Jun 21, 2012i have trouble with me camera light staying on, i was going to take it to the genius but i have changed the screen. does this make it void in any way as i have tampered with the iphone. the phone has been working fine since i changed the screen and the light just suddenly came on and wont go off.

Sep 4, 2014I Have a, 16GB iPhone 5. I'm not sure what software version is as I can't turn it on.
The phone turned off and is now just staying with the apple on the screen. I have tried holding Dow the top button and the home button to reset it but it still seems to happen. I've charged it too.

Its annoying when I am trying to record something, Sometimes it will reflect off surfaces.. Dec 2, 2014It's my boyfriend's iPhone & we've dropped it plenty of times in the past going on 6 months now, so you can imagine it has plenty of cracks & the back had come off to where we taped it back on. Recently - a few days to a week ago I dropped it & it seemed fine until I tried taking a picture of our cats and the camera opened to a black screen. Everything else works fine except the speaker when we call out we have to put it on speaker for someone to hear us - already tried cleaning out all the ports. I don't want him to go to the iPhone store and have them complain about all the issues wrong with the phone and go extreme bill on him either. Yes I have tried restarting his phone, I just don't want to completely reboot it when it's under his mom's account & her iCloud. & The front facing camera works.

Aug 27, 2014Recently I got a broken Iphone 4S from a friend and he told me he dropped it, so it doesn't show anything at all. I thought it was a LCD problem so i bought a new lcd screen from amazon and well it some-what works. I hear siri and it vibrates a couple of times (vibrates when i plug it to a charger) but the screen is off , nothing no light or anything, also the light in the back is always on (it did that before). My question is whats the issue now? and is it still fixable? Also i can't connect it to itunes because of password and i don't know how to unlock the phone through the computer.In addition, I already tried holding the home and power button for 10-20 seconds, even holding just the power button...

Jun 22, 2014My iPhone 4 turned off or something when I wasn't paying attention, and so I tried to turn it on but it didn't. I've seen all these other posted questions stating to hold down both buttons or syncing it to your computer, but neither of these work for me. By this I mean that when I hold down the buttons nothing happens and when I tried to sync it to my computer my iTunes didn't even acknowledge that anything was connected. When I plugged it into my computer a red light came on above my front camera and speaker, I have never seen this ever happen nor heard of it either. It stayed on for about a minute or two and then it shut off, but then it came back on. I then tried to hold down both buttons and I watched the light, my phone didn't restart or anything but the light dimmed a couple times and it was all really weird. I know it had at least 30%, if not more, battery.

IPhone :: 4 Not Staying On After Restoring?
May 5, 2012It just started yesterday. The phone would shut off randomly and then the only way for it to come back up is to plug it in. Sometime it complete shut off where I would have to turn it back on or plugging it would just go straight to the home screen. Now the phone wont go past the apple sign at all. I got to the home screen two times today and one time it it had no connection and lost service and then it came back and then it had no service again. So I turned it off to try and get signal again.
Eventually it came back on and the phone worked for about 2 minutes and then just complete shut off while still plugged in. I am now trying to restore it and it keeps shutting of mid restore and then I have to keep putting it back into DFU mode or however you spell it. The phone has the most up to date firmware but do I need to start the download over if the phone cycled randomly while it the download was still downloading from itunes or do I just put it back into that mode and let it continue downloading?
