I just got my S5 and I am trying to set things up. Can some one tell me how to find Picture Stabilization in the camera settings? From what I have read its best to turn this off to take quicker shot. The problem is I cant find that in the settings section.

S6 has amazing ois built-in, but their "software" stabilization is absolute nightmare
It will make your video wobble like crazy no matter what you do.
It kills me that a lot of people don't know this and end up trashing s6's video taking capability because of that
Once it's turned off the video becomes very very smooth and undoubtedly takes best vid in the market right now...
Turn off picture stabilization. In the camera app select the gear (settings) and turn off picture stabilization.

Now I'm having trouble syncing the GSII with Outlook on my PC as I want.fter the last sync, I find that the contacts on the PC have all duplicated (2 of everything), and the contacts on the phone have all been removed.When I first set up Kies there were options to determine how priorities on new/changed contact records on phone and PC should be resolved. -The phone can't take screenshots
-I can't seem to find the fingerprint scanner in the settings menu
- the phone is saying I have no space left on the internal memory although I have only got a few apps
- can't find out how to use swype
I have used an s2 n s3 before this so I know my way around touchwiz a bit. The phone has USB 3 n some of the Samsung apps. It also says its an s5 in the 'about phone ' section.

All manuals refer to the cogwheel on the main camera screen for all the settings and indeed on all sites I see such a cogwheel on the pics..However, I don't have one on my brand new S5....

The camera screen appears, and at the top of the camera screen is the settings gearwheel icon along with Auto, Off, HDR On and Effect.But, when tapping the settings gearwheel icon the Camera Settings menu appears for a fraction of a second before the screen reverts. I can't get at the Camera Settings no matter how many times I try; the menu is on for an instant - then gone, and the screen is as before.

I've noticed that the front facing camera on my S6 will not focus on my face if I try to take a picture. The rear camera is wonderful, and I've looked at the front camera on a friend's S6 and it was fine. So it just seems to be my phone. Otherwise, I love it and think it's great.
But what's the deal with my blurry front camera?
