View 3 Replies View RelatedI just switched to the HTC One M9 and am using GoSMS Pro for my messaging. In my Phonebook Contacts, all of my linked FB contacts have their current profile pic showing up but in the GoSMS Pro app, they just show up as default blue avatar. I can manually save each profile pic and assign it to a contact, but I don't want to have to do that for all of my FB friends!
These are the only setting options I have in GoSMS Pro:
I just upgraded from a Droid X to a Droid 3. On my X my facebook pictures automatically populated my contacts.
That is not the case with my Droid 3.
1) I've added a Facebook Account
2) There was no pre-installed facebook app so I downloaded and installed the Facebook App from the Market.
No pictures in my contacts although my facebook contacts did appear (in text form). I did wait a day to see if they'd come down. Next, I removed the app and the account. This time around I switched the order...
1) I installed the Facebook app from the market
2) I went to add and account. There was a small facebook icon and a large one. The large one looked "new" so I tapped it. The screen when blank for a second and then back to the account icons.
3) I chose the smaller facebook icon and was prompted for my login.
Facebook is listed as an account, but still no pictures in my contacts.
I can't get the friend stream app to load my facebook account. It always says "The service is not available do you want to try again?" Clicking yes just causes the same screen to reappear.I previously had the app working but a password change has resulted in my current issue. The Facebook for android app, separate from the HTC app, works fine, but I like the friend stream widget better.
I've tried clearing the cache and force stopping both apps, with no success. Any other ideas or known solutions?On the DINC, with no root or leaked OTA. Tried over 3g and WiFi at home.

I just added a new facebook friend recently.On the Facebook app, I can see this friend.On the contact list, when I try to link this friend to facebook, I can't find her.Do you guys know what I'm missing?btw, I've done this before for all my other friends and I've always been able to link them so I don't know if this is a recent problem or I've never noticed that some friends are missing???

My new gripe is that since upgrading, I now can't edit my profile, or add friends.....when I go to add a friend, I get the following error message: "Cannot fetch the user data at this time. Please try again later. [Unexpected end of json input]". Oh, and it doesn't let me "try again later", as I just get the same message.
