Okay, I just updated my mini pro to 2.3.4 and, I sort of have a problem. In 2.3.3 I used to see all my facebook albums in the stock gallery application. But since I've updated the software, I can only see one facebook album i.e 'New from friends' in gallery. Any way by which I can sort this out and get all my facebook albums in gallery?
View 9 RepliesI have an xperia mini pro (sk17i) and had no problems before regarding my gallery. In the past few days however, i dont know what i did wrong, but i suddenly could not see my facebook pictures from my mini pro's gallery. I synced a number of times but i only see the "new from friends" album but not my own gallery. Ive turned autosync on and off, restarted a number of times, signed out my account and signed in again, but nothing seems to help. there is no problem with my wifi by the way.
View 9 Replies View RelatedI have x10 mini.The latest facebook app, 1.8.1 or whatever, I just cant get it to work properly, Often, or almost everytime, just says "loading" on an almost empty page.But the page does not load most of the times, and when it does, pics etc are missing. Just works very slow.
I have even re-installed my phone just now, but its still the same.The funny thing is that when this last facebook update was released a month ago? or so, it worked very fast and nice.Now for the past 2 weeks its almost unusable. Both on mobile internet and trough WiFi. How can this be?I have a decent internet on the phone and other webpages loads normaly.
I have a question plz: is there a facebook-gallery integration in this new update?! like the media one?!

View 2 Replies View RelatedIm using an Xperia mini pro which I bought a month ago. It's been woking fine till yesterday. From today morning I cant see anything in the gallary. Its just blank with a blured background. It shows "loading files and albums" then nothing happens. It has an SD card (sandisk 4GB). I checked by connecting to laptop. The files are intact. The music player works fine and it plays music from the SD card. But nothing shows up in the gallery. Tried clearing gallery cache and data from application manager. Restarted the phone several times but no hope. All the files can be seen when the phone is connected to the laptop.

This happened for certain pictures that i took. I've tried to review it in my laptop but still can't. I've checked the pictures details and noted that it were around 600kb and 1MB which meant the pictures are there but I can't view it.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI got the X10 mini about 9 months ago, and upgraded the OS to Android 2.1 as soon as the upgrade was made available. Since the upgrade, I have been unable to view photos properly using the new and improved Facebook app that was installed as part of the upgrade.When I'm using Facebook, it will display thumbnails correctly for each photo, but when I click on the thumbnail to see the photo properly, it will display a pixelated fullscreen version of the photo for about 2-5 seconds which then disappears, leaving me with a 'broken image' symbol and a loading swirl which just stay there indefinitely. Strangely, if my phone goes into sleep mode, when I unlock the screen the pixellated version of the photo is showing again, but will again disappear after a few seconds.

View 3 Replies View Relatedmy phone came with a lot of unwanted junk installed on it. The Facebook app is one of them. I can check Facebook on my browser when I want to. I don't want it to connect all the time. To my amazement I can't control the app at all. Even with everything turned off it uses about 100MB in the background a week, escpecially since the last update of the app! It starts up automatically every so many minutes. My datalimit is 400MB a month. This way the software pushed by Sony is creating large phonebills. That can't be right! The only way to remove that stuff is to root my phone, that's ridicilous! To pre-install software...ok...but I should be able to control what to do with that software, remove it, disable it and stop it from using up my data! I've informed some consumer agencies about this so I'll see what they have to say. This doesn't seem legal to me since I wasn't informed that I can't remove the apps and that they use data without your permission.

browser works on 3g and wifi i've a x10 mini pro on vodafone if that has any effect.when i click to update timescape nothing changes i've updated new version of fb app and restarted phone to no avail
the facebook app is not playing any of the videos , which it was able to play a few days before. the videos linked with Internet play with the Internet app, but other videos with flash support dont play and request to open with the browser.

My new gripe is that since upgrading, I now can't edit my profile, or add friends.....when I go to add a friend, I get the following error message: "Cannot fetch the user data at this time. Please try again later. [Unexpected end of json input]". Oh, and it doesn't let me "try again later", as I just get the same message.

Since I use Facebook App for Android on my Xperia Pro for posting status message, I never see that Xperia Brand appears on status message indicator on the bottom of the status, e.g. 1 minute ago via Xperia. Whereas, other Xperia smartphones such as Arc, Mini Pro, etc, no problem was found (the brand appears).

Mostly the small pictures Avatars beside comments and such, doesnt show anymore. The small pictures are just blank often and they dont appear even if page is reloaded. Sometimes a few are loaded but many are missing, and often none of them loads. Not even my own. Doesnt matter if I use WiFi or mobile conecction
It used to work before but not since last one or two facbook app updates. Tried to delete the cahce files of the app but didnt help. If I uninstall updates will it not set it back to the very first version of the app? Thats not so good.
Since the small update my facebook pictures are not attached to my contacts like they used to be before. Not changed any settings.
