My iphone shows that I have a voice mail but when I touch it I cannot access the message. I am fully charged and have full strength. The little triangle will not switch to two lines. It just stays with the little triangle?

Is there a function that I can clear all unread messages. I have a new message alert shown on the app but I could not find any new message inside. Have looked through 3 months messages.

My husband and I both got the 9700 this past weekend. Mine works great but unfortunately, his voicemail notification does not work. We've tried adding visual voicemail, removing visual voicemail, adding it again, removing it again, resetting to network with Customer Care. My husband doesn't even care about VVM. He just needs regular voicemail notification. And yes, the voicemail works properly and the notification has worked perfectly fine through the years on his 8900, his old 8320, his old Pearl, etc.
Yesterday I called Customer Care and the CSR rep said all we had to do was go to the home screen --> hit menu --> scroll and click on messages --> hit menu --> scroll and click on voicemail setup --> scroll to notifications --> choose ON, then save or done. Sounds simple enough. Unfortunately, when I followed his steps and went to the home screen and hit menu, there is no "messages" in the menu. If I go to the messages icon, I can get to message alerts for all messages but there is no voicemail setup.
Using a curve 9360, Vodafone. When receiving SMS, no alert sounds or icon shows, although SMS is actually received. On the home screen there is no SMS icon, only way to read is via Messages then options list..view folder..SMS inbox. How do I get SMS arrived alert, and SMS icon on home screen?

I switched SIMs on my 9300 the other day and I recieved a new text message on it which I read & deleted...I then put in my old SIM and the alert at the top of the screen (envelope with 1) that notifies you when you have a new message was still there!I have deleted all messages, emails, checked all folders, saved folders, rebooted (several hundred times!) yet the notification is still there.

View 8 Replies View RelatedI recieved a call about two weeks ago. It was an incoming call, I answered, the call lasted about 10 minutes, and I wrote down the number to call them back. I must have written the number down incorrectly because it does not reach him. In the Phone app, under Recents, it shows a list of recent calls. However, I receive a lot of calls so that call is already no longer listed, it only lists back about a week. Is there some way that I can still access the number that called me two weeks ago? Would the number be saved anywhere that I can access? I have no other means of contacting him.

I just noticed in my 3gs that once I am in the message thread and the same person replies to my message, the default message tone saved in my setings is not played, instead, it is only like a "balloon sound" / "bubble sound"

I am having an Empty message (not Blank Message). It takes up the space of a text message but the recipient name or the message is not shown in inbox. When I tried to Open the message it said 'Unsupported message type'. This message is not even getting deleted saying 'Error occurred. Deletion not completed'. I got this problem already Twice. What happened further is, After sometimes more of such msgs starts to appear, and then suddenly all saved messages will get deleted.
Then all the applications (including basic applications like calculator) will get deleted. I gave to Nokia service centre. They just said it could be virus so they got my mobile, gave back (installing the software again I guess, I don't think they Cleaned Virus as told by them) and told me to use memory card after scanning. I scanned the card with the top antivirus - with up to date virus database. So I am very much sure there is no virus in my Memory card.
Have had the 9650 for a week, so far so good. Does anyone know if there is a way to get an audible alert and a notice to my messages that a voicemail is waiting ? I believe my curve used to do this. Not looking for the app you can buy re: missed calls.....just if there is a voicemail waiting.

It even does it in "vibrate" mode. When I go to the options menu I get alert sounds for email, level 1, PIN and text. How do I turn off voice mail notification?

Now all I get is the little voicemail icon at the top of my screen but no sound or vibration or anything. I have my phone set to Push and Fetch for manual check to help conserve battery, and when I check, I will see the email come in, but no notification sound/vibrate. Even on fetch it does it. And from appx. 5 mins and on I will finally hear the notification ding or vibrate. I called apple care- they walked me through resetting all network settings.. that did not work, I also restore my phone.. and that did not work..

I went to Sprint they told me it was Apple's fault. They claim they are waiting for a 'fix' from Apple. This is a known problem with the voicemail that extends across all carriers.

I've got the phone z3+ dual e6533 recently, after I install CWM Helium, it configuration the MTP option to SDCARD, then how i can change that option after that. No matter in the storage setting or the usb connectivity setting, i can't find a hope.No USB icon and notification is shown, when i tell it to install software on computer, it change to MTP for that time with the notification,but no reaction when I tap the notification.

On bbm I keep getting an incoming bbm instant message alert/sound while im typing a message. The alert/sound only appears for incoming bbm messages when I'm typing on bbm. the alert/sound is different than the sound that I set on the profile menu and the volume is much bigger. Can I deactivate this alert/sound?
