Galaxy S5 :: Camera Light Coming On When Not Using Camera
Nov 2, 2015The camera light keeps coming on when not using the camera. The only thing that turns it off is re-starting the phone.

Eseries / Communicators :: E7 00 Camera Light Coming On By Itself?
Oct 9, 2011Had my E7 since May but this problem has been around for most of that time. The phone can be sat there without anyone touching it when all of a sudden the light on the back (I assume the flash light) comes on of its own accord. It is very bright and I can't switch it off.I took the phone back to the store twice already and the second time the guy in the store could also see it happening but the repairers are failing to find the fault.Sometimes the light stays on and the screen lights up and then fades. Other times (like today) the light comes on and the unlock slide key on the left hand side of phone fails to work. Only unlocking the phone via screen will work.Have checked and no applications are running so not sure what is going wrong. Anyone else had any similar problems because I am baffled.

May 31, 2015Having a strange issue where the phone won't power off using the physical power button, the camera keeps coming up, and the phone gets really hot.
Did the soft reset by holding power + volume down for 7 seconds and had it restart, power off, and safe restart, all of which I was able to do successfully, but each time the phone has the same issue when it boots back up.
I don't want to hard reset and lose my layout.

May 6, 2015I got the s6 edge today. Was playing with the camera indoors and comparing to the iPhone 6 and came across a huge problem. In low light the Samsung is over saturating the rug and floor and getting no detail. It is smoothing the image out horribly while the iPhone looks natural. If looks like the rug is getting the beauty feature applied. In light it is great but this is just embarrassing.

I heard what sounded like the camera make that shutter click sound but didn't really pay too much attention to it. May 16, 2011Camera light suddenly came on. Cannot get it to turn off. Tried setting the light to off, no luck. Pulled the battery while off as well as while on and re-boot without success. As soon as the battery is connected the light comes on.

It's frustrating! Nov 17, 2012i'm on my second white 920, returned the first due to battery issues. i've started playing with the camera and noticed that it does not take low light photos well. i tried taking photos in a dark room, using default settings and focus assist light on and the end result is dark photo with barely anything visible (see attached).
is anyone else having this problem with the camera sensor in low or almost no light situations? i've seen it demoed on Internet a few times where people take photos in very low or almost no light situations and they've gotten pretty good results. but for me, i'm not getting anything visible in my photos.
