Xperia Mini/pro :: Photos Missing In Gallery?
Jun 9, 2012After updating my phone to ICS, the photos which I am adding in the image folder is missing in the Xperia Gallery.I unable to view it. But when I check with task manager it is available.Can anybody expain wats the problem is and how could I update it?

Dec 5, 2011Last week I noticed that all my photos and videos have are missing from gallery and i thought I might have deleted them accidentally, but discovered tht after taking a picture they go missing withing a short time, A carefull search with OVI suite and my PC revealed tht all the videos and photos are still in the E;mass memory but for some reason I cant access them from my phone.
I also noticed tht there seem to be a problem with the E:mass memory when I access it through file manager. I cannot access any of my folders saved in the E: memory.

Sep 8, 2011I have copied a load of songs and pictures from Windows to my E6 microSD card.The songs are working nicely, no problem there (= SD card working properly).The photos don't appear in the gallery/photo browser. When I reboot, the phone claims it is scanning for new media, but the photos don't show up.

May 14, 2015All but my Camera Album from my SD card are missing. However, I can find them in a file manager app. My downloads, screenshots, and Camera folder on the device are all there, just not in the Gallery. When I take a photo now, it creates a new folder in the Gallery. However, the photo that I taken when navigated to it in file manager, is in the same folder as the missing photos? I've cleared the cache and data. Restarted the phone multiple times.

Nov 8, 2014Since I've had my S5, when I would download a pic from the internet, I'd be able to go into my gallery, into a folder called "download" and edit, send them, etc. All of a sudden that folder just disappeared! I downloaded a pic just to check, and the pic IS on my phone (not SD card, I've never used one), but there's no way for me to access it in the gallery. I don't know what changed, and it's annoying!

Jul 25, 2014I got a brand new Samsung Galaxy S5 a week ago. Well I have that little problem with it that whenever I download a pic from for example Google or Hangouts I don't have the -Downloads- folder in my gallery. They do not show up anywhere except if I go to "My files - internal memory - downloads" but nowhere in the gallery. In the gallery I chose the option to show every pic which is saved to the device but they don't show up only camera photos, screenshots. Nothing else.

May 17, 2015I have strange error today on my S6, i was taking a picture and go to quick view , when its open i only have one picture in side, no folder with Camera (295 photos in side) no Facebook (56 photo) only that picture what i take that moment. Then i explore folders (DCIM/camera) and all photos and video are there but my gallery only see this last one.
I tray to rename folder name and when i shoot new picture he make new folder (Camera) and i can see picture that i take, now i copy from old folder to this new, and still i don't see other picture,

Jul 7, 2015I have a s5 my problem started Friday afternoon every time I take a photo it goes to gallery as it should do then it will disappear nowhere to be found also if people send me photos or video's to, from Facebook or whatsapp then go to the file then all of a sudden they disappear too I am having to save everything on drop box before it deletes its self's.

I've gone to Settings>accounts>Google and Settings>accounts>facebook and unchecked everything related to sync. I have gone to app manager, but Gallery is not on the list, so how do I erase the cache? There are zillions of photos that I do not need on the phone and many of them appear in duplicate, triplicate.

May 11, 2015Now that Samsung in their INFINITE wisdom has taken out the menu button. How to delete photos directly from Gallery? No.. not from File Manager or 3rd party software. Just the standard Gallery App that came default. If I wanted to go through my pictures and delete certain ones, then how? I can hold down on some pics and tag/select. There is a SHARE button on there but nothing else. No editing, No rotate option, no print, no move options. NOTHING.

Apr 21, 2015I have a S6 edge and a PC running Windows 7.
Goal: When plugging the phone into my PC it will downloads all the pictures in the “Gallery”(only) to a designated folder of my choosing via Windows 7’s “import pictures and video”.
I have not been able to accomplish this simple task. When I plug my phone in to my PC it usually says there are no new pictures (when there actually are new pictures). If I open the “Gallery” and then plug the phone in to the PC, it then precedes to scan the phone’s entire drive for new pictures. This takes a while it does get the photos from the “Gallery” along with tons of unwanted photos scattered throughout the phone’s drive.
Is there any way to direct Windows “import pictures and videos” to a specific folder(DCIM/Camera)? This worked extremely effectively with iPhone 5, but I’m thinking it can’t be done with the S6. It was super simple; just plug it in and presto, done.
Do have to use a 3rd party app to accomplish this with the S6?

Apr 22, 2014Have an issue on certain photos taken on camera. The picture is at first fine, then suddenly a grey box appears over the photo. The preview pic on the bottom shows the full pic but when you look at the full photo the grey box appears. When you flip through the photo, the full photo appears very quickly then the grey box appears.
