Whenever I try to access my web browser on my Motorola Electrify the screen will switch to horizontal mode even if I am holding the phone vertically. I don't want to have to reset my whole phone.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI have tried to synchronize my Aino for several times with Outlook. It worked last time, now the process is being interrupted. I did several attemps to synchronize, but in the middle of the proceess, the PC Suite all of a sudden switches from PC mode to USB mode. It looks as if the Aino had just been connected, but I haven't touched the Aino, the cable, or the computer.

I have the sleep policy set to never and it still will only show the 4 bars for cell tower and that's it. After waking it up from sleep and giving it some time, it will reconnect to either 3g or to wireless. What do I have set wrong that it won't keep a connection in sleep mode?

System version is 64.1.22.A953.Retail.en.GB No problem for the first few days but since then the screen switches off randomly (that new CRT-style shutdown, very cute). I can be viewing Google Maps, or using the camera, or browsing the web...doesn't seem to be a single trigger. The screen turns off and if I switch it back on quickly it will switch off again; if I wait a few seconds and switch on then it stops freaking out and the screen stays on.I've been using Cloudskipper and WinAmp with the lockscreen features enabled (since the stock music player on Milestone2 doesn't show up on the lockscreen). Could these be the culprits - is there something unstable in 2.3's lock-screen?Screen timeout and security timeout are set to 60 minutes.

View 4 Replies View Relatedmy Nokia Web Browser after the site is completely loaded the broswer goes into full screen view mode and doesn't get back to its normal mode making it impossible for me to exit it manually which makes me yurn off my phone and then exit. Douple tapping doesn't help I have tried that it zooms in the and zooms out nothing else.

Actually it will rotate the first time it's used after restarting the phone but any time I use it after that it is stuck in portrait mode. This seems to be new as of today but not sure.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI recently bought an n86 and I am having persistent connectivity/wifi problems. Currently my biggest problem seems to be that while I can connect to the correct wireless router and bring up a first link on the web browser - whenever I try and link to another page the phone instantly tries to connnect through my phone provider (AT&T) and gives no other options.It is really strange.
Another strange thing is that I have set Internet connectivity priorities with my phone provider being last in the list however I am unable to use the 'change priorities' menu - instead I have to move the access point to one of the other destinations (like WAP Services), then, go to WAP Services and move it back to Internet so that it appears last in the list.Has anyone had similiar experiences?
Does anybody know how I keep all of my past appointments on the Electrify? I check my google calendar which is syncing fine and see all of my past appointements, however they are gone from the phone. Additionally, even though my google calendar is scheduled out for the entire year, my phone calendar stops at December 15th, 2012.

I've tranferred the files to both Mac and PC and neither have worked. View 2 Replies View RelatedIam a Uscc agent and I have a customer with the electrify and their phone is dying within a couple of hours and only sending a couple of text messages and making one phone call I have given a battery swap and checked the phone for any bad apps but there were no additional applications installed and settings do not seem out of place and compared it to mine that I have abd everything matches and mine lasts me an entire day of heavy use. I am just wondering if there is anything else that could be draining the battery or a way to fix it?

View 1 Replies View RelatedPreviously when I connected my phone to my computer via USB, I would get a Motorola screen on my desktop inviting me to sync my music, photos, etc. I would be offered the choice to sync using Windows Media Player or iTunes. That screen has stopped appearing when I connect via USB. What happened to it? I uninstalled and reinstalled Motocast, no luck there.I have found this Motorola sync program pretty creaky compared to iTunes. Would I be happier using another program altogether (Winamp? something like that?) to manage my music, podcasts, etc?
View 6 Replies View RelatedJust got my Electrify Friday, and so far I have dropped just about every call I have made with it. The screen doesn't turn off during calls and I am either pushing every button and trying to conference in the Moon, or I hang up.
I've turned on and off the pocket mode, I've rebooted with it on, and off. I've turned pocket mode off, rebooted, and then turned it back on. Nothing has worked. I don't have a case on it, I don't have a screen protector on it.
I have used several Android phone with the standard "Google internet browser" and I used to have access to my history which very useful!
But on the Atrix I can't find it.
I only have access to an option to erase the history...
How do I make the screen stay on when charging?

I have a question I just recently got a new Electrify and some how the screen swipe lock has gotten diabled.The only way I can have the swipe lock work is if I set up the security lock with a pattern or pin. I dont want the security lock as a option I just want the swipe lock to keep me from accidently pushing buttons on the phone.
View 15 Replies View RelatedI have already went to a uscc repair shop and reflashed my android os keeping my data. It seems to do this again. Phone first works fine then black screen with green led indicating a reboot. I had to do a cold boot on my way to the uscc store just to get to the android os and backup my stuff. I want to get by with this phone until the Electrify M is available in November. I do have insurance, I asked about replacing the device and there will be a $50.00 charge. I am trying to work around of this by keeping it working and useable and not restarting and stuck on a startup screen. Ohh btw the boot screen it is the motorola logo solid.
