Aug 18, 2014Basically chrome as you all know came uninstalled on my device, meaning that without root, I cant uninstall it. In chrome, If I navigate to the chrome history page, there is a button at the bottom which says "Clear Browsing Data...". If I click on that and tick all the checkboxes, upon clicking clean, it appears to work. chrome://cache is empty.
However, if I then navigate back to history, all my websites are still listed, the history hasn't been removed. I have tried uninstalling the updates and it happens both in V35 &V36 of the chrome browser. The only way I have found to remove the history is to go to the app info in the settings app and click clear cache.

Jun 12, 2011on my Flipout I cannot seem to be able to clear the browser history, i.e.:
1. I browse to a blog page.
2. select Google from bookmarks.
3. clear history from browser while on the Google page pressing the upper right corner icon.
4. open browser settings, clear history and cache.
5. press the back key and I'm back to the blog page.If I reboot the phone, the history is effectively cleared.

Oct 5, 2011When I try to clear the browser history the program crashes. I have tried a couple of apps from the Market but neither of them have worked.
I have tried, unsuccessfully, to locate the history cache in the filing system.
P.S. I can delete history links one at a time. Is it just that I have allowed the cache to get too large before trying to delete it - I'm not sure I have ever cleared it before!

Dec 10, 2011Could anyone tell me if they are getting the same.I have lost all my history on the portal apart from my first upload - yet I have 6 workouts on my motoactv !I try reconnect the device via my WiFi network then by plugging in the USB cable and selecting sync on the device each time, but it does not see any new (which are old) workouts. Back the the trusted device until then!

Aug 11, 2012I have just got a Curve 9320 for my 'tweenage' son and obviously wanted to set up some parental controls. However, it appears that the only setting there is on the phone is to completely block browser access, which somewhat defeats the object of getting him a contract that includes unlimited data. I have installed an app that can monitor phone usage, including logging websites visited - this works brilliantly on my Android phone but apparently the website tracker function won't work with Blackberrys. Is there any way of either restricting website access or tracking websites that he has visited (even though he may have already deleted browsing history)?

BB Bold 9700 :: BBM Message History Keeps Deleting
Jun 2, 2010Please could you help. I recently upgraded to a blackberry bold 9700.Since doing this, I have been experiencing problems accessing my BBM message history. On my old Blackberry curve, I could see all my bbm message history and I had a 1GB media card. Now I have a 2 GB media card, and when I ask for the history to be saved on the media card, it wipes all the history., If I set it to save on the device memory, then it saves the message for 2 days, then deletes it. Please could you tell me what to do in order to resolve this issue? I have tried battery pulls, deleting applications that I do not use, deleting all emails, deleting all sms. My current device memory is 95% free. I cannot work out what is goin gon and am desperate to be able to save my message history.

Jul 28, 2010My BBM history, depending on length of course, is deleting after 4-6 days of history. I have it set to save to my device, but have also tried media card and it does the same. I also have my SMS and MMS chat histories to save forever, and I went into the messages icon on the home screen where I read most of my BBMs and did the same; but I must be doing something wrong because my history is still disappearing!Can anybody help?

BB Bold :: 'Contacts' Call History Remains Empty
Sep 30, 2012Since a few weeks my incoming and outcoming calls are visible only in the general phone call history. If I ask to view the call history of a specific contact the activity is registered only until two weeks ago. Contacts with recent activity only have the call history empty. Also in the contacts' recent activity (at the bottom of the contact details) I find only messages ecc. but no recent call history, only calls of more than 2 weeks ago are in there.
