But this morning, when I went to unplug it from the charger, the green light was constantly blinking and it didn't take the charge. Jul 9, 2015Put my sim free s6 on charge last night (wireless) as i always do and when i woke up the green led was flashing quite fast.
I went to wake the phone up using home button and nothing, nothing from powerbutton either. Tried holding down powerbutton and have also tried charging manually but still nothing. What was strange also was that i did not get any charging sound when i inserted the cable to try an charge it.
I am pretty sure its charged though...just will not turn on.

Jun 8, 2010I have had my storm for a week now and after restarting to finalise deleting some apps this green flashing LED light came on. But it's not like a coverage indicator where it flashes constantly it flashes 8 times then goes of for about 5 minutes and then flashes again.
So I tried a battery pull to see if it would go away and the green LED did but now the exact same thing is happening except the LED is red (flashes 8 times stops for 5 mins flashes 8 times and so on)

We just got this phone one month ago and this is our second phone with the same problem. Verizon has no clue and just replaces the phone. I can't believe that RIM would sell a device with this many hardware issues. There must be a way to force a reset of the power management system?

I've tried the SIM card in another BB and it works fine in there. I've had it charging both with and without the SIM in for a good few hours and no joy. The LED indicator will be lit up for a short period of time, for a total of two times. After that, the system reboots itself. Sep 15, 2011Torch 9800. My L.E.D light will not turn off. It is blue. It is not flashing. It is not because of the bluetooth (I leave it off and do not use.) if the message indicator is on it is purple (blue + red). The other colors still work but end up blended with the blue. I have pulled the battery. (obviously it didn't help or I wouldn't be posting this.) I have contacted my carrier for support. No help. They will just replace the phone. My warranty is void and can't afford to buy a new torch. I have turned off everything I can and checked all options. Check the cpu and can not find anything running that shouldn't be.

May 30, 2012I have Torch 9800 that won't turn on. My 9800 has the latest version of BB OS available (unless there was one released within the last 4 days) The red light only comes on when charged and goes on and off. When plugged into my PC it disconnects from the PC and then reconnects. Sometimes the charging battery symbol comes on and the blackberry loading screen after but the blackberry loading screen shuts off. I have tried a new battery and that is not the issue.
I read that you can do an OS reload but my BB is not showing as connected under my connections (the noise indicates a device has been plugged in)

Oct 26, 2011I had my torch 9800 almost a year now and I woke up saturday morning to find it completely off and it was on charge all night, I've tried taking the battery out and putting it back in. I've also had the battery out for 24 hours and when I put it back in the red light comes on for about 20 seconds (steady not flashing) and the goes off but that's only happened the once other than that I've had no luck. I've left it on charge tried a different battery and it still doesn't work. I've also put by battery in another torch and it works fine.

Mar 31, 2011All of a sudden my home keys across the bottom of the 9800 do no light up. I checked the backlight settings for display but they had no effect on the home keys. Even in a completely dark room, when I take the 9800 out of the holster, the screen lights up but the home keys are out.
