View 9 RepliesJust a suggestions for Moto, auto-correct should not automatically correct proper nouns. It is impossible to have every name in any database, so if I capitalize a word, it should just leave it alone. I have typed so many things on fb and elsewhere only to see a name of a person or place coming up something ridiculous after I put it up.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI have had a lot of the challenges I have read about since the latest update: battery overheating, phone rebooting at random times, and most annoying- no more indicator light. Not even when charging.
View 9 Replies View RelatedEver since I initially charged my XOOM the battery indicator shows 100% full, never shows any discharge & just shuts down when the battery is flat with no warning, any ideas, still under warranty.
View 1 Replies View Relatedmine is not working. i know it is there but i have never seen it work.
View 15 Replies View RelatedThis seems to be a common occurrence, but I haven't been able to predict it yet. Sometimes, when I unplug my DX2 from the charger, the battery indicator continues to flash the little charging "lightning" symbol as if it is continuing to charge.
When I go to Setting-->Battery & data manager-->Battery usage it will show 98% for "Display" and nothing else listed. Also, even if the phone has been unplugged for an hour, if the charging indicator is still showing in the notification bar, the battery usage will show that it has been unplugged for 0 seconds.
I wonder if this impacts what level of charge the phone is saying it's at. In other words, if it says it has a 50% charge, is that about right or could it be 70% or 30%?
id like to buy one of those over 3000mah batteries for my atrix 2 , but where i live i can only find this batteries for the atrix 4g and im not sure if it works on the atrix 2.
View 7 Replies View RelatedI have a lapdock 100 with a Motorola Photon phone. It was working good for a while and today, it just won't turn on. It won't even charge the phone. The battery indicator light/button won't even blink or anything. I tried switching outlets and it won't charge the lapdock.

Whenever I do a battery pull my battery indication after reinsertion reads 0% and shows the battery as red. My battery indicator before the battery pull will read anywhere from 80% to 50% but after the battery pull the indicator changes to read zero and is shown in red. If I don't charge the phone it will die even though prior to the battery pull the charge was fine at 80% or so...
I'm pulling the battery because of memory shortages. I HAVE replaced the battery and I still get the same problem. Pulling the battery after this happens changes nothing. I've pulled the battery numerous times afterwards and I never get the battery indicator to read what it did before the battery pull. I don't dare pull the battery if I'm not near my charger as the phone will die in a matter of minutes...
Since yesterday all of a sudden my battery started draining like crazy, 100% to 40% in 2 hours. Battery manager shows com.motorola.service.main taking 60% battery.what is this process and why it is taking too much of battery?
View 3 Replies View RelatedThis isn't really a question but just my 2 cents on the battery life. From day one I haven't been impressed but after this last update seems battery is really being ate up. Phone didn't make it to noon today. Don't get me wrong I love this phone ICS, big screen, and features are great but I just can't live with being tethered to a power supply all day.
View 10 Replies View RelatedI'm looking at the schematica and I can't make out how I get this battery door to open. My phone is non-repsonsive. ican't turn it on and the troubleshooting guise said to remove the battery and put it back in. I can't figure out how to open up this device and get the battery out.
View 4 Replies View RelatedThe built in app isn't specific as to what app is causing battery drain. Is there a good app to do so? It should also mention which app is waking the phone etc.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI recently (unintentionally) had my atrix battery drain out. Upon allowing a full recharge and powering it on, when i go to the Battery Manager, the Battery mode has nothing selected. When i click on any of the options it gives me the popup but the button never turns green.I am running latest version?
View 8 Replies View RelatedI need help getting my Motorola Atrix to charge up the battery. When I plug in the charger the following message pops up in a box, " /! Invalid Battery.Your device battery is invalid and cannot be charged.Replace the battery with an original Motorola battery."I have the original Motorola Atrix battery that it came with originally. Problem occured out of nowhere. I cleared data/cache, rebooted phone, flashed different roms, took out battery then put it back in, used RSD Lite to flash back to stock 4.1.83 Atrix via sbf file but nothing worked.
View 3 Replies View RelatedSo has there been a fix yet for the awful battery life since Gingerbread? I am still so fed up with my less than a day battery life.
View 2 Replies View RelatedJust curious if anyone else has experienced this. When I have my phone 100% charged, I can watch a movie for about 2 hrs, and when I'm done, my batttery is like 50%. (While charging with the wall charger the whole time and screen brightness about 40%.)
View 2 Replies View RelatedIs there any way to silence that awful groaning/growling sound that occurs when the 15% and 5% battery levels are reached? I don't want to silence the whole phone, just that annoying sound. Even the ability to change it to something more pleasant would be an improvement. If Blur won't allow this, is there something in the Market that would accomplish the same thing?

View 7 Replies View RelatedIs there any way to step down to 3G or even 2G on a non-rooted Atrix phone running 4_1.8.3?
I found tools to get me to the screens to make the changes, but they do not stick. I am not ready to root my phone. 3G or 2G for vocie is plenty clear enough for me.
I know there are other ways to save battery power, but would like to step down a G or two.
Usually I unplug my phone in the morning. I use it for listening to music, a little bit of browsing and email. However lately it barely makes it until the evening. After approximately 12 hours the battery is almost dead and phone idle is the worst consumer by far (like 40-50%). Is that normal?
View 10 Replies View RelatedI've been searching online, but have not been able to find any way to get a replacment battery door. I emailed support a few days ago, but never got a response.
View 6 Replies View RelatedHas anyone else noticed wi-fi showing as being on thorughout the day. I have had it off for a couple of days now and in the battery usage screen I still see it reported as on most of the time. In addition it seems to be using as much as 10-15% of my battery even though I don't have it on.
View 7 Replies View RelatedPretty obvious if I'm playing it, but this happens after I quit the game. Battery and Data Manager shows that Zombieville % power used increases, but when I start Advanced Task Manager or Android Asssistant, neither of them shows the Zombieville process running. When I look using Manage Apps, the Force Stop button is greyed out. The only way to stop it is to shut down my Atrix 2.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI recently used a bad battery in my phone, which ran down to 5% very rapidly, and then worked forever on that 5%.
Unfortunately, since then my other two (good quality) batteries also deplete very quickly... so I think the battery indicator has become inaccurate.
How can you delete the battery stats file on the Atrix?
Last week or two my phone battery has been draining much faster. Also the phone gets very hot, bot not where the battery is but below the battery. Also last few weeks many apps have grown more and more sluggish. This phone is so problemattic. I have done two previous factory resets in last 12 months
View 15 Replies View RelatedI was wondering if there is a way to turn off the low battery red blinking light? uncheck notification doesn't do the trick for the low battery. optimally I would like to keep the blinking light for the e-mail...etc, and turn off for the low battery.
View 1 Replies View RelatedThe BW8X (SNN5897A) battery was recently released for the Atrix 2. I purchased the same part number which was listed for the Droid Bionic.
View 15 Replies View Relatedprior to the recent ota i had experienced many random reboots, usually when watching Internet video or listening to music while reading news app. i thought ota was supposed to fix some problems with reboots when phone was overloaded but since ota i am still experiencing some random reboots and warm battery under the same conditions as previosusly.
View 15 Replies View RelatedI've had my Atrix HD for a couple of months, and am generally quite happy with it. The biggest problem I'm having with it is how fast the battery drains when I'm not connected to WIFI. Most of the time I am on WIFI either at work or home. When on WIFI the battery lasts 12 hours or more easily with reasonable use. However, if I'm on the road or out somewhere not connected to WIFI, the battery will drain very quick. For example, yesterday I unplugged my phone at about noon and was at home all day. At 9pm it still had 60% charge. I then left home for the evening, and by midnight the phone was dead. I didn't even make any calls, only checked an address on Google Maps. I did notice the phone was pretty warm during that time.
I've tried turning off WIFI and Bluetooth when I'm out, it doesn't help. It doesn't seem to matter if the phone is on an LTE network or not, as far as I can tell. I had an Atrix 4G previous to this, and never noticed a difference in battery consumption whether I was connected to WIFI or 4G, it seemed pretty consistant.
Lately I've noticed that I've been missing a lot of calls and texts, which I finally realized was from the phone not producing sounds. The only way I can get the speaker to work is to either remove the battery cover, or to apply pressure to the bottom of the cover while it is on (or pressing on the speaker grille) so I'm assuming it's some sort of physical connection issue. I don't understand why it would work with the battery cover off though if that was the case, so would a new battery cover fix everything? Or am I stuck with a vibrate-only phone until my next upgrade?
