the facebook app is not playing any of the videos , which it was able to play a few days before. the videos linked with Internet play with the Internet app, but other videos with flash support dont play and request to open with the browser.

When I am trying to play any mp4 videos in a default player, appears a error "Can not play video." I tried to intall other players from market, but nothing, same problem. Also, its not a problem with video files, because I asked my friend to try playing the same mp4 videos which my X10 Mini can't play and he had no problems with them... All videos played correctly in a default player.
Also I tried to reinstall OS, but problem still exists.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI successfully upgraded to Android 2.1 on my Xperia x10 Mini Pro. After the upgrade everything works beautifully except 2 things.
1> I am unable to play any online videos. When I try loading the video it does not load the control for it and shows a small square block like a Lego brick. Looks like the browser is missing some add-on like Flash or something. Have tried installing Flash for the browser but it said Flash is already installed.. Have tried downloading a different browser, like Opera but that does not help either.
2> This is not very important, but for some reason the alarm does not work any more. I can set the alarm on the phone. It shows that the alarm is set for a particular time but when the time comes it does not ring. Have tried using different applications for this but those don't work either.
I cant see my pics and videos every time i click the gallery the background turns to yellow is this a factory defect? I bought this last 2 weeks ago.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI bought a new X10 mini Pro 2 days back and tried taking some pictures on the phone. The camera does not not get activated when I press teh Key avalable at the side of the phone. When i activate the camera from the application menu, I could focus and also use the flash to take picture. A green dot appears at the top left corner of the screen and blinks for some time indicating it is ready to shoot. I also get a beep sound as it should normally happen when the shot is successful. But, the pictures are not saved on my phone. I tried both inserting a sim card and without it.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI got the X10 mini about 9 months ago, and upgraded the OS to Android 2.1 as soon as the upgrade was made available. Since the upgrade, I have been unable to view photos properly using the new and improved Facebook app that was installed as part of the upgrade.When I'm using Facebook, it will display thumbnails correctly for each photo, but when I click on the thumbnail to see the photo properly, it will display a pixelated fullscreen version of the photo for about 2-5 seconds which then disappears, leaving me with a 'broken image' symbol and a loading swirl which just stay there indefinitely. Strangely, if my phone goes into sleep mode, when I unlock the screen the pixellated version of the photo is showing again, but will again disappear after a few seconds.

View 3 Replies View Relatedmy phone came with a lot of unwanted junk installed on it. The Facebook app is one of them. I can check Facebook on my browser when I want to. I don't want it to connect all the time. To my amazement I can't control the app at all. Even with everything turned off it uses about 100MB in the background a week, escpecially since the last update of the app! It starts up automatically every so many minutes. My datalimit is 400MB a month. This way the software pushed by Sony is creating large phonebills. That can't be right! The only way to remove that stuff is to root my phone, that's ridicilous! To pre-install software...ok...but I should be able to control what to do with that software, remove it, disable it and stop it from using up my data! I've informed some consumer agencies about this so I'll see what they have to say. This doesn't seem legal to me since I wasn't informed that I can't remove the apps and that they use data without your permission.
