I have followed every advice in regards to this issue on every forum possibe and did a Google search. Phone is brand new, and while charging via the wall outlet a solid green led stays on. Please understand I have done all of the power button configurations possibe and it won't come on.

View 10 Replies View RelatedMy phone's battery died and it shut off. So I plugged it in to charge. The charging light just blinks instead of shows up solid (could swear this is solid eventually) and was set on charge for an hour.
It won't turn on now. I'm trying to just at least get it on while charging so I don't miss calls but holding down the power button does nothing.
I can't seem to find anything in the owners manual about: What it means when the green light (advises messages or missed call) is Orange rather than the normal green?
View 1 Replies View RelatedThis botched release of ice cream has taken a lot of time. Support personnel don't know the product. I've been disconnected twice from Motorola personnel. That's an old trick - hang up on the customer in mid-sentence - pretend it's a phone problem - don't call back.
I've figured out most of the goop. The last problem I have is that I do get the green notification light for text messages but it's gone for e-mails. Does anyone know how to get the light back?
Motorola, you did a poor job with this release. Support personnel don't know the product and you are way understaffed to handle all the calls.
I get a flashing blue or green light in the upper right hand corner of my phone, next to the proximity sensor. Does anyone know what the notifications are for? I know its for a new message but what color is for what message? I looked all over the user guide but it doesn't tell me which color is for which notification. The colors don't seem to be consistent with the new messages I get.

View 15 Replies View RelatedAs usual, went to look at phone, BSOD, green blinking light. Battery pull, reboot. Don't know why the green light was blinking, there were no new messages, on the phone after the reboot. Ok, now after the reboot I had no data connecetion at all now. Took about 10 minutes, I kept playing with the settings and the data finally came back. It was 4G full bars, go figure. Im in Las Vegas not a new fringe area. I can take any issure or bug with this phone except this one, where the phone goes dead and you never know it. I just don't understand. Their actually gonna make me take it on the chin and go buy a different phone.
View 12 Replies View RelatedI realize that not all phones are the same. I have a black and white wallpaper. It has a greenish/yellow tint. The light greys also have this look. I compared the phone to the demo and the demo was somewhat better. Compared to my Bionic is looks like crud. You can definately tell the colors are off. I can't keep this phone if this is how it looks. I will try returning again. Wondering if they had a batch of bad screens?

After this the greenish yellowish LED light starts blinking to tell me its charging. I absolutely hate that light and can't stand it. I'm not talking about the green coverage indicator light, which is different. Is there any way to turn this off completely?

View 4 Replies View RelatedThe feature i miss the most from my droid 2 days is the little indicator light to know that the phone is charging... I realize that light was left off this phone and moved to the caps lock key. But wondering if there was a way of turning in the indicator light when the phone is charging like when i get a notification that i have a text message. My Wifes incredible 2 indiciator light turns red when it is charging and i beleive turns white when it is finished. Its just a lot easier for me to look at my phone and see it is charging vs having to unlock my phone to see if it is charging or see it on the lock screen. Sometimes my charges becomes unplugged and i was always quick to know with the droid 2 that it had happend. vs waking up the next morning with my droid 4 thinking it was charging and nothing all along. Is there a feature i'm missing or is it possible to have this in an upcoming update?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI leave my phone in the dock by my bed and have a timeframe smart action set to turn off all ringers but I can't seem to find a way to turn off the notification light. It gets kind of annoying to wake up to get a drink and see that light flashing because of a new email like a new photon or an email. If I could set a smart action to turn the light off at night that would be excellent.

View 11 Replies View RelatedSince the rollout of 4.0.4 I have had the same issue on both my D4 and RAZRM. When the phone is rebooted, the "Stay Awake" under Developer Options is reset to "on" (box is ticked by default). this is NOT the correct default setting.I thought the issue is related to SystemPanel and perhaps its monitoring function, but anfter uninstall, the problem persisted.I can't figure out which app is causing this, so I thought I would mention the problem again on this Forum in case anyone has had a similar experience, and knows what app/process might be over riding the default settings.I will say it is less of an issue with the RAZRM as I have not had a forced shutdown/reboot since I got the device (D4 reboots were a daily issue).
View 2 Replies View RelatedRegarding the LaptDock 100, when it is plugged into the wall my Razr will charge while plugged into the LapDock. If the LapDock is not plugged into the wall and running off the battery it will not charge my Razr phone, in fact my phone will lose a charge. When I had my Bionic the phone would charge off of the Bionic LapDock if the dock was plugged into the wall or not.

However sometimes when I plug in the charger the status led blinks once but then the charging screen does not start and charging does not start - I have noticed that if I then press the power on button the charging screen starts up and charging commences. Despite checking off this choice the screen shuts off after 10 minutes of inactivity while charging. How can I keep the screen on? I don't want it to sleep until/unless I do it manually.

View 2 Replies View RelatedWhile in landscape mode (I first noticed this while watching Netflix). In the corner near the search capacitive button I noticed the lighting for the capacitive button seeps out a little, like a very small amount. It doesn't overwhelm the screen or anything. When holding my phone upright and looking down towards the capacitive buttons, I do notice some light coming out from the left and right corners. if this is because of the design and is normal? Or is it a flaw in the phone?!
