Lately, I've noticed where application access to notifications (like Pebble or Android Auto) keeps getting reset on a restart or an "undock" like a car app. With each use, I have to go into Settings > Sound and Notification > Notification access and manually check all the apps that need notification access.
This is common mostly on Galaxy S4 phones running Lollipop. In that specific case it seems to be related to a bug with the GlanceViewMK process.
However, this process doesn't seem to exist with the Galaxy S5.

I recently reset my Apple ID to a current email because I no longer used my old ID email. I know that this can cause problems with apps and such, but I can't even use my phone. It keeps asking for the password to my old ID email, which is futile. I can get it wrong a few times and reset the password while using my new ID in the reset, but then it just keeps going back to asking for the password to the old email address.
My new Sony Xperia Z5 was auto Reset to Factory setting without any notification.
I bought this phone on 24 Dec lat year, within this 16 days, it was auto reset twice. I was busy on transfer data after it auto reset and all the picture that I took in this phone was gone.I am predicting that the phone will reset again on 14 Jan...
I just replaced my Blackberry Torch 9800 with an identical device. There is a User name and Password needed to access e-mail settings.
My device prev iously remembered the User Name and Password (e.g., when I had to synchronize my e-mail whenever the password for the e-mail account changed) but now that the device has been replaced, it is now asking for this information which I have misplaced. Is there an easy way to re-set this password?
I do not remember the User name either (it says the password can be sent to the device if the correct User name is provided). Unfortunately right now I cannot access any e-mail on the device.
i can't access the notification bar in the lock screen ,as it is instructed in the video (the one on the ics sonyericsson page) ,i can only pause and play songs in the lock screen ,is it because i am using the face unlock feature?
My BB9300 curve runs with OS5, and I'musing airtel India carrier. I don't have BIS plan,I'm using normal gprs plan to run third partyapps like opera and whatsapp.These apps works well with gprs, but theproblem is, it suddenly stops working sayingthat no internet connection is available. Then tofix this I've 2 do a battery pull(hard reset) everytime.I've also upgraded to OS6, but the above problem still remains. In my observation this problem is maximum whenever I'm travelling and where the network connection will disconnect and reconnect frequently.
I am having trouble with my SMS messages. I get a notification near the top of my screen but cannot access the actual message Nothing appears by the envelope icon.
My iphone shows that I have a voice mail but when I touch it I cannot access the message. I am fully charged and have full strength. The little triangle will not switch to two lines. It just stays with the little triangle?
I am having an issue with my S5 ever since I got it. Multiple times throughout the day, I hear a notification sound (like I have a text message) but there is no notification of any sort what so ever whenever I review my phone.
I did not have the issue on my GS4, and I pretty much have all the same apps installed.
I've forgot the screenlock pin of my Sony Xperia Z2, the smartphone is stock so i don't have the bootloader unlocked so i can't go in recovery mode.
From Sony PC Companion i can't do nothing because i must unlock the phone.
From Flashtool i can't do nothing because i have USB Debug Mode set to OFF and i can't enable it if i can't unlock the smartphone. Otherwise if I can set the phone in Flashmode or Fastboot Mode.
I have validated my account before but cannot remember the password this time. Blackberry Curve 9330 - 6.0 Bundle 3084 (v6.0.0.719 Plateform 4.4.0.560) Need to know how to reset/retrieve my password word so I can gain access to validate my email account.
I love the Toast notifications on my Icon, which has Windows 8.1 through Verizon. The only problem is that they only display for a few seconds and they usually vanish before I can get to the phone to see what the notification was, and as far as I can tell, there's no way to pull up a list of old notifications. So I'm wondering if there's any way to make these notifications display longer. Right now, they seem to be about five seconds and they're gone. I'd like to extend that to at least ten seconds. And is there any way to pull up a list of old notifications so I can see what I might have missed when I was away from my phone?
Any app that brings down the notifications by clicking on an icon rather than reaching to the top of the screen? I have always used an app called Drop Down Status Bar on my previous Android phones but for some reason it doesn't work on the GS6, so I am looking for something new. I can't find anything in the Play Store with the descriptions I have tried.
i was on facebook and my s6 just randomly shut of and now all I get a a black screen with the galaxy s6 on the screen. I just purchased this phone back in September.
Walked in to see my phone on the last stage of rebooting, the vzw screen. This is the second time this has done this. Have not installed any new apps since the last update.
For some reason, the talkback service has decided to tell me it is activated even though it is not. I have a persistent notification that won't go away. Since it's a system service, there is no way to just hide the notification. Â Attached Thumbnails...
I'm using the S6 on stock rom (Android 5.1.1.). However, none of the LED changer apps is working. Tried light flow, LED Blinker, Light Manager.I enabled LED lights under android settings, gave each of the apps the necessary rights, even priorities. None of it worked.Light Flow - > Messenger app color is not changeable, all others are (but somethings they don't work either)LED Blinker & Light Manager -> dont work at all
What this is supposed to indicate? It seems to come on once in a while for no apparent reason. As far as I can tell it is not an indication that I have a text or email nor is it telling me that I have a missed call or voice mail. My battery is over 50% so it's not a "low battery" notification either.
My LED blinks blue for email, texts, voice mail and turns red when I charge the phone. It turns green when it's fully charged. What this pink LED is telling me.
My cell phone Samsung 6 . Every 2 minutes notification sound. How do I get rid of it. I turned off all apps in my cell phone including putting in vibration and it is going off. What should I do to make it stop?
Last night my phone started notifying me of SMS messages by a new pop up at the bottom of my screen. I use Hangouts and couldn't find anything in the settings in there so I switched over the the standard android messaging. I turned off all notifications and the pop up still was coming every time I received a message. This almost appears like is a system notification, since it is the same style as other pop ups. (ie: "copied to clipboard" when you take a screenshot) I have attempted to attach a screen shot of the notification. Hopefully it worked. How to disable this notification? Nothing has worked yet.
The Setup doesn't mention it, even in search..I know good and well though, there is a setting for it somewhere.I can always pull down the notification panel to see if 4g is available, but having it displayed at the top all the time is better.
