I have used several Android phone with the standard "Google internet browser" and I used to have access to my history which very useful!
But on the Atrix I can't find it.
I only have access to an option to erase the history...
When I clean up browser history, the download file is not deleted. How do I access that file so that I can delete the content?

Now it can't access the Internet and when I connect the USB cable it doesn't recognise the connection however, it does show the phone as recharging. Does anyone know if there is a problem with the upgrade or is unique to my service provider (Telstra) in Australia?

1. I browse to a blog page.
2. select Google from bookmarks.
3. clear history from browser while on the Google page pressing the upper right corner icon.
4. open browser settings, clear history and cache.
5. press the back key and I'm back to the blog page.If I reboot the phone, the history is effectively cleared.
Over the past two days I have not been able to access my brower (8520 curve), can someone please explain why? I can enter a www address but it just reads "loading", the little black box in the top right corner flashes then stops, disappears and nothing else happens. I end up closing it the browser down.

I have the atrix and after trying to close web page down the way forum suggest its still not closing down. The page where I booked a hotel room is still open on the widget. If I try to go back it says its possible to recharge my card. The widget still up on my home page. you click on it and the hotel browser pops right back up.

View 1 Replies View RelatedBasically chrome as you all know came uninstalled on my device, meaning that without root, I cant uninstall it. In chrome, If I navigate to the chrome history page, there is a button at the bottom which says "Clear Browsing Data...". If I click on that and tick all the checkboxes, upon clicking clean, it appears to work. chrome://cache is empty.
However, if I then navigate back to history, all my websites are still listed, the history hasn't been removed. I have tried uninstalling the updates and it happens both in V35 &V36 of the chrome browser. The only way I have found to remove the history is to go to the app info in the settings app and click clear cache.

wife's Atrix's browser has a white square on top of the screen whenever she opens the browser. I tried to move it but it won't move. It doesn't respond when I pinch my fingers together to zoom out. This happens only with the browser. I can se some part of the webpages on the upper part of the screen and some on the lower part.But the middle is covered by that square.

I would like to add my pictures from my old Captivate to my new Atrix 2 but I can't. I only have a 2G SD card, which has been fine for years since I save pictures to the phone's memory and do a back up periodically. So how do I put my old pictures on the phone, not the SD card? I have tried the USB, MotoLink (which I found out isn't compatible yet), and Phone Portal...nothing. Firefox settings issues - can't access websites when docked
My motorola atrix has a wi fi connection , is docked and linked to tv using hdmi dock, bluetooth activated wireless mousse and keyboard all work but cannot connect to any websites - comes up with can't connect or find server message. only thing i haven't tried is to do with the firewall settings, proxy , vpn, etc ....I do not know what any of them are

Does it have to have a specific name or something? I was able to put music, photo's and apps on it and can browse the folders just fine so why cant the portal see it?
