Motorola Electrify :: Battery Dying Fast Electrify

Iam a Uscc agent and I have a customer with the electrify and their phone is dying within a couple of hours and only sending a couple of text messages and making one phone call I have given a battery swap and checked the phone for any bad apps but there were no additional applications installed and settings do not seem out of place and compared it to mine that I have abd everything matches and mine lasts me an entire day of heavy use. I am just wondering if there is anything else that could be draining the battery or a way to fix it?

Does anybody know how I keep all of my past appointments on the Electrify? I check my google calendar which is syncing fine and see all of my past appointements, however they are gone from the phone. Additionally, even though my google calendar is scheduled out for the entire year, my phone calendar stops at December 15th, 2012.

All my stuff gone. Music pictures etc. All i did today was hook up to tv hdmi cable to watch a video and somehow it wipped my external sd card. Really pissed anybody know why this happened?

It seems that some cellular associates are telling customers that the Electrify is 4g ready and will be able to be updated,when US Cellular launches 4g. The general consensus is that this cannot be possible.

Anybody have an easy way to convert the video I shoot on my Electrify to some readable format on the computer? I've tranferred the files to both Mac and PC and neither have worked. I almost thought it was because I turned on the encryption, but I haven't had problems with photos, and I don't know why video would be different. Didn't have this problem with my old phone

Testing the multi touch functionality of my phone, to my dismay, shows acknowledgement of two points of contact. Needless to say, the piano app that I use.( for jotting down quick ideas, I am a music director at my church and a songwriter) is nearly unusable because piano often uses more than two fingers. I know that the hacking community has been able to enable up to 8 points if multitouch. Is this going to be enabled for this phone? I would hate to get rid of it since I love everything else about it, and have no problems at all with any functionality. ( aside from that whole pesky multitouch thing).

I can delete individual emails from my inbox. However, when I go to Trash folder there is no method to delete the Trash contents. Searching the manual gives zero information. Searching online has not been much more productive. The methods I've seen in independent forums don't work for me.

I powered off and restarted my Electrify this morning. It had run on battery for about ten hours and the battery level on Circle Battery Widget said 84% - which is pretty normal. When it came back on, Circle said 96% and the standard notification bar battery icon showed totally full, which is absolutely not normal! I plugged in the charger and it was up to "100%" and stopped charging within a few minutes, not nearly as long as a normal morning charge would take.This was the second power cycle I've done since installing the 2.3.5 update. After the first one (about two weeks after the update!), my WidgetLocker lock screen showed up, but after I unlocked it I got the standard lockscreen and had to unlock that, too. The developer had already found this problem which was introduced by the 2.3.5 update, and had a fix ready. Neither of us could figure out why the problem hadn't shown up on my very first boot of the 2.3.5 version.
I have seen some reports here that the update recalibrated the battery level indications, but there is no mention of that in the official changelog. What I'm wondering is if the changes from the update might somehow be appearing one at a time for me? It sure looks like this morning's restart found a new set of battery levels.Is that why I see people suggesting we should do a battery pull after the update? I didn't see that as part of the official instructions, and I doubt typical OTA customers would do it.(I did verify that I had 1080 video immediately after the update, and I had to uninstall and re-install the Flash 11 update to get it to work with Dolphin HD, so at least some parts of the update appeared after the very first boot.)I see lots of procedures for recalibrating the battery levels, but they all require a rooted phone. Is there some official procedure for us non-rooted peopleTW, the reason I'm paranoid about battery level is that the phone came with "Nighttime saver" mode on by default. While this seems like a good thing, it is disastrous if you use SugarSync - it causes SugarSync to hold wakelocks and wifilocks for more than half of the "saver" time period, and totally trashes your battery overnight. So a little over a year now I had my LG G3. Its been about a week of not a bit more that I've noticed this. I still have the same apps that I've had before. I deleted all the new ones I installed. I charge it all night before bed. When I wake up its at 100% I can leave it there and it goes down to 90% in like 30 minutes. So of course I tried to restart the phone.
I've been charging the phone more then 4 times a day, that's how fast it has been dying. It gets super super super hot at the stop of the camera, and then of course my phone goes really slow. But it gets so hot you burn yourself. I seriously can't think of another way of why it is dying so fast. I've never had a phone problem like thos before. I've tried installing apps, to clean stuff won't work.

random restarts - the first month i had my electrify, it would only restart itself once a week or so. now within the last couple of weeks its jumped up to around 5 times a day. i kept track of variables as the restarts happened, and it does it at any battery level and during anything im doing, such as text, pandora, Internet, in-call. my first guess is that is in app that constantly runs in the background, and i was wondering if any more experianced users could tell me where and what to look for.

Recently purchased the Electrify a few days ago. Overall much better than my Desire.I have is anyone know why we can not dig into what is causing "Awake" time? Previously on my Desire I could see what was causig this (was running CM 7.1)I've checked most apps I know like to do things in the background but haven't found any smoking guns.Secondly, does anyone in here use Hotmail and connect it so it does push email? Push is working fine but for whatever reason, email I read on my phone will not sync that I read it back to the server. Worked fine on my Desire. Not sure if its a Electrify or Hotmail issue.

I've downloaded a couple of different Ringtone apps, but for the life of me I cannot figure out how to actually get the ringtones I want onto my phone. All I can find on this is to go through the Music app, but that doesn't see any of the ringtones from the apps. Are there certain ringtone apps that work only with the Electrify? The apps themselves don't appear to have a way to download. All I've been able to do is listen to the sound. I had a Samsung Galaxy before this and it was so easy for me to get ringtones. I'm really stumped with the Electrify.

Typing a standard SMS, no attachements or symbols of any type, my SMS message converts to a MMS style message. For example I typed 105 characters including spaces & comma's, half way thru typing the message it displayed the message was converting to a MMS. How do I stop this from converting to a MMS?

I loaded a lot of photos from my computer onto my Electrify. All of them appear in the Gallery. The gallery is too large. Is there any way to remove a photo from the gallery without deleting it completely from the phone?

Ran into a new problem this morning, Took my electrify off the charger and turned it on and it started up but the display will not light up. The buttons at the bottom all light up and it looks like there is a back light that is on, (if you look at the screen from the side you can see like a back light) and the green indicator light is flashing.
