After upgrading my Xperia Pro to ICS, my right to left slide on the unlock screen has been changed from Slide to Silent Mode to Slide to Camera. How can I revert this?

my 6500 slide shows me "Camera on standby" when i try to launch the camera. The message remains on the screen until i press exit and i am unable to use the camera.
I have searched the internet for a solution, tried software updating, resetting to factory settings etc but nothing seems to do the trick.
Is it possible to get the camera to work again without tampering with the hardware (As described here: http://repair-mobiles.com/6500-camera-operation-failed/) ?
I tape on the icon but the camera does not open.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI hate that the "slide screen" has been cut in half in order to allow for a camera option that lies about its capabilities. It's bad enough, but why does the waste of space lead you to believe that you can slide up or down for the camera, when you can only slide up??? Put it in another corner!

Since upgrading to 5.0 I've had this weird issue with the lock screen. When I turn my screen on before I even get a chance to unlock the phone the camera is up. Well not the camera but the camera loading screen is up. It gets stuck like that until I shut the screen off. It doesn't happen if I have a pattern lock or a pin luck. But I just want the slide to unlock fair.

When I slide to open the keyboard it dosent respond. The backlits in the keyboard are not glowing and the auto rotation is also not working when I slide the keyboard.

View 4 Replies View RelatedMy Xperia Mini Pro has a fault with the keyboard - when I slide it out it activates, ie the background light comes on but then it goes out. Sometimes it stays on a for a few seconds whilst fully open but then goes off. Nothing physical has happened to the phone and it doesn't seem to be a loose connection or anything. I've tried updating the software but that didn't help.

I tried to find a highlight setting I would have disactivated by mistake but there is no highlight set up. At this point, i'm not sure if it's a software or hardware problem, or if the phone just doesn't have highlight function.

It hasn't been damaged and I haven't rooted it or done anything out of the ordinary with it. It's only 6 months old.

Did a factory reset which didnt solve the problem. Decided to upgrade to android 2.1 and now none of the keys on the slide out keyboard work. Tried to reinstall android 2.1 and still doesnt work. Also tried the repair bit on pc companion.

And i have to take out the battery and insert again for it to function properly. I am in Pakistan so i cant take it to any Sony franchise.. Latest android 2.1 on phone, have tried repairing this and using service / app killers. It is not a dirty screen as often once you have missed the call you can unlock the screen easily.

View 3 Replies View RelatedWhen I am not using and not sliding out my keyboard sometimes it gets automatically to the horizontal or when I slide out my keyboard, the screen gets not horizontal. At worst case it lacks between horizontal and vertical mode.
But when I am locking the phone with not slided out keyboard, sometimes it automatically unlocks the screen because the phone thinks that I slided out my keyboard, and normally when you slide out your keyboard at locked mode and don't have any code or password it unlocks the screen.
How do I remove the camera icon next to the "slide to unlock" bar on my iPhone 3 locked screen? It's a camera with 2 horizontal lines above and below the icon. I don't know why it started appearing. It didn't use to be there.

Ok, so I'm trying to work out how the silent modes work on my Z3. I'm failing.
So it seems you can press the volume key and by clicking the 'bell' icon I can scroll through 3 different modes: Loud, Vibrate and Silent.
Seems simple enough, only none of these modes silence apps or games at all.
I just want to put my phone on silence/vibrate and know that even apps and games will be silent too.
I thought I could put into vibrate mode and slide the media volume down to zero and it would rememeber it... then putting back into loud mode would make media slider go back to normal volume?... Nope, I have to change it back to loud mode and remember to slide the media volume back to normal...
It was 5 weeks old and developed a screen issue, went back to repair centre, came back fixed.....All good.....Well no.Now, when the silent icon on the drop down curtain says silent, its not, when you select to change this from the long press of the power on/off button (It gives you a turn device off option, deactivate/activate data, Airplane mode and Silent off and on)The turn on silent mode actually does the opposite?
