I check my google calendar which is syncing fine and see all of my past appointements, however they are gone from the phone. Jan 22, 2012Iam a Uscc agent and I have a customer with the electrify and their phone is dying within a couple of hours and only sending a couple of text messages and making one phone call I have given a battery swap and checked the phone for any bad apps but there were no additional applications installed and settings do not seem out of place and compared it to mine that I have abd everything matches and mine lasts me an entire day of heavy use. I am just wondering if there is anything else that could be draining the battery or a way to fix it?

Jun 3, 2012Previously when I connected my phone to my computer via USB, I would get a Motorola screen on my desktop inviting me to sync my music, photos, etc. I would be offered the choice to sync using Windows Media Player or iTunes. That screen has stopped appearing when I connect via USB. What happened to it? I uninstalled and reinstalled Motocast, no luck there.I have found this Motorola sync program pretty creaky compared to iTunes. Would I be happier using another program altogether (Winamp? something like that?) to manage my music, podcasts, etc?

Nov 29, 2011Just got my Electrify Friday, and so far I have dropped just about every call I have made with it. The screen doesn't turn off during calls and I am either pushing every button and trying to conference in the Moon, or I hang up.
I've turned on and off the pocket mode, I've rebooted with it on, and off. I've turned pocket mode off, rebooted, and then turned it back on. Nothing has worked. I don't have a case on it, I don't have a screen protector on it.

I have a question I just recently got a new Electrify and some how the screen swipe lock has gotten diabled.The only way I can have the swipe lock work is if I set up the security lock with a pattern or pin. I dont want the security lock as a option I just want the swipe lock to keep me from accidently pushing buttons on the phone.

Oct 20, 2012I have already went to a uscc repair shop and reflashed my android os keeping my data. It seems to do this again. Phone first works fine then black screen with green led indicating a reboot. I had to do a cold boot on my way to the uscc store just to get to the android os and backup my stuff. I want to get by with this phone until the Electrify M is available in November. I do have insurance, I asked about replacing the device and there will be a $50.00 charge. I am trying to work around of this by keeping it working and useable and not restarting and stuck on a startup screen. Ohh btw the boot screen it is the motorola logo solid.

Nov 17, 2011Testing the multi touch functionality of my phone, to my dismay, shows acknowledgement of two points of contact. Needless to say, the piano app that I use.( for jotting down quick ideas, I am a music director at my church and a songwriter) is nearly unusable because piano often uses more than two fingers. I know that the hacking community has been able to enable up to 8 points if multitouch. Is this going to be enabled for this phone? I would hate to get rid of it since I love everything else about it, and have no problems at all with any functionality. ( aside from that whole pesky multitouch thing).

Oct 15, 2012I've had my Electrify since the beginning of the year, and I recently started having trouble with the alarm clock. I will set it for 7:00 a.m., it will show up on the screen at 7 like normal, but the sound does not play. Then, when I wake up late for work, I have a notification saying that the alarm was silenced after 30 minutes.Like all other issues, I remove the battery and restart the phone, then it works fine. However, I really don't want to test my alarm just to make sure that it will work every morning.

Oct 14, 2015So one thing I do miss from my Note 4 was the ability to clip screenshots. You could just take out the S Pen and it would take a screenshot and you could crop it and draw on it, etc.
Then you could easily share it and it didn't save it to your device.
Back when I had the LG G2 it had similar functionality, but it was via a built in app that was easily accessed from the Notification tray.
Is there a Play Store app that would offer similar functionality. Ideally I could swipe down on the screen, and access an app. The app then would allow me to crop or draw on the pic and send it.
When I look for them in the Play Store they seem to be more focused on screen recording or something.
