). I checked by connecting to laptop. The files are intact. The music player works fine and it plays music from the SD card. But nothing shows up in the gallery. Tried clearing gallery cache and data from application manager. Restarted the phone several times but no hope. All the files can be seen when the phone is connected to the laptop.

In the past few days however, i dont know what i did wrong, but i suddenly could not see my facebook pictures from my mini pro's gallery. I synced a number of times but i only see the "new from friends" album but not my own gallery. Ive turned autosync on and off, restarted a number of times, signed out my account and signed in again, but nothing seems to help. there is no problem with my wifi by the way.
View 9 Replies View RelatedI just noticed now when attemping to message someone a picture that pictures I save offline aren't saving. It pops up saying that the picture has been downloaded and saved but then I go into my album and it's not there.

It came about because when I sent someone a picture, it showed on my end as the one I wanted to send, but they got something else, so I opened the picture to full screen and saw what they saw and it wasn't the picture I had sent them. So I went into the Album and boom, it wasn't there... but in messenger, it had it there for me to choose and send.

Also, there was another picture I saved and sent and what I saw, they saw, but again, going into the album, it wasn't there. And it wasn't even in the history of pictures saved... I don't know how this is possible?!
I want to disable notifications from the calendar app - but the context menu is missing - nothing happens when I pust the menu button. A second symptom is that when the notifications appear, there are no buttons to snooze or dismiss.
The background is taht I have upgraded to android 2.1 and installed a few different calendar apps to get a better widget. I ended up with Gemini and uninstalled the other apps and widgets again. Which ones I tried and when the problem appeared I do not know. So if the problem was present after the upgrade or later...?

But after I upgraded to version 4.0 I bought the license. There is only a small problem now, there is no menu now to select "My Maps" and download. Tried to contact support but they don't seem to understand the problem. They keep telling my to navigate to the download menu.

I recently updated my xperia mini pro to android 2.3.4. The new features like video on Gtalk, 3D panaromic camera, swype, etc. are welcome changes.But what disappoints me is that one essential thing is still missing, a smart dialer. Yes, I can pick one from the market, lots available for free, but none will blend in with the default theme of the phone. So SE please think on providing this.Another thing is the missing animations. SE stands out for style but again two really nice animations are removed. One is the CRT like animation you get when the screen is turned off on hitting the power button. Second one is when you open the SMS app.

I decide to update to ICS but since the update doesn't show up in PC companion or Update Service or OTA, I get flashtool and the stock .431 ftf and flash my mini pro (SI 1249-0751) to ICS (and also plug in a fresh new 32GB microSDHC card to celebrate). A bit laggy, crashes of the contact viewer when searching throught the dialpad, but that's okay, I can use a different launcher (Zeam) and dialer app (Dialer One).But when I open the camera app and try to take a picture with the front camera ...... there's no option. It's gone.
Another camera app, no front camera.Skype recognises only the rear camera. No front camera.I open the service menu (*#*#SERVICE#*#* i.e *#*#7378423#*#*) and test the secondary camera, and it says "This device does not support the function". The primary works fine. All other supported features work fine. Light sensor (next to the front cam) responds too. (But the Proximity switch doesn't. Not sure if it should. Perhaps that could hint at a hardware problem with the connections from the bottom half to the top slider part.)
I scout the forums and find that there's some some strange relationship between the SD card and the front camera for the Ray (or some other device) . With the old SD card, still no luck.I downgrade to GB. Still not working. Front cam missing.I unlock the bootloader and install a custom rom (CyanogenMod 9.0.0 Stable mango).Still not working. Kind of like it does in an older SE w810 or something? Its like light green numbers in the right bottom corner that sticks to the photo right away. However, I can find them in a file manager app. My downloads, screenshots, and Camera folder on the device are all there, just not in the Gallery. When I take a photo now, it creates a new folder in the Gallery. However, the photo that I taken when navigated to it in file manager, is in the same folder as the missing photos? I've cleared the cache and data. Restarted the phone multiple times.
