Jun 24, 2012Is there a quick fast way to launch the camera? My point is by the time you hit the power button, unlock the screen, launch the camera you have lost your shot.

HTC One M8 :: Motion Launch Gestures - How To Disable Camera App Launch From Volume Button
Feb 4, 2015I really love the Motion Launch gestures except the volume button that wakes the phone and launches the camera app.
Launching the camera app by mistake is annoying and it happens from time to time.
I tried Settings > Display & gestures > Motion Launch gestures but it looks like I'll have to disabled the whole thing.
Motorola Atrix 2 :: Doesn't Launch Camera App
Oct 16, 2011I bought the Atrix 2 today.Initial thoughts, the screen looks really nice, the soft rubber back feels better then the Atrix 1. I got the same internet speeds as the Atrix 1. Camera button convenient though pressing it doesnt launch camera app. On the Atrix 2 internal memory isnt accessible, even hooking up to pc you cant browse it, so you need a SD card to put music and videos, etc on it.HDMI mirroring worked as expected. I think the MHL mirroring from the SGS2 was better quality though.

Jun 15, 2012I bought this phone for my trip to Europe. Of course, I dropped it in the wet sand walking along the beach. I immediately took it apart and wiped it off. The battery label had turned pink so I know it got wet inside. When I got back to the house I ran to market and bought rice. I put the phone in the rice overnight. Everything on the phone worked except the earphone of the phone wouldn't work. I did a factory reset to se I have done three since now. Once I turn on the phone the camera app turns on by itself and then takes a picture with the flash.

Jan 22, 2012Iam a Uscc agent and I have a customer with the electrify and their phone is dying within a couple of hours and only sending a couple of text messages and making one phone call I have given a battery swap and checked the phone for any bad apps but there were no additional applications installed and settings do not seem out of place and compared it to mine that I have abd everything matches and mine lasts me an entire day of heavy use. Nov 17, 2011Testing the multi touch functionality of my phone, to my dismay, shows acknowledgement of two points of contact. Needless to say, the piano app that I use.( for jotting down quick ideas, I am a music director at my church and a songwriter) is nearly unusable because piano often uses more than two fingers. I know that the hacking community has been able to enable up to 8 points if multitouch. Is this going to be enabled for this phone? I would hate to get rid of it since I love everything else about it, and have no problems at all with any functionality. ( aside from that whole pesky multitouch thing).

The only app on my phone is named "Webtop Connector". When I launch it there is a red/white Motorola logo that comes up on the TV screen but nothing else happens. The phone displays No webtop web pages to resume. and No webtop bookmarks.
