When I am in a call, frequently the screen switches over to the dial-pad and starts dialing random numbers. Almost always when this happens, it cuts off the person I was talking to.

I have to either use screen unlock to turn it back on or hit on other buttons to bring it back on and receive a call. When the phone doesn't have a good signal or is trying to pick between wifi & cellular, my Turbo lags & temporarily freezes. I just have to wait a good 30 seconds or so for it to free up. This happens constantly. It's gotten much worse lately.

She says she has not changed any settings and my D3 has never done this. Don't see any new apps installed and the phone has been rebooted.
View 1 Replies View RelatedMy phone locked up/screen went black during a phonecall yesterday. It was at night. So, it was dark where I was. I tried to access the screen. It would produce a faint light, but would not let me access the screen, phone or any apps. I was talking on a bluetooth headset at the time. Normally at the end of a call, I could hang up the phone by pushing a button on my headset. That wouldn't work either. The only way I could hang up the phone was to pull the battery.
how to diagnose the problem or stop it from happening again? Or, is this just a BSOD (black screen of death where phone locks up and requires a battery pull) that happened while I was in a phone call?
Since I've updated my phone, my screen refuses to turn on during a call, which is beyond frustrating. One, when someone texts me, I'll hear the notification while on the call , but I will have to wait until the other person ends the call for my screen to turn back on and I can continue from there.

Then, when the proximity sensor was triggered when you removed the phone from your face, the screen would light-up, the phone screen woudl be present, and you would simply end the call. Now, when I remove the phone from my face I find the lock-screen, so I must first unlock it before I can end the call. I have searched for a settings to fix this and cannot locate what I need

View 2 Replies View RelatedI just traded in an iPhone 4 so I'm just learning the Motorola system. I usually set my display to go off after 1 minute to save the battery. On the iPhone the screen will stay on during a phone call. On my RAZR M the display goes dark after 1 minute and I can't figure out how to re-light it. Hitting the power button ends the call. Is there a way to keep the screen on other than setting the time delay to 10 minutes?

System version is 64.1.22.A953.Retail.en.GB No problem for the first few days but since then the screen switches off randomly (that new CRT-style shutdown, very cute). I can be viewing Google Maps, or using the camera, or browsing the web...doesn't seem to be a single trigger. The screen turns off and if I switch it back on quickly it will switch off again; if I wait a few seconds and switch on then it stops freaking out and the screen stays on.I've been using Cloudskipper and WinAmp with the lockscreen features enabled (since the stock music player on Milestone2 doesn't show up on the lockscreen). Could these be the culprits - is there something unstable in 2.3's lock-screen?Screen timeout and security timeout are set to 60 minutes.
View 2 Replies View RelatedIdeally, any time I make or receive a call I'd like for the screen to be automatically turned off as if I always immediately hit the "screen on/off" button once the call was active.
To describe in more detail: I want the screen to turn off independent of how close it is to my ear. If I want the screen on, I want to have to hit the "screen on" button. This would prevent me from ever accidentally hitting screen buttons when I position the phone on my collar during calls as opposed to holding it against my head.
I downloaded it yesterday and tried to use it twice and both times I had to do a factory reset to get things working again. Really a shame as I was looking forward to accessing my Synology diskserver from my phone. Other than that - LOVE the Turbo. have not had any problems with it since I got it last November. Even traded in my wife's second gen Moto-X that seemed to have all kinds of problems for a 2nd Turbo for her. How to get DS File working in Turbo?

I want to say what I notice is when I'm getting the ring back while waiting for someone to pick up is the "only" time I hear it. The audio in calls seems to be ok. It's sounds like a weak signal or interference. As far as I know (though I use my phone more for data than voice).I haven't noticed anything horrible as far as reception/call audio in calls, aside from when calling my mom, but I think that's her (she's famous for leaning on the mic or mumbling and trailing off). I noticed this yesterday when I was leaving a voice mail message, that when I pressed the End Call "button" nothing seemed to happen. I was still connected to the call. I pressed a little harder for a little longer, and still I was connected. I had to turn the phone completely off to disconnect the call. It happened again today when I was leaving another message. Then I called my brother and talked to him for a minute, and I think the call only disconnected when he hung up, not when I pressed End Call.

I wait couple of more seconds and then the screen comes back and I continue using it normally. It is happening alot now , do you think it is a software problem or not ?Does the cover that came with the blackberry curve has to do with it ? Like a magnetic thing or something ?
View 4 Replies View RelatedI have a iPhone 6 (32gb) OS version 8.1.1 and a Jabra BCE-BT350 bluetooth ear piece. For the last month or two every time I make a call using my bluetooth it rings once on my bluetooth then automatically switches over to my iPhone speaker (not loud speaker, just regular). I have to get my iPhone and manually select my bluetooth device as the speaker, which defeats the safety feature of using a bluetooth. I've had this bluetooth for a while now and never had this issue until recently. Not sure its an issue with iPhone 6, OS 8, settings or Jabra.

My Photon automatically defaults to the dial screen when I press the call button from the home screen. It used to display the last tab used or recent calls if I had missed one. I have scanned through all of the options and can't seem to find an option to change this.
