Motorola Atrix 2 :: Is Atrix Battery Compatible With Atrix 2
Sep 19, 2012
id like to buy one of those over 3000mah batteries for my atrix 2 , but where i live i can only find this batteries for the atrix 4g and im not sure if it works on the atrix 2.
Will the Lapdock (and other accessories for that matter) work for the new Atrix 2 coming? I've only used the Lapdock lightly and it will be a real shame if it and the other accessories I've purchased over the past year won't work with the 2nd gen Atrix.
My Motorola Atrix or Computer has a Problem install the ADB Interface so there for my phone wont connect to my Computer.I have a windows 7 32-bit operating system.I have tried installing Drivers Manualy, tried using the PDAnet Solution, tried unistalling all USB Ports, tried applications to help.
I recently had to get a replacement Atrix through AT&T after my original one shattered. I had insurance and AT&T provided me a refurbished one through their insurance program. My question is, will I still be able to get all future updates on this phone or is there something I need to do?
When I go to the market (either on pc or directly from my atrix), many apps are being listed as not compatible. For example, the new revision to Facebook, Skype, etc. It's not all apps, but many. I am able to go over to Amazon and install the same apps and versions, but I can't do it from the Market. I get the following message on the left hand side of the window.
Will the new Lapdock 100 be compatible with the Atrix 4G (not just the phones listed in the press release), since it is connected by a wire and not a dock now? Should be a simple fix/solution.
i have downloaded the flash player 10.3 from the market and installed, but some sites say that i have to install the player. i have followed those links to the adobe site and see where the atrix is listed as a phone to download and even a featured phone but when i try to download it says the download isn't compatible for my device? i can watch Internet videos but on some sites i cannot view the players.
I did the Jelly Bean update on my two month old Atrix HD yesterday. Then my apps started closing on their own and then the homescreen started doing the same thing. Tried to do a FDR and I have the little android guy on my screen now with what looks like a rotating atom in his belly and a blue progress bar below him. Been like this for several hours now and I even tried calling the Motorola people and I'm still where I was. Can anyone offer a solution before I take it back to where I bought it from to see if they will even replace it? I did the holding down the volume buttons simultaneously and then the power button, got the motorola logo and then goes right back to this annoying little android guy with the rotating atom in his belly.
Other android devices have the ability to synch with picassa to view their online albums am I missing something or is this a big whoops not included on Moto's part.
This isn't really a question but just my 2 cents on the battery life. From day one I haven't been impressed but after this last update seems battery is really being ate up. Phone didn't make it to noon today. Don't get me wrong I love this phone ICS, big screen, and features are great but I just can't live with being tethered to a power supply all day.
I'm looking at the schematica and I can't make out how I get this battery door to open. My phone is non-repsonsive. ican't turn it on and the troubleshooting guise said to remove the battery and put it back in. I can't figure out how to open up this device and get the battery out.
The built in app isn't specific as to what app is causing battery drain. Is there a good app to do so? It should also mention which app is waking the phone etc.
I recently (unintentionally) had my atrix battery drain out. Upon allowing a full recharge and powering it on, when i go to the Battery Manager, the Battery mode has nothing selected. When i click on any of the options it gives me the popup but the button never turns green.I am running latest version?
I need help getting my Motorola Atrix to charge up the battery. When I plug in the charger the following message pops up in a box, " /! Invalid Battery.Your device battery is invalid and cannot be charged.Replace the battery with an original Motorola battery."I have the original Motorola Atrix battery that it came with originally. Problem occured out of nowhere. I cleared data/cache, rebooted phone, flashed different roms, took out battery then put it back in, used RSD Lite to flash back to stock 4.1.83 Atrix via sbf file but nothing worked.
Just curious if anyone else has experienced this. When I have my phone 100% charged, I can watch a movie for about 2 hrs, and when I'm done, my batttery is like 50%. (While charging with the wall charger the whole time and screen brightness about 40%.)
Is there any way to silence that awful groaning/growling sound that occurs when the 15% and 5% battery levels are reached? I don't want to silence the whole phone, just that annoying sound. Even the ability to change it to something more pleasant would be an improvement. If Blur won't allow this, is there something in the Market that would accomplish the same thing?
Is there any way to step down to 3G or even 2G on a non-rooted Atrix phone running 4_1.8.3?
I found tools to get me to the screens to make the changes, but they do not stick. I am not ready to root my phone. 3G or 2G for vocie is plenty clear enough for me.
I know there are other ways to save battery power, but would like to step down a G or two.
Usually I unplug my phone in the morning. I use it for listening to music, a little bit of browsing and email. However lately it barely makes it until the evening. After approximately 12 hours the battery is almost dead and phone idle is the worst consumer by far (like 40-50%). Is that normal?
I've been searching online, but have not been able to find any way to get a replacment battery door. I emailed support a few days ago, but never got a response.
Has anyone else noticed wi-fi showing as being on thorughout the day. I have had it off for a couple of days now and in the battery usage screen I still see it reported as on most of the time. In addition it seems to be using as much as 10-15% of my battery even though I don't have it on.
Pretty obvious if I'm playing it, but this happens after I quit the game. Battery and Data Manager shows that Zombieville % power used increases, but when I start Advanced Task Manager or Android Asssistant, neither of them shows the Zombieville process running. When I look using Manage Apps, the Force Stop button is greyed out. The only way to stop it is to shut down my Atrix 2.
Last week or two my phone battery has been draining much faster. Also the phone gets very hot, bot not where the battery is but below the battery. Also last few weeks many apps have grown more and more sluggish. This phone is so problemattic. I have done two previous factory resets in last 12 months
I was wondering if there is a way to turn off the low battery red blinking light? uncheck notification doesn't do the trick for the low battery. optimally I would like to keep the blinking light for the e-mail...etc, and turn off for the low battery.
