View 7 Replies View Relatedother smart phones (IPhone) have the ability to send a screen shot to your computer so you can easily manage/move widgets and shortcuts. How can you do it with a Bionic?
View 2 Replies View RelatedTaking a screen shot requires holding the power and volume down buttons for a few seconds. Couldn't it be done by just pressing them? Also, it should take the screen shot when the buttons are released. As it is now, everytime I force a reboot, I also take a screen shot.
View 2 Replies View RelatedMy Defy+ only lasts for 2 days, even without actually using it (only standby and 2G network). The screen is always off. This is nowhere near the 384h as advertised. probably need to take it back to the shop but I wanted to ask if it can be fixed easily.
View 4 Replies View RelatedSo one thing I do miss from my Note 4 was the ability to clip screenshots. You could just take out the S Pen and it would take a screenshot and you could crop it and draw on it, etc.
Then you could easily share it and it didn't save it to your device.
Back when I had the LG G2 it had similar functionality, but it was via a built in app that was easily accessed from the Notification tray.
Is there a Play Store app that would offer similar functionality. Ideally I could swipe down on the screen, and access an app. The app then would allow me to crop or draw on the pic and send it.
When I look for them in the Play Store they seem to be more focused on screen recording or something.
Any idea what is causing this? and how to get this fixed?

View 1 Replies View RelatedMy screen becomes unresponsive at times even when I am not running anything, then I have to press the screen lock switch to get it back running. I tried factory reset and do not run any task killer apps, I have faced this issue with both Eclair and Froyo.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI've noticed for some time now that the screen of my Defy gets really sluggish, even non-responsive, when the charger cable is plugged in.
I can't even answer calls because of that. I haven't upgraded the OS to 2.2 yet.
The touch screen is blocked several times it doesn't care any stop or on/off buttons it's necessary to take out the battery.
View 1 Replies View RelatedMy defy screen just lights up then goes off after about 10 seconds, as if it is waking up to recieve a message/txt/call but then realises nothing incoming and goes back to sleep?
View 1 Replies View RelatedTotally stock Defy, upgraded to 2.2 and on its 2nd ear speaker. While in the browser the phone froze compleatly, so after waiting a while I pulled the battery, and on restarting it went straight to a bootloader screen. Then when i connect to the PC it, just changes the last line to Transfer Mode OK.I have tried the Start button and Volume rocker switch, but this seems to do nothing. Please tell my "Life proof" phone isn't dead before my 2 year contract is up!? I have tried googling, but all the help I can find, seems to be for people who are rooting their Devices, I would just like to state that is not what I was, or am trying to do.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI am trying to update my phone defy to Android 2.2. I have installed the Mororola Software Update but when I start the program it just opens as a blank white screen, I am guessing that it is not supposed to do that? Windows XP SP3 if that helps
I have tried uninstalling everything and re installing it all again, opening the software when the phone is connected already and connecting the phone once the software is running. When I close the software and the phone is connected the phone restarts.
when i turn my phone on, the display screen stops working. also the touch feature has stopped working, i can receive calls, but not make any calls as the home screen doesn't respond at all. the model is motorola defy plus.
View 3 Replies View RelatedMy new DEFY+ has got a strange problem. When on the original charger the touch-screen is nearly not working.Even pickin-up the phone is impossible.
View 1 Replies View RelatedWhy is my Home Screen still the same after hard reset? the position of the widgets and stuff.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI just recently got this phone. There is some dust under the screen and behind the camera lens.
View 6 Replies View RelatedFrom the first day I began using my DEFY (about 2 months ago) I have experienced a great deal of unresponsiveness with my touchscreen. Generally, when the phone goes into Locked/ Sleep mode I will attempt to unlock it and the screen will be unresponsive.Sometimes I'll be able to unlock it and then it will be unresponsive to touch. Most of the time, pressing the Sleep button and re-unlocking it will solve the problem, TEMPORARILY.
This is a frequent occurance and has gotten to the point where it significantly impacts my ability to use the phone effectively.Especially when I receive an incoming call that I am unable to answer because the screen does not respond.Motorola experts, would you recommend sending the phone in for warranty service? Are there any firmware upgrades I need to address this?
My Defy has an odd problem whereby every so often I am not able to move apps around the home screen, or add new ones. If I click and hold on an existing app icon, or an app in the drawer, then I get the vibration as normal and I can drag the app around the screen but:I never get the green highlight showing new places where I can put the icon, andI can't drag to another page of the home screen: the side bars never turn green to let me flip to the next page.I also can't resize widgets like the clock or weather when it gets in this state. The only way I've found to clear this fault is to reboot the phone, which is a bit of a pain.
View 1 Replies View Related'bog standard' defy's screen didn't activate when I was called, it rang but the screen didn't react to tapping or swiping, I was able to answer the call by pressing the on off button (seems to have woken the phone up) but then no swiping was required the call was directly active!?This has only happened a couple of times, I do have a screen foil on, but this has a cut out where the sensor is for the 'up to ear detection'.
