I have the atrix and after trying to close web page down the way forum suggest its still not closing down. The page where I booked a hotel room is still open on the widget. If I try to go back it says its possible to recharge my card. The widget still up on my home page. you click on it and the hotel browser pops right back up.

after reading the thread about apps running in the background i removed some i don't use, now periodically as im reading a website the whole browser wil just close and i go back to the 'desktop' if thats what its called.

View 8 Replies View Relatedi will be browsing / using apps / unlocking my phone and the screen will just crap out and turn itself off. a little red light seems to appear at the top of the phone, which i'm not sure what that means, but it keeps doing that. i've turned the phone on and off a few times this morning, taken the battery out and let it sit for a minute before putting it back in and rebooting and it still does it.
View 1 Replies View RelatedSo i uninstalled the few apps ive downloaded since the 2.3.4 update and still my phone randomly shuts off and sometimes it freezes. Ill go to make a call or scroll through the screens and for no reason the screen turns black and the only thing that i can do is pull down the notification bar... i have to turn it off and back on for it to work again. My husband has the same phone and his does the same thing since the update so i dont think its a app.

It doesn't respond when I pinch my fingers together to zoom out. This happens only with the browser. I can se some part of the webpages on the upper part of the screen and some on the lower part.But the middle is covered by that square.

Screen went blank then in the middle of browser session.
My Droid 2 can be on in my pocket with the battery saver enabled (screen off, but phone still on) and at any given time that I check it, I press the power button and find that it's off. I then have to remove the battery and put it back in and then turn the phone back on.
View 15 Replies View RelatedI have installed and reinstalled the Rhapsody app twice now. It continues to shut down in the middle of a music stream. Extremely annoying while on a run... has done this over a dozen times. I called Rhapsody the guy on the phone never even heard of the Photon. Love the phone.. but its been 5 days and the quirks are starting to show themselves and add up. Also hate that you cant enable background data from the message indicating it is turned off. Hate that. Also experiencing the silence when a call comes in or out.. have to reboot... ugh.. I really hope things simmer down. If I have to go back to the Epic I will shoot myself. Loved the phone, hated the battery life. Photon 10000x better

Starting just a few minutes ago, it started shutting down, rebooting, and before it's completely up (lock screen is shown, but 3G service indicator isn't shown yet or my weather bug notification at the top of the screen) it shuts down again and goes thru another boot cycle. It doesn't stay booted long enough to do anything, including a factory reset. Because of it's age, I doubt there is any warranty is there?

5.5.893 Lost connectivity. I could not get Wi-Fi or 4G. I have been doing restarts instead of battery pulls and that has been working until today. It totally locked up on the Power Off Shutting Down screen. I tried to force it off by pushing the power, up/down volume buttons and nothing happened. That may not be the correct procedure, I only find that to be a starting procedure after shutdown. I pulled the battery and it restarted fine. I also had missed a call while it was locked up because I had a voicemail after restart. I have been thinking of getting the RAZR only because it is slimmer. Am I comparing apples to oranges? What would I have to do if I couldn't pull the battery?

View 2 Replies View RelatedThe last few weeks my droid turbo has been acting up. The first time it shut down it showed 28% battery remaining, second time 33%, then again yesterday it shut down showing 73% then again showing 78%. Today it shut down again showing 78%.
I plug it in for ten minutes after each shutdown and it will work again and show that the batter level went up while charging.
