I have just purchased a brand new Blackberry bold 9900 in march and the phone was fine until last week a horizontal line appeared across my screen just above my time and below my carrier. At first it came and went and now it's permanent and I don't know what to do?

Four days ago I noticed a thin black line flickering across the screen and I thought It would go away because the phone didn't drop. This morning, it became two thin black lines.I have no clue how it came about or how to fix it and its really distracting. I updated my OS to the latest one and I also updated my BBM to the 6.1 beta. The phone didn't drop, the line just came out of nowhere.
View 6 Replies View RelatedI got my new Bold 9900 about two weeks ago. I noticed today that there is thin black line that across my camera screen. This line is near the bottom of the camera screen and is in photos I take. This line will move downwards as I zoom in and disappears if I zoom in enough (and won't be in the pictures taken when zoomed in enough).
This line doesn't appear when I change to video camera. BTW my conveneice key which currently on the default option (camera) is EXTREMELY hard to activitate...I need to press REALLY hard!
A couple of times now I've had this problem where I go to use my phone or read a new text that has come through and when I go to enter my 4 digit pin the screen is not responding & I have this blue horizontal line that moves down from the top of the screen continuously like its doing some sort of scan over the phone. I have no way to stop this or to have the ability to enter my 4 digit pin for accessing my phone.
Eventually I give up trying to enter my pin & put my phone down for hours. When I come back to try again twice now I've been able to use my phone like normal and the issue seems to have gone away but other times this still remains for a longer time then randomly starts to work as normal. I've forced my phone to turn off & or reboot but this still isn't fixing the problem. I haven't been able to access my phone for over 10 hours and I have miss calls & messages that people have sent me but unable to get past my 4 digit pin to read them.
My bold 9900 Camera recently started displaying a thin pink line across the screen horizontally. This affects both pictures and videos captured with the camera.

I have a Nokia Lumia 710 since April 2012. But, from today (9 September, 2012), it's camera stopped working properly. I clicked a pic and then put it in my pocket. I took it out five minutes later to take another one, and since then it's been showing a vertical line. I thought I busted the cover-glass. But it was spotless. So I did a reboot. That did not work. So I immediately checked some other applications that access the camera (like ShutterPro and Handyscan). They too showed the line. Then I reopened the camera app and I zoomed in and even the line got magnified. So I took a sample picture, and viewed it on my laptop. It is a pattern of dots. I enclose the photo with this.

Initially I thought the problem lies with the batteries as they hadn't been charged for a few months. I tried different methods to bring it back to life and by luck, I managed to charge the phone and it worked for 2 days.
Then I tried to restart my phone. It had almost full battery then. It turned off and then the red cross on the battery came up again. So I thought it might be a problem with the software so I made the stupidest mistake by connecting it to my computer and trying to repair the software.
Now my Blackberry is not turning on and constantly shows me the red cross. When I do manage to charge it, it gives me error 507. And when i try to connect it to my computer and repair it, the red cross comes up when the desktop software is "waiting for device to initialise". I've had this phone for about 9 months and it worked fine until I neglected it for some months.
please help how to insert a line or go to the next line while composing a sms on BB 9700.

It's an horizontal arrow point right to left with a sub-arrow coming off the top of it, pointing in the same direction. Looks similiar to a "h" lying horizontal with the 2 legs pointing west, the secondary leg on top.
I am having with my BlackBerry Bold 9900. The time for incoming SMS messages is constantly saying 03.10am, and when I scroll over the message it always says "received 1 minute ago", regardless of when the message was received. My sent messages seem to be working fine and the time and date have been set correctly. The phone is only a week old and the software is up to date. I have tried removing the battery and rebooting the device but nothing has worked.

It comes with call displays but whenever someone calls me and I have their number saved into my contact list their name wont show up. So I don't know who is calling me even though I have their number saved into my phone. Sometimes it shows up and sometime it doesn't (same people). View 1 Replies View RelatedMy Lumia 1520 has a permanent discolouration in the lower right hand corner. There's a rusty purple blotch about the size of a pinky finger nail clipping about a cm above and half cm to the left of the menu ellipsis.
This blotch is ONLY VISIBLE ON BLACK BACKGROUNDS. When the screen is white or any other colour, the blotch doesn't appear.
I can see two lights at the edge of the screen (one above and one below the discolouration.)
This is strange because all the overheating issues are localized around the top left hand corner of the screen to the left of the camera lens. I assume the processor is in that region.
there is some sort of white pixels/moist/dust i don't know what it is but its there on top part of the screen and i can see them on colored background except like pitch black background

View 1 Replies View RelatedI am a first time user of Sony, and Xperia Z5 is my first phone. I got it on 26th October and I have used iPhones and Samsung phones previously.
I tried tweaking both phone settings and app settings and the pin/pattern unlock was the initial problem that I found.
The "swipe" to unlock is now my primary screen unlock method with no security procedure in place.
Thing is that i still sometimes don't get the notifications under "screen lock" mode for these 3rd party apps even i chose to show all notification content under phone settings.
I only get them when I have swiped to unlock my phone, and a whole chunk of notifications start popping up.

Ever since the lollipop upgrade, my wife's Galaxy S5 has been randomly inserting a green line into some of the pictures. Its always vertical and typically at the bottom of the picture and sometimes ranges from a quarter of an inch to an inch long.
