The camera for my HTC One M8 has seemed to have become very sensitive to light. I can't take any photos without light making the picture very glary. Just wondering if my sensor is damaged? I have played with all the camera settings and nothing changes the light glare, even ISO.
View 3 RepliesI've had a big problem using my 9900 in bright daylight outdoors, I'm not 100% sure if it's due to heat, or the bright light, but the menus keep going up by themselves to the point where it's very hard to use the phone. I can control the menus by using the touch screen, but it's very difficult with the trackpad because they just keep going up.

Had my E7 since May but this problem has been around for most of that time. The phone can be sat there without anyone touching it when all of a sudden the light on the back (I assume the flash light) comes on of its own accord. It is very bright and I can't switch it off.I took the phone back to the store twice already and the second time the guy in the store could also see it happening but the repairers are failing to find the fault.Sometimes the light stays on and the screen lights up and then fades. Other times (like today) the light comes on and the unlock slide key on the left hand side of phone fails to work. Only unlocking the phone via screen will work.Have checked and no applications are running so not sure what is going wrong. Anyone else had any similar problems because I am baffled.

I just upgraded from the 8330 Curve, to this one and so far I am highly disappointed!My friend who has an iPhone said BB is trying to be more like it. From the layout of the texts to the options. It's frustrating! If I wanted an iPhone, I would have bought one...I like the BB for the features it has not for being like the iPhone.Sorry, I got a bit rant-y but I cannot believe this new version doesn't have a flash. Hope I'm overlooking something!

The photo light is not flash it has to be manually on and off (Which is really bad).nSometimes I need to manually set the camera setting since auto mode is not better always. Friends tell me what I need to do in my xperia ray to take good pics even at the bad light conditions. Some of the apps also I tried but which are very bad comparatively with native Camera app .

View 9 Replies View Relatedi'm on my second white 920, returned the first due to battery issues. i've started playing with the camera and noticed that it does not take low light photos well. i tried taking photos in a dark room, using default settings and focus assist light on and the end result is dark photo with barely anything visible (see attached).
is anyone else having this problem with the camera sensor in low or almost no light situations? i've seen it demoed on Internet a few times where people take photos in very low or almost no light situations and they've gotten pretty good results. but for me, i'm not getting anything visible in my photos.
Why there is no option when use record video no on/off light.?if any program do to can use it

View 2 Replies View Relatedany apps that allow the photo-LED light to actually "flash" or "snap" if you will when you're taking a photo at night as apposed to going deep into the options menu and activating the photo-light which stays on and blinds the shyte out of your subjects? Its the only feature that would make the camera perfect in my opinion.

In low light the Samsung is over saturating the rug and floor and getting no detail. It is smoothing the image out horribly while the iPhone looks natural. If looks like the rug is getting the beauty feature applied. In light it is great but this is just embarrassing.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have noticed in low-light photos, in both Superior Auto and Manual mode that there is a blue tint on the edges of low light photos, especially more on the left side. The only way I've noticed I can really mitigate it is if I lower the ISO on manual mode, but then the photos would end up being too dark.
I have seen this issue discussed on other forums; some say it is a hardware issue, some software, and others say a camera module replacement may fix it. But I don't think Sony has officially ever acknowledged this issue, even though it is definitely present.

I have an Xperia Z2 updated with android 4.4.4. When I try to take pictures at night I just get purple photos. This started just a few weeks ago out of nowhere. Let me say that the lens is not dirty nor blocked by anything. I don't have a case. I have just restored the phone today with Sony PC Companion and still the same issue.
