Xperia X10 Mini/pro :: Got Error When Add Friend In Facebook

I recently upgraded my Facebook app to the 2.1 version, so I am happy to say I can now upload You Tube clips (even though I never got to use the "Check In" section of FB), buy hey ho. My new gripe is that since upgrading, I now can't edit my profile, or add friends.....when I go to add a friend, I get the following error message: "Cannot fetch the user data at this time. Please try again later. [Unexpected end of json input]". Oh, and it doesn't let me "try again later", as I just get the same message.

I just noticed something today. I just added a new facebook friend recently.On the Facebook app, I can see this friend.On the contact list, when I try to link this friend to facebook, I can't find her.Do you guys know what I'm missing?btw, I've done this before for all my other friends and I've always been able to link them so I don't know if this is a recent problem or I've never noticed that some friends are missing???

I can't get the friend stream app to load my facebook account. It always says "The service is not available do you want to try again?" Clicking yes just causes the same screen to reappear.I previously had the app working but a password change has resulted in my current issue. The Facebook for android app, separate from the HTC app, works fine, but I like the friend stream widget better.
I've tried clearing the cache and force stopping both apps, with no success. Any other ideas or known solutions?On the DINC, with no root or leaked OTA. Tried over 3g and WiFi at home.

I'm able to tag a friend when I write a status or adding a picture... I want to know if it's possible to tag a friend in comments under my or friends's status using my Facebook app on the iPhone? To have the same result as when you put @"name of friend" while using Facebook on the computer abd the name appears in blue...

My Friend's Facebook profile pictures not showing in my contact list. infact my whole contact list is not syncronized with facebook. i have checked all the settings on the facebook application and the check box next to "UPDATE EXISTING PHOTOS IN YOUR BLACKBERRY CONTACTS LIST WITH FACEBOOK FRIEND PROFILE PHOTOS" is ticked and all the options seems okay...

I got the X10 mini about 9 months ago, and upgraded the OS to Android 2.1 as soon as the upgrade was made available. Since the upgrade, I have been unable to view photos properly using the new and improved Facebook app that was installed as part of the upgrade.When I'm using Facebook, it will display thumbnails correctly for each photo, but when I click on the thumbnail to see the photo properly, it will display a pixelated fullscreen version of the photo for about 2-5 seconds which then disappears, leaving me with a 'broken image' symbol and a loading swirl which just stay there indefinitely. Strangely, if my phone goes into sleep mode, when I unlock the screen the pixellated version of the photo is showing again, but will again disappear after a few seconds.

Currently, I'm having this issue. After the ICS update, everything is working fine (better), but I just recieved the Facebook app update couple days ago, and when I'm on facebook and then I close the app, my MiniPro totally freezes and I have to remove the battery.

my phone came with a lot of unwanted junk installed on it. The Facebook app is one of them. I can check Facebook on my browser when I want to. I don't want it to connect all the time. To my amazement I can't control the app at all. Even with everything turned off it uses about 100MB in the background a week, escpecially since the last update of the app! It starts up automatically every so many minutes. My datalimit is 400MB a month. This way the software pushed by Sony is creating large phonebills. That can't be right! The only way to remove that stuff is to root my phone, that's ridicilous! To pre-install software...ok...but I should be able to control what to do with that software, remove it, disable it and stop it from using up my data! I've informed some consumer agencies about this so I'll see what they have to say. This doesn't seem legal to me since I wasn't informed that I can't remove the apps and that they use data without your permission.

Fb fine via web and own app timescape updates calls sms etc ok just no fb updates for over a week
browser works on 3g and wifi i've a x10 mini pro on vodafone if that has any effect.when i click to update timescape nothing changes i've updated new version of fb app and restarted phone to no avail

I have x10 mini.The latest facebook app, 1.8.1 or whatever, I just cant get it to work properly, Often, or almost everytime, just says "loading" on an almost empty page.But the page does not load most of the times, and when it does, pics etc are missing. Just works very slow.
I have even re-installed my phone just now, but its still the same.The funny thing is that when this last facebook update was released a month ago? or so, it worked very fast and nice.Now for the past 2 weeks its almost unusable. Both on mobile internet and trough WiFi. How can this be?I have a decent internet on the phone and other webpages loads normaly.

the facebook app is not playing any of the videos , which it was able to play a few days before. the videos linked with Internet play with the Internet app, but other videos with flash support dont play and request to open with the browser.

Okay, I just updated my mini pro to 2.3.4 and, I sort of have a problem. In 2.3.3 I used to see all my facebook albums in the stock gallery application. But since I've updated the software, I can only see one facebook album i.e 'New from friends' in gallery. Any way by which I can sort this out and get all my facebook albums in gallery?

How can I have my x10 mini pro display my contacts' chosen picture (as saved in the phonebook) and not the contact's picture from facebook? I don't necessarily want to separate the contact from their facebook profile.

I use Sony Ericsson Xperia Pro (Gingerbread and updated). Since I use Facebook App for Android on my Xperia Pro for posting status message, I never see that Xperia Brand appears on status message indicator on the bottom of the status, e.g. 1 minute ago via Xperia. Whereas, other Xperia smartphones such as Arc, Mini Pro, etc, no problem was found (the brand appears).

X10 MINI The Facebook app. Version 1.6.4 doesnt work properly any moore.
Mostly the small pictures Avatars beside comments and such, doesnt show anymore. The small pictures are just blank often and they dont appear even if page is reloaded. Sometimes a few are loaded but many are missing, and often none of them loads. Not even my own. Doesnt matter if I use WiFi or mobile conecction
It used to work before but not since last one or two facbook app updates. Tried to delete the cahce files of the app but didnt help. If I uninstall updates will it not set it back to the very first version of the app? Thats not so good.
