Jan 20, 2012Somehow all of my homepage icons are doubled into my apps section screens. How to remove them?

Galaxy S6 :: Icons Disappeared From Home Page?
Jul 22, 2015I was using my phone earlier, everything was fine. I looked at it later, all my folders and icons are gone from my home page. The only thing on the page are the four things on the bottom. Phone, Chrome, Contacts and apps. I can get to everything from the app drawer, should be a simple matter to repopulate my home page. I've restarted my phone several times. I've both just restarted, and shut down, then restarted. All of my history seems to still be in the apps, I.e my email accts are signed in, my s-health history is there. The only thing that's changed are the icons have vanished from my home page. Phone is bone stock

Jun 9, 2011i've had my S2 for about a month now and have noticed over the last week , how slow it is to return to the home page. This is returning from anything whether that be from an application or messaging or just going into the settings. I've timed it today and it takes 7 seconds to return. It doesnt matter whether i use the home button or use the back button , it still takes ages. When moving between other screens, the phone is its normal fast speed its just when it returns back to the home page.

Mar 21, 2011I have 2 blackberry curve 8520 phones. Usually when there are new notifications on facebook or when I have a new email it is displayed on top of the home screen. On the one phone, I have a notification for facebook which I have already checked out, but the notification won't go away. On the other phone, there is an icon that looks a lot like the "earth" on the email icon. I have searched all over this phone - email messages, BBM messages and updates etc.

Mar 21, 2010I'm only new here so play nice! I got a new E52 last week. Problem is there is 2 icons on the home screen that I can't get rid of. One is a flashing mail icon ( I used to get this when my E51 inbox was full) and the other is showing the icon that a mail was pending being sent - ie in my outbox. And I also tried Dropbox in new galaxy s5, all the photos are doubled. one is original and other one's are duplicate (few Kb's). I had around 900 photos from iPhone to new galaxy s5, but in Dropbox- total photos are around 1700. Is there anyway I can delete duplicate one's easily.
secondly, drop-box setting is "sync via WI-fi". even if i don't click any new picture or video, its still backing up every-time. at one point it says" up to date" after few hours it syncing again.
Lumia 950 XL :: Duplicated App Icons - Cannot Delete The One
Dec 18, 2015Tried search, but could not find same issue. Just finished reinstalling my 950 XL from backup, now I see the Lumia tips app have two icons, one is working with the right icon, the other does not work.
I can select to delete them both, but only the one with the icon actually deletes, the other is just "stuck" if I click the icon nothing really happens.
Galaxy S6 :: 10 Second Delay To Do Google Search On Home Page
Jun 2, 2015When I press microphone to do google search on home page--sometimes 10 second delay.
On S6 I notice whether at home with wifi or out with only cell data, that when I press the mic icon to do a google voice search I will see a white screen for up to 10+ seconds until the word "Listening" pops up.
It is as if it cannot connect to the service to perform the voice search immediately. Once it does connect, I can perform a web voice search with absolutely no delay...
Under running apps, Google App is of course running. I did disable these apps but not sure any would make a difference-except perhaps Cloud???
Note: I am not syncing Gmail or using a Google Email account for contacts, email, etc..

Nov 26, 2014Seems Touch-Wiz on 4.4.2 has taken away this feature. On my Samsung Galaxy S4 Active I could use Any Cut to create a short cut, and while Any Cut still has limited functionality on 4.4.2 it no longer shows Playlists. Just trying to create a shortcut to a playlist, so I do not have to navigate through multiple screens to start the playlist I want to play.

Mar 19, 2012For reasons unknown, after shutting off my phone (I suppose it was a forced shutoff, since the webpage I was viewing had frozen), my Galaxy SII now refuses to go past the splash page/start-up screen, that says "SAMSUNG GALAXY SII". The text will display for about 5 seconds, then the screen will go black for about five seconds, then it will redisplay the text for five seconds, in a never-ending loop.
The phone will charge, and if I turn it off then plug it in I get the standard picture of a charging battery. If I plug the phone in my laptop, the laptop does not recognize that it is plugged in, though the phone does charge.
I've tried getting access to the recovery menu, but I can't seem to get to it - once I push the power button, it enters the splash page loop. The only thing that will end the loop is removing the battery.
I have no idea what I've done to force it into this loop, but it's extremely inconvenient.
