My torch 9800 has a green light blinking at the top. This is where the red light normally blinks when I receive a message. What made the light blink green, and how can I get it to stop?

View 6 Replies View RelatedI have Torch 9800 that won't turn on. My 9800 has the latest version of BB OS available (unless there was one released within the last 4 days) The red light only comes on when charged and goes on and off. When plugged into my PC it disconnects from the PC and then reconnects. Sometimes the charging battery symbol comes on and the blackberry loading screen after but the blackberry loading screen shuts off. I have tried a new battery and that is not the issue.
I read that you can do an OS reload but my BB is not showing as connected under my connections (the noise indicates a device has been plugged in)
So I noticed the green and red lights ( talk and end buttons) and the track pad don't light up at night. I believe my Bold used to light up. Have I done something to change in options.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI don't see any notifications anywhere to clear other than the quick toggles I use. I'm thinking those might be the culprit since they're basically just an omnipresent notification, and the light stops blinking for a time once I pull the notification shade down. Having a constant green light going off? Also, whatever it is could be the same thing that's keeping the CPU awake all the time. It doesn't seem to be affecting battery life too much though.

View 3 Replies View RelatedAs usual, went to look at phone, BSOD, green blinking light. Battery pull, reboot. Don't know why the green light was blinking, there were no new messages, on the phone after the reboot. Ok, now after the reboot I had no data connecetion at all now. Took about 10 minutes, I kept playing with the settings and the data finally came back. It was 4G full bars, go figure. Im in Las Vegas not a new fringe area. I can take any issure or bug with this phone except this one, where the phone goes dead and you never know it. I just don't understand. Their actually gonna make me take it on the chin and go buy a different phone.

My blackberry torch 9810, switched off after having a low battery, i put it to charge, but the red light keeps (blink....blink blink blink) but it won't charge nor power up, i have tried connecting it to my pc the pc won't even detect it and the read light keeps blinking.Idid my research at crackberry.com and saw a software update would solve the issue, but i cannot update it using the desktop software because the pc won't recognize it. I tried removing the battery then connecting it to the pc but still its not recognized what could be wrong.

The LED indicator will be lit up for a short period of time, for a total of two times. After that, the system reboots itself. During this problematic process, I cannot use the buttons at all to try to stop it or do something else.I have reinstalled the OS Software and have done a hard reset during the red LED indicates.I don't have warranty becase I have purchase this off my friend after his warranty was over and he got himself another phone.

It is not because of the bluetooth (I leave it off and do not use.) if the message indicator is on it is purple (blue + red). The other colors still work but end up blended with the blue. I have pulled the battery. (obviously it didn't help or I wouldn't be posting this.) I have contacted my carrier for support. No help. They will just replace the phone. My warranty is void and can't afford to buy a new torch. I have turned off everything I can and checked all options. Check the cpu and can not find anything running that shouldn't be.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI had my torch 9800 almost a year now and I woke up saturday morning to find it completely off and it was on charge all night, I've tried taking the battery out and putting it back in. I've also had the battery out for 24 hours and when I put it back in the red light comes on for about 20 seconds (steady not flashing) and the goes off but that's only happened the once other than that I've had no luck. I've left it on charge tried a different battery and it still doesn't work. I've also put by battery in another torch and it works fine.

Even in a completely dark room, when I take the 9800 out of the holster, the screen lights up but the home keys are out.
