View 1 RepliesThe phone is about year old.Every time I try to use the high speed camera setting the screen turns blue. The normal videos and pictures dont come out good either.Anyone else have these issues? Any suggestions on how to clean the camera lens?Another issue is I had an Env2 think the vx9200 that had my ringtones and music on a memory card.I put that same card into the Dare and I can't set my sounds as a ringtone. The ones under 30 seconds I can but not the full songs like I could on the Evn. Is there a certain setting or specific way to use sounds for ringtones and alerts?

The Lumia cameras have always given excellent quality, but they are SLOW. I did see in the hands on video with Daniel at the press event that, at least for taking pictures, they were fast! But I want high speed video as well?!
i am using my e52 to connect to the internet through my PC. When i use 3g, everything works. As soon as i enable high speed 3.5g (HSDPA) the following happens:
* I can surf the internet for 1 - 2megs, then it stops working (dns problems)
* Skype continues to work and i can chat and make video calls
* tracert fails after the first hop
I called my service provider thinking there was a problem with the HSDPA network in the area, they send someone out, he tested with a USB modem and it worked well, he also checked all the settings .ect on the phone/pc & left with a confused look on his face. We also swapped SIM cards.checked other things like good signal, latest software patches, drivers?
Iis this possible I saved file from my computer to my Samsung caliber through the usb cable at 9.xx mpbs as it marked using windows vista 64 bit.

View 5 Replies View RelatedOne of the main reasons I bought this phone was for the camera but indoor photo quality seems to be lacking a bit. What settings do I need to have on (or off) in order to take the best quality of pictures possible - for indoor and outdoor? I've played with it some but can't seem to get the right settings together.
View 15 Replies View RelatedI'm not able to connect to 3.5G networks, only 2G (GPRS packet) data connections are possible. I also wonder why I do not have the mentioned menu item in my configuration menu available (like it is stated in the manual p115).I'm subscribed at the German provider O2.Does anyone has an idea about that?

View 13 Replies View RelatedI just got my new galaxy s6 today and so far everything is good but I can't however access camera settings when I go into camera and click settings it crashes and just goes back to where I would take a picture I've already tried restarting the phone and even clearing cache and my phone is up to date.
View 3 Replies View RelatedIs there any way we can save our settings on the camera app once we close it? It keeps coming back to default settings once i quit the app and re-launch it. I need to re-adjust again especially the mode, ISO, metering mode. etc,
If not, any alternative app which can fiddle with ISO settings?
All manuals refer to the cogwheel on the main camera screen for all the settings and indeed on all sites I see such a cogwheel on the pics..However, I don't have one on my brand new S5....
View 14 Replies View RelatedI open the camera on the Galaxy S6 Edge by pressing the camera icon. The camera screen appears, and at the top of the camera screen is the settings gearwheel icon along with Auto, Off, HDR On and Effect. But, when tapping the settings gearwheel icon the Camera Settings menu appears for a fraction of a second before the screen reverts. I can't get at the Camera Settings no matter how many times I try; the menu is on for an instant - then gone, and the screen is as before.

View 7 Replies View RelatedI just got my Galaxy S6 on Monday.
I've noticed that the front facing camera on my S6 will not focus on my face if I try to take a picture. The rear camera is wonderful, and I've looked at the front camera on a friend's S6 and it was fine. So it just seems to be my phone. Otherwise, I love it and think it's great.
But what's the deal with my blurry front camera?
Just got S5 and got everything activated and synced. Went to take a picture and it comes up camera failed. I've Googled without much luck. Done everything short of a factory reset that I can think of, which is not much.

View 6 Replies View RelatedS6 has amazing ois built-in, but their "software" stabilization is absolute nightmare
It will make your video wobble like crazy no matter what you do.
It kills me that a lot of people don't know this and end up trashing s6's video taking capability because of that
Once it's turned off the video becomes very very smooth and undoubtedly takes best vid in the market right now...
I just got my S5 and I am trying to set things up. Can some one tell me how to find Picture Stabilization in the camera settings? From what I have read its best to turn this off to take quicker shot. The problem is I cant find that in the settings section.
View 4 Replies View RelatedIn the past, before iOS4, I was able to assign hi - res picture to my contacts. When someone called, the large picture would show up,not the little pic in the top right corner of the screen.Yes,I am using the Google sync/exchange.But I also know that assigning a picture to a contact on the iPhone will use that picture and it will be hi - res. Now,after iOS4,its 50 - 50.I've assigned a picture to my wife. And the picture is hi - res. When she calls I get the large picture. But assigning a picture to my son, its resized so when he calls I only get the small picture and is a low - res version of what I assigned.I haven't changed any settings in Google either. So what might make some pictures show up correctly, and others not?Any ideas or anyone else experiencing this as well?

I can't relate the problem to anything I've set on the phone. . a Spring Galaxy S5

View 2 Replies View RelatedI got the s6 edge today. Was playing with the camera indoors and comparing to the iPhone 6 and came across a huge problem. In low light the Samsung is over saturating the rug and floor and getting no detail. It is smoothing the image out horribly while the iPhone looks natural. If looks like the rug is getting the beauty feature applied. In light it is great but this is just embarrassing.
