No Internet Access On Motorola Xoom
Jun 10, 2012I have a Motorola Xoom and I have just upgraded to ICS 4.0.4, prior to this I didn't have any problems accessing my wireless router...Netgear WGR614V6....but since the upgrade I've tried everything and I can't get Internet access. I go to settings and click on "Wireless" (You can see that it sees it amongst the list of Routers) and it shows that it is protected by the encryption "PSA-PSK". I put in the password and it goes through the motions but it doesn't connect. It shows that it is looking for an IP address but then it doesn't pass the authentication. I have even tried "WEP" but to no avail. Has anyone had this problem..is there a fix or do I have to go back to "HoneyComb".

Oct 12, 2012Recently i moved to Saudi for a project related work and I am staying in an apartment where they provide the wifi. first 2 days I was able to connect to the wifi and internet was working fine. After that my phone will detect the wifi in my room and it will connect to the wifi, but no internet access. And the same time it is working fine with the wifi in my office. So i did the Factory data reset, but still its not working. My friends are using different android phones and they are able to access the internet, even I can use my laptop to connect to the wifi.

May 19, 2011I'm trying to find the best option for mobile internet access for my Xoom.I've ordered the D-Link DAP350 to be able to get wifi from wired internet, but am looking for a router that will accept an onlocked 3.5G modem. So, I looked at the CNet CQR-981 that will accept a USB modem (which the DAP350 apparently does not)The problem as I see it is that they all need some form of setting up/driver, and those will not be available for Andriod-or am I missing something? BTW, I've tried tethering my Xoom to my Nokia N8 both with wifi and BT.

I'd like to continue using my Blackberry Bold 9000 as a free wi-fi only internet access device and install the Google Voice app so my kids could text message and make phone calls via the Google Voice app and phone's wi-fi connection. While my BB Bold is able to connect to our home wi-fi network like in the past it doesn't successfully connect to the internet and gives me the following message: "Unable to connect to the internet, please try again later."

Jun 8, 2015Lately, I've noticed where application access to notifications (like Pebble or Android Auto) keeps getting reset on a restart or an "undock" like a car app. With each use, I have to go into Settings > Sound and Notification > Notification access and manually check all the apps that need notification access.
This is common mostly on Galaxy S4 phones running Lollipop. In that specific case it seems to be related to a bug with the GlanceViewMK process.
However, this process doesn't seem to exist with the Galaxy S5.
Here are the details of my set up:

Jun 19, 2014I recently reset my Apple ID to a current email because I no longer used my old ID email. I know that this can cause problems with apps and such, but I can't even use my phone. It keeps asking for the password to my old ID email, which is futile. I can get it wrong a few times and reset the password while using my new ID in the reset, but then it just keeps going back to asking for the password to the old email address.

Apr 16, 2012I just replaced my Blackberry Torch 9800 with an identical device. There is a User name and Password needed to access e-mail settings.
My device prev iously remembered the User Name and Password (e.g., when I had to synchronize my e-mail whenever the password for the e-mail account changed) but now that the device has been replaced, it is now asking for this information which I have misplaced. Is there an easy way to re-set this password?
I do not remember the User name either (it says the password can be sent to the device if the correct User name is provided). Unfortunately right now I cannot access any e-mail on the device.

I don't have BIS plan,I'm using normal gprs plan to run third partyapps like opera and whatsapp.These apps works well with gprs, but theproblem is, it suddenly stops working sayingthat no internet connection is available. Then tofix this I've 2 do a battery pull(hard reset) everytime.I've also upgraded to OS6, but the above problem still remains. In my observation this problem is maximum whenever I'm travelling and where the network connection will disconnect and reconnect frequently.

May 3, 2010I have a Nokia E63 on 3, it reports its symbian software version as 200.21.012. My wireless router is a Netgear DG834PN. It has a WPA2-PSK key code set up, and my laptop works fine with the wireless. It is set up to use DHCP, has MAC address filtering turned OFF. The network is public (not set to hidden). If i try to connect my nokia E63 to the wireless then when i try to access the internet, it gives an error stating ' no gateway reply'. Power Saving is disabled. I have tried setting the IP address manually and still it gives the error. I have also tried re-setting the router, to no avail. The only way i got it to work was by disabling all security on the router (making it an open network) which, whilst this is fine for testing, i do not want to run it as an open network, it must run with WPA2-PSK security.
