BB (RIM) :: 8530 Green Blinking Light Gets Solid Red?
Jun 17, 2010Anybody have any idea why my BB 8530's normally green blinking light gets solid red? A battery pull is the only way I've found to get it back to blinking green.

Dec 8, 2012I have followed every advice in regards to this issue on every forum possibe and did a Google search. Phone is brand new, and while charging via the wall outlet a solid green led stays on. Please understand I have done all of the power button configurations possibe and it won't come on.

Apr 24, 2013I don't see any notifications anywhere to clear other than the quick toggles I use. I'm thinking those might be the culprit since they're basically just an omnipresent notification, and the light stops blinking for a time once I pull the notification shade down. Having a constant green light going off? Also, whatever it is could be the same thing that's keeping the CPU awake all the time. It doesn't seem to be affecting battery life too much though.

Dec 15, 2011As usual, went to look at phone, BSOD, green blinking light. Battery pull, reboot. Don't know why the green light was blinking, there were no new messages, on the phone after the reboot. Ok, now after the reboot I had no data connecetion at all now. Took about 10 minutes, I kept playing with the settings and the data finally came back. It was 4G full bars, go figure. Im in Las Vegas not a new fringe area. I can take any issure or bug with this phone except this one, where the phone goes dead and you never know it. I just don't understand. Their actually gonna make me take it on the chin and go buy a different phone.

Sep 4, 2012my phone died this afternoon while I was in the car.... about an hour and a half later, I went to plug it in at home, and the blue LED light came on. I figured maybe my phone was just REALLY dead so I left it. 30 mins later, blue light is still on, but phone won't power up.I unplugged the charger from the wall and did a battery pull. As soon as I put the battery back in my BB, the blue light comes on again. It stays solid and doesn't flash. I still can't turn the phone on.....

Feb 20, 2011Yesterday my Blackberry shut itself off randomly. So straight away i put it on charge, but after about 10 mins nothing came up, only a solid red light indicator in the top right corner of the phone. I have tried EVERYTHING i can find online and nothing seems to be working :'( it only shows red light when on and off charge, my computer wont detect the device and when connected to the pc the solid red light shows up.. but then goes off after about 10 mins!

Jul 25, 2013My phone's battery died and it shut off. So I plugged it in to charge. The charging light just blinks instead of shows up solid (could swear this is solid eventually) and was set on charge for an hour.
It won't turn on now. I'm trying to just at least get it on while charging so I don't miss calls but holding down the power button does nothing.
