May 25, 2010I bought N86 8MP last week , every things work fine but i have a small trouble when i capture the photos , the green rectangular Box (Autofocus ) appear , then i pressed the capture button but still can't snap the picture. No freez or hang when capture.
Can some one help me how can i capture the photos without Autofoucs, this feature very bore!I need just one click on the capture button to get my photos.

THe capture key is only key that I could use to capture an image on my phone. Now I can't use the camera of my phone anymore. Is there any other key or way so I could still capture an image on my phone?or do i have to buy that tiny spare part just so i can still use the camera of my phone?

I'm not sure if it's a hardware or software issue, but whenever I press the button to take a picture, I end up with a short 2-3 second video instead. The setting for "hold camera button" is disabled, not det to photo bursts or video. The camera icon on screen works fine, but having a dedicated camera button was a huge game changer for me.

Sep 25, 2015I sent my 3 day old mobile into Virgin Media for a loose home button (doesn't register clicks properly) and was called today to say it would cost 200 to fix as the phone has been rooted and this voids warranty. Initially they agreed a door swap as I was within 14 days, and then phoned a day later to say it had to be sent for repair instead.
Yes, KNOX is tripped but I've read many reports in the UK warranty should still be covered. I've asked for the handset to be returned. It was returned to stock via Odin before sending in, so it's the Knox trip they're hedging this on.

Nokia :: 5233 Picture / Video Capture Error
Mar 22, 2010I am facing a problem when I capture a picture/video with my new Nokia 5233 phone I bought yesterday.
1. When I try to capture a video, nothing is visible on the phone screen. I click on Record button and the shooting starts and then I click on it again and it stops. But I when it tries save the video it gives an error "Unexpected error occurred. Please restart your phone".
2. I reboot the phone. But I face the same problem. I face the same problem while capturing pictures.
I have tried following as a measure to solve the problem but no success till now:
1. Reboot the phone: tried it more than 20 times. Does not work
2. Soft Restart: Removed the battery for 1 minute and powered the phone back. Does not work
3. Restore Factory Settings: Restored the phone to factory settings. Does not work.
4. I checked my firmware version. Its 12.1.089, RM-625. I think no firmware upgrade is available at present
Please advise what steps should I follow to cure the problem.Please also let me know in case you are facing a similar problem with your device.

Jun 16, 2014In other phone cameras you just tapped the screen where you wanted it to focus and the camera would expose properly for that subject. This is particularly important if the subject is backlit. Not so the camera in the S5 it seems. It will focus on the desired object with a simple tap but the overall exposure is still for the overall frame leaving the intended subject terribly underexposed.
