Today I picked up my phone and tried to press the wake/power on button. Nothing happened. The green LED is on and solid, the screen is black (sleeping) and it refuses to wake up. The phone did not get wet, I did not drug it, it did not do some heavy exercises, it was sitting on the table, it is not tired. So, what am I supposed to do now? How do I wake it up?

View 5 Replies View Relatedwent to plug my Atrix in last night, it had been sitting on the dresser. Worked fine when I set it there 4 hours earlier. Battery was maybe half charged, hadn't been used much that day. When I got back to it there was nothing; blank screen, no LEDS, and wouldn't come on. Plugged in and RED LED lit up. Left like this for a while and when I came back the camera light was on, but when I unplugged it went off. Still no power. Read that maybe not original Motorola charger. Got original and GREEN LED came on. GREEN LED also comes on when plugged to PC. When it is unplugged there is nothing.

View 7 Replies View RelatedI've a N8 but the Nokia Maps just don't want to work properly. When I start the software, it just shows a blank green screen and the GPS light is blinking. But I can't see any maps... It did work a few days ago but now it stopped working out of the blue. I updated the maps but the problem was still there. Then I deleted the cities folder and then I tried the new Beta version of the maps. Problem is still there... The nokia server is also correctly defined.

I can hear the notifications going thru my phone but the screen is blacked out. I've tried several times the Power button + Volume down but I can't even access the reboot display.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI have a Blackberry Tour 9630 for Sprint and I plugged it into my iMac last night to charge via USB and it was perfectly fine the whole time.When i woke up in the morn (the comp also went to sleep all night long) the phone screen was blank (black) and the red LED light was solid with no blinking. I unplugged the phone and the screen stayed blank and the light stayed on. I pressed the power button on the phone and the screen showed the little clock with rotating hands (like it was processing something) and then it went blank again and the LED light came back on.It did this 3 times before i took the battery out.I left the battery out for about 25mins and when i put it back in nothing happened at all. I pressed the power button and still nothing. The only thing that happens is when i plug it back in the comp, the solid red LED light comes back on - but still nothing on the screen.Has anyone experienced this or have any ideas for me? Did i fry the battery by leaving it plugged into a dormant comp?

I've figured out most of the goop. The last problem I have is that I do get the green notification light for text messages but it's gone for e-mails. Does anyone know how to get the light back?
Motorola, you did a poor job with this release. Support personnel don't know the product and you are way understaffed to handle all the calls.
I get a flashing blue or green light in the upper right hand corner of my phone, next to the proximity sensor. Does anyone know what the notifications are for? I know its for a new message but what color is for what message? I looked all over the user guide but it doesn't tell me which color is for which notification. The colors don't seem to be consistent with the new messages I get.

The screen wont turn on and it just black, but when i turn it on the red lights comes on and the keypad light, so the phone is clearly on. I thought it was a problem with the actual screen so i got new one and got it put it instead of the old one. this did not fix the problem and the screen still will not turn on.

View 8 Replies View RelatedI recently upgraded to a bold through Orange (UK Network Provider), phone has been great so far, I have had it for a week. However, I made a call and came back to my phone to find a blank screen and the red light flashing/staying constant intermittently. The phone does not turn on, I have tried taking battery out, sim out, memory card out, attaching it to my computer (which it does not recognize as it needs to be on) charging it etc. I have tried that alt, cap and del reset mechanism too.
Orange told me I will have to send it off this week, but does anyone know any quick fix to turn it on? I have all my contacts on there, stupidly I did not back it up.
As usual, went to look at phone, BSOD, green blinking light. Battery pull, reboot. Don't know why the green light was blinking, there were no new messages, on the phone after the reboot. Ok, now after the reboot I had no data connecetion at all now. Took about 10 minutes, I kept playing with the settings and the data finally came back. It was 4G full bars, go figure. Im in Las Vegas not a new fringe area. I can take any issure or bug with this phone except this one, where the phone goes dead and you never know it. I just don't understand. Their actually gonna make me take it on the chin and go buy a different phone.

If you attemt to add the World Clock widget on the home screen it will cause the LED light to flash green continuously when the display goes to sleep. Deleting the widget off screen doesn't make it go away and to make things worse, when rebooting the Atrix 2 the LED flashing comes back because once you apply this clock it will forever run in the background every time phone boots. You have to do a master reset to make this nightmare go away. Update: It appears that what causes this is when for the very first time you apply this widget it scans for your location and if unsuccessful is how this problem starts. Deleting the widget, clearing data and rebooting doesn't fix it. You have no other choice but to master reset the phone. If you were successful then it will function like it should.

View 14 Replies View RelatedAtrix 2 - after downloading Android 4.0.4, green phone icon is missing. The app icon is not in any tray, any screen, or the generalized app listings. However, it is listed as running when you select "Manage Apps." Doing a force stop, then rebooting unit does not restore the icon, even though it is listed as launch by default. Technically, app is "Phone", version 4.0.4-67.21.125. How can I restore it? (Workaround - select People, then small icon phone/dialpad.)

Since then I replaced my battery and the phone came on with the clock and then the screen showed up. and could not do anything. Then the screen went black. Now when I try to recharge it only a green light appears and nothing else. Did I kill my battery and is the phone no longer good or it's just my screen and i can replace it.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have two Atrix 2 phones. Both have received the ICS push from AT&T. Neither are rooted, and the download was without incident.
On one of the phones, the led notification does not work when emails are received. On the other phone, the led notification works fine.
I see no way to turn it on or off in system settings.
I made a mistake, well now it feels like a mistake, of installing light flow led controller on my Atrix 2 and it was a complete fail. So I uninstalled the app and now the LED notification light does not blink when it is in screen off mode. It blinks twice when you lock it, then the notifications stop. HELP! How do I reset the green notification flash?

It's not flashing, and the red flashing light for messages does appear with it when i have a notification, but the green light always returns... I've tried taking out the battery, but the green light is the first thing that comes on when the battery is replaced. |I then let the battery run down and then charged it again, but the green light remains... What is it? And how can I fix it?
