Ever since the lollipop upgrade, my wife's Galaxy S5 has been randomly inserting a green line into some of the pictures. Its always vertical and typically at the bottom of the picture and sometimes ranges from a quarter of an inch to an inch long.

My rear facing is fine and my screen it self is fine. Why this is happening. It's even on snapchat and my stock camera app.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have a Nokia Lumia 710 since April 2012. But, from today (9 September, 2012), it's camera stopped working properly. I clicked a pic and then put it in my pocket. I took it out five minutes later to take another one, and since then it's been showing a vertical line. I thought I busted the cover-glass. But it was spotless. So I did a reboot. That did not work. So I immediately checked some other applications that access the camera (like ShutterPro and Handyscan). They too showed the line. Then I reopened the camera app and I zoomed in and even the line got magnified. So I took a sample picture, and viewed it on my laptop. It is a pattern of dots. I enclose the photo with this.

As you can see, there are 5 green dots in the picture. I understand that when taking direct pictures of a sundown etc., that there might be some lens flare in the picture, but these dots are caused by the lights of a CHRISTMAS TREE! (How many people are going be taking pictures of their Christmas tree in the coming few weeks..?) Also, no matter how I positioned my camera, the dots still continued to show in other pictures as well, forcing me to delete them. Â
What are my options here? Buy Photoshop and edit the dots out and accept that a 899€ phone has a bunch of camera issues, or is it possible that apple could at some point fix these lens flare issues in an update?
! My wifes edge 6 has a strange problem when taking pictures...every time she takes a picture the first one is just a green screen then takes a fine one.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI took all kinds of videos and photos today and none are showing up in my camera roll. When I took/take them they show up on the bottom of my screen like usual. However, when I go to my photos and go to my camera roll no photos or video are showing up from today. I have locked and unlocked, reset my phone and everything. Nothing is saving my photos. My phone worked perfectly normal yesterday. And I thought it was today, but I guess not.

I'm trying to cut down on unnecessary storage space, and for some reason there is a gigabyte and a half of photos (1,109 pictures it says) listed in the iTunes usage display, when I have exactly 4 pictures in my camera roll, no videos. I've imported all the photos I've taken to iPhoto on my macbook, but those wouldn't affect the storage on my iPhone.... right? Is there something incredibly obvious I'm missing

Version 5.02 ... The Gallery is not showing pictures that I download / save from a browser, or save an image from face book. I restore a bunch of photo's and put them in DCIM > Camera folder along with the other pictures I've take, but those don't show up either. The only pictures that show up in the gallery are those that I take with the Camera. I checked the other folders for the .nomedia file, and I don't see it.
View 12 Replies View RelatedI have only had my Edge 4 days i noticed this morning my pictures were not showing in the gallery. I tried restarting and still not showing. They are on the device storage though. But i can not figure out how to get them back to the gallery. Strangely enough, the pictures I took yesterday are in the gallery.
I have called Tmobile and Samsung both Are unsure of the issue. This is my last effort to get the problem resolved with this phone before I reset it. How to resolve this or is a reset needed?

View 8 Replies View RelatedYesterday I bought a 16GB sd card and i inserted it into my phone samsung S5 and then I went to a party and I took some pictures which were automatically stored in sd card . when I came back to home I took out my SD card and reinserted it then my pictures were not visible in gallery . I checked into the my file folder in which opened sd card folder and checked everywhere there were not photos but some files which i opened and it wasn't opening there was written that no apps can perform this action . i switched the phone off and then restarted it no picture is visible. what is the solution ? how can i get my photos again?

If I open "My Files" in the Applications folder, the photos are present (but not visible) as jpeg files. When I open the SD card in my PC each jpeg is present as a 2GB file (approx.), but again, can't be opened. How do I get to se my holiday snaps?
View 1 Replies View Relatedi loaded an app called "CLEAN SWEEP, and " Whats APP".. does any one of these apps change some properties that are hard to find that now makes any of my pictures i download from my messaging app, or camera go straight to "MY FILES" instead of showing in MY GALLERY like they used to do. I have deleted the old download folder to see if it wold start a new one , and it did, but still is not showing up in my gallery, just my files. the only pics showing up in my gallery are the ones on my sd card.

Also, the camera is focused for objects in 10cm distance, almost like macro mode. I've tried clearing cache, resetting data -- nothing seemed to work.

I tried tweaking both phone settings and app settings and the pin/pattern unlock was the initial problem that I found.

The "swipe" to unlock is now my primary screen unlock method with no security procedure in place.Â
Thing is that i still sometimes don't get the notifications under "screen lock" mode for these 3rd party apps even i chose to show all notification content under phone settings.Â
I only get them when I have swiped to unlock my phone, and a whole chunk of notifications start popping up.

Just got S5 and got everything activated and synced. Went to take a picture and it comes up camera failed. I've Googled without much luck. Done everything short of a factory reset that I can think of, which is not much.
