I got the s6 edge today. Was playing with the camera indoors and comparing to the iPhone 6 and came across a huge problem. In low light the Samsung is over saturating the rug and floor and getting no detail. It is smoothing the image out horribly while the iPhone looks natural. If looks like the rug is getting the beauty feature applied. In light it is great but this is just embarrassing.

Sometime I carry with me a tape measure and I lay it along the lenght and/r height of the item just to get a rough measurement of the item's dimension.Is it possible for Nokia to develop a camera with a built-in measuring tape that shows up in the pictures taken? The measuring tape should be able to adjust to the distance between the camera and the object so that the actual dimension of the object is measured accurately. If I take a picture of crawling snake from 20 feet away the picture taken should be able to show the actual lenght of the snake.

Next is when you take picture. When u go to photo albums. You see a link below saying open in Nokia camera. How come pics have that link and others don't? I took some smartcam pics too look at later and can't open it up and do the action shots and other stuff.
Recently the pictures taken using the iPhone's camera are not showing up on the camera roll. The iPhone 4 still has memory available, so I do not believe the issue to be related to too many pictures.

I got a blackberry torch 2 months ago at first it took pictures fine and it saved to the media folder. I do not have a memory card in the phone and there is no pictures on and only 9 songs so it cannot be the memory that is causing this problem.When I take a picture it shows at the bottom of the screen but it does not save to the phone as well as when I bluetooth music it downloads and shows download complete but when I check the music folder it does'nt appear.I have tried inserting a memory card but the items on the memory card does not appear on the phone.
View 9 Replies View RelatedHas anyone noticed how bad the video and pictures are on the iphone 4 for low light.It takes a LED light to make ANYTHING not blurry when taking a picture,and for videos in dark areas (ie a club) it is just awful. There was so much noise in the video and no focus whatsoever.I was planning on not taking my point and shoot to parties,but i guess I have to go back,cause the quality is just really awful during the night.Any apps out there to help cure it?The daytime it works wonders though.

I was taking some low light pictures over the last few days and it seems that some of them are still plagued with the green tint issue that some users have been talking about for many months. I have attached two samples to show what I am talking about. I am a Lumia 1520 user with Cyan update. The sample shots were night time pictures on tripod with low ISO and long exposure time.

On the horizontal shot, please check the area slightly above the middle, you should notice a green line going across the picture and then everything below that has a greenish tint to it. For the other picture, you should see two vertical lines at the top of the picture near the middle a bit above the statue. I used both ProShot and Nokia Camera and they both showed the same issue so I don't think it is a software issue but rather more of a hardware or firmware problem. Not all low light pictures I took has the issue though which makes it more bizarre. I doubt it is the camera module on my phone because my daylight pictures are fine and many of my low light pictures are good (or at least the tint is not noticeable).
