I can't seem to find anything in the owners manual about: What it means when the green light (advises messages or missed call) is Orange rather than the normal green?

Phone is brand new, and while charging via the wall outlet a solid green led stays on. Please understand I have done all of the power button configurations possibe and it won't come on.
View 3 Replies View RelatedThis botched release of ice cream has taken a lot of time. Support personnel don't know the product. I've been disconnected twice from Motorola personnel. That's an old trick - hang up on the customer in mid-sentence - pretend it's a phone problem - don't call back.
I've figured out most of the goop. The last problem I have is that I do get the green notification light for text messages but it's gone for e-mails. Does anyone know how to get the light back?
Motorola, you did a poor job with this release. Support personnel don't know the product and you are way understaffed to handle all the calls.
I get a flashing blue or green light in the upper right hand corner of my phone, next to the proximity sensor. Does anyone know what the notifications are for? I know its for a new message but what color is for what message? I looked all over the user guide but it doesn't tell me which color is for which notification. The colors don't seem to be consistent with the new messages I get.

View 3 Replies View RelatedAs usual, went to look at phone, BSOD, green blinking light. Battery pull, reboot. Don't know why the green light was blinking, there were no new messages, on the phone after the reboot. Ok, now after the reboot I had no data connecetion at all now. Took about 10 minutes, I kept playing with the settings and the data finally came back. It was 4G full bars, go figure. Im in Las Vegas not a new fringe area. I can take any issure or bug with this phone except this one, where the phone goes dead and you never know it. I just don't understand. Their actually gonna make me take it on the chin and go buy a different phone.

The green LED is on and solid, the screen is black (sleeping) and it refuses to wake up. The phone did not get wet, I did not drug it, it did not do some heavy exercises, it was sitting on the table, it is not tired. So, what am I supposed to do now? How do I wake it up?

I got the orange triangle notification yesterday saying something about having to re-enter my password. I enter it and I'm told it's invalid but I know it isn't. I change the password three or four times and keep getting the same results. However going directly to a Google site the passwords worked every time and yet my phone authentication whatever you want to call it tells me its wrong. Can't access Google play or update any app atm.

View 8 Replies View RelatedI was charging my new BlackBerry Curve 8530 just about now and I was checking if it was charging or not because it only had the blinker, blinking orange and nothing else. Because it's been charging for an hour or so.
I accidently turn the BlackBerry on so I quickly turn it off to let it continue charging. But when I turn it off, the orange blink wasn't blinking anymore so I unplug the charger and plug it back in quickly.
My question is: will this affect the battery length when I actually use the phone because I unplugged it that first charge?
So i loved this phone until i let it charge overnight on my desk to wake up to it BURNING HOT but the screen will not turn on. my morning alarm clock is going off but i can't turn it off either -.- the LED light is solid orange but the screen is completely dead. i tried pressing the red reset button and ive tried connecting it to the PC companion but it can't repair it.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI realize that not all phones are the same. I have a black and white wallpaper. It has a greenish/yellow tint. The light greys also have this look. I compared the phone to the demo and the demo was somewhat better. Compared to my Bionic is looks like crud. You can definately tell the colors are off. I can't keep this phone if this is how it looks. I will try returning again. Wondering if they had a batch of bad screens?

It's not flashing, and the red flashing light for messages does appear with it when i have a notification, but the green light always returns... I've tried taking out the battery, but the green light is the first thing that comes on when the battery is replaced. |I then let the battery run down and then charged it again, but the green light remains... I'm thinking those might be the culprit since they're basically just an omnipresent notification, and the light stops blinking for a time once I pull the notification shade down. Having a constant green light going off? Also, whatever it is could be the same thing that's keeping the CPU awake all the time. It doesn't seem to be affecting battery life too much though.

But this morning, when I went to unplug it from the charger, the green light was constantly blinking and it didn't take the charge.
