May 21, 2015Is there a way to have a notification not show up on the lockscreen but have the icon show in the status bar? All I can find is to either block the notification entirely or hide the content on the lockscreen.

Feb 6, 2015I updated my Samsung Galaxy S5 to Lollipop 5.0, and now when my screen is locked, the Verizon Wireless logo is in the upper left corner. I didn't mind it until I realized that I can no longer view any notification icons for texts, email, missed calls, etc. when my phone is locked. It's annoying to have to unlock my phone just to see if I have any notifications.how to move the logo somewhere else on the locked screen?

Dec 8, 2011I have had several occasions on turning on my AT&T Galaxy S2 phone where all 7 of my screens were blank except for the 4 icons at the bottom. In fact, every screen had a message in the middle saying to drag items to add them to the screen, like it was *supposed* to be blank. Before today, turning the phone off and on again resolved this.In fact, when I clicked on the Applications icon at the bottom, got nothing but a spinning circle. After a minute or two, I pulled the battery, returned it, and powered up again. This time, everything is again normal. But I am concerned. This phone is just 5 weeks old.

Apr 21, 2015My Verizon Lg G3 (VS98523C) just recently received the 5.0.1 update and I'm noticing that when I swipe down the notications panel, it's the same as before (I'd heard I would have to swipe down twice or with two fingers).
Also, my lockscreen is the same as before. Yes, I get the new style notifications but I'm also able to put widgets on it (I read that was gone). And, when there is a notification on my lockscreen, and I tap it to get to that info, I'm then asked to swipe the whole screen again.
Did I not get the full update?
Galaxy S5 :: Notification Access Getting Reset
Jun 8, 2015Lately, I've noticed where application access to notifications (like Pebble or Android Auto) keeps getting reset on a restart or an "undock" like a car app. With each use, I have to go into Settings > Sound and Notification > Notification access and manually check all the apps that need notification access.
This is common mostly on Galaxy S4 phones running Lollipop. In that specific case it seems to be related to a bug with the GlanceViewMK process.
However, this process doesn't seem to exist with the Galaxy S5.
Here are the details of my set up:
VZW Galaxy S5 (SM-G900V)
Android 5.0 (OC4 revision)

Nov 15, 2015All I want is "peeking" and the lockscreen notifications to work! Isn't this part of Marshmallow? Notifications to be not working/ inconsistent? What I am looking for is to have the screen turn on with every notification...this phone is either sitting on my desk or in a car holder most of the time, so I want to see the notifications without having to handle the phone. I've tried some 3rd party heads-up notification apps that work pretty good, but I am having issues with the lock screen (sometimes I have to enter and pin AND use the fingerprint scanner, which is a bit much to just access the phone).
1. I seldom get peeking notifications even though "peeking" is selected. With some apps, peeking works sometimes and not others. I have never seen a Peek notification for gmail.
2. I find the notifications seldom turn the screen on, even though I have the ambient screen turned on. Perhaps this has something to do with problem 1.
Motorola Droid Razr :: Notification Bar Gone On Lockscreen
Sep 30, 2012It's not consistent, but the notification bar is gone on the lockscreen when I power on the phone. If I unlock, the bar comes down, but only after several seconds. It seems to only happen when I have a paused application there, but I usually do with my podcast player, BeyondPod, though it happens with other apps, like the Google Player app. How do I always have the notification bar there? When it's there, I can pull it down to do things even with the phone locked, so I don't see why it should randomly disappear.

Oct 22, 2012I recently installed a 32GB SD card to my Galaxy SII and moved most movable apps to it. However, now I need to copy some stuff from my PC to the 'internal' SD card and I can't connect to it.
I do the regular 'USB utilites -> Connect storage to PC' routine, but all I get on the PC is the external card.
How can I access the 'internal' SD card without physically removing the external one? BTW, I'm on official, non-rooted ICS 4.0.4.

For some reason i cannot connect to the mobile internet when the connection is showing 3g. It will only connect when it is showing H or H+.
Also for some strange reason, the internet connection wont work at all if i havent used it for a few hours. To get back internet you have to go to flight mode and back or switch off and on to get back online.
