Nokia :: 6500 Slide - Camera On Standby - When I Try To Launch The Camera
my 6500 slide shows me "Camera on standby" when i try to launch the camera. The message remains on the screen until i press exit and i am unable to use the camera.
I have searched the internet for a solution, tried software updating, resetting to factory settings etc but nothing seems to do the trick.
Is it possible to get the camera to work again without tampering with the hardware (As described here: http://repair-mobiles.com/6500-camera-operation-failed/) ?

I have just got a nokia 6500 slide, seems good phone am pleased. I use to have a n73 which had 2 cameras on, one on back like normal camera, and one on front so you could see yourself if taking a picture. Now this 6500 slide has a second camera on the front by the ear piece but i cant seem to activate it. From google searches i think its to do with video calling but can it be activated as a camera? Seems silly to have it there but only be able to use it for video calling? A waste?

Nokia :: 6500 Slide / Dropping Camera Picture As Wallpaper
I have the above phone and I have saved a number of pics that I have taken with another phone across to it. When I select the pic as the wallpaper it can stay there for 3, 4 days and then all of a sudden it will disappear.Any ideas why this is.Also I notice that there is an arrow pointing upwards on the screen which doesnt appear on another 6500 slide that I have.

Nokia :: 6500 Slide / Camera Freezing / Losing Data From Memory Card
had 6500 slide fone since Jan '08.lots of seperate problems, camera freezing, losing evrything on memory card, had to have it flashed, reverting back to Nokia ringtone (won't use any other tune) newest problem is all the icons have turned into a yellow ?anyone had this prob? coz spoke to Orange today and the guy hadn't heard of this problem b4.memory fills quickly and I have to delete stuff I really want to keep coz it doesn't register that I have a memory card in it sometimes.I am insured but they say, if it turns out the fone is faulty,I can only hav the same fone (which has turned out to be a heap of rubbish) have had Nokia's for years, this has been the worst one.

Nokia :: Camera Standby Mode
Start camera up and it displays Camera in Standby Mode. There is a Continue option available however when selected the standby mode message reappears. I have also noticed that the Image Sequence setting is ON and Im unable to change this setting.Have tried hard reset and have upgraded to latest 10.5 software. Have also spoken to Nokia support with no luck.

Nokia :: 6280 Camera Fault / Standby Mode
Noob question,, I have a 6280 where when selecting the camera mode it's saying "operation failed" and puts the camera in standby.Can anyone help with this, seems to be a common fault from looking on the web but there are no answers to be found.Is it a ribbon fault or does it need a hard reset or something. I'll take to a care point if need be but don't want to waste my time driving 30 miles if it's a quick fix.

I have only just purchased this 2nd hand phone, the camera is stuck in standby mode, I purchased it knowing this for a very good price. I have goggled this fault and although it appears to be a common fault I couldn't find any solutions for it, just a lot of blah blah blah from people that obviously had no idea what they where talking about - full of there own importance I think. So here I am at Nokia expecting to get the exact solution.

Even though I see the camera resolutions are similar and display parameters are similar (16M colours) in both phones... While taking the photos, there are a lot of grains while viewing on the 3600 slide screen - however after taking the photos, the quality seems to be fine in both cases. I just want to know what is the kind of setting to ensure that this grainy texture while taking the picture

Its unfortunate that i kept my NOKIA 5610 in my trouser and i dived into water i realised after 5 min,at tat time it resatarted once but i switched it off and i dried almost 2 days..problem i faced when i switched On: My Camera is not working ,whenever i switch On the camera its telling its in STANDBY MODE.Am not able to use both still and video camera .if i try to play already recorded video its playing only sound...

Motorola Atrix 2 :: Doesn't Launch Camera App
I bought the Atrix 2 today.Initial thoughts, the screen looks really nice, the soft rubber back feels better then the Atrix 1. I got the same internet speeds as the Atrix 1. Camera button convenient though pressing it doesnt launch camera app. On the Atrix 2 internal memory isnt accessible, even hooking up to pc you cant browse it, so you need a SD card to put music and videos, etc on it.HDMI mirroring worked as expected. I think the MHL mirroring from the SGS2 was better quality though.
