My Motorola Atrix or Computer has a Problem install the ADB Interface so there for my phone wont connect to my Computer.I have a windows 7 32-bit operating system.I have tried installing Drivers Manualy, tried using the PDAnet Solution, tried unistalling all USB Ports, tried applications to help.
View 1 RepliesAs an update, I got my phone to quite boot looping by wiping system, cache, and data. I then reinstalled 2.3.6 via computer. This has fixed everything except my wifi. I unistalled logcat and then found highlighted in red that my wifi drivers were not functioning correctly. This does annoy me but I can still use my phone!
View 11 Replies View RelatedI can't seem to get my phone to communicate with Moto Cast USB. I use Zumocast for wireless, but I wanted to use Moto Cast to sync my music and videos over USB. When I plug the USB in everything starts up automatically. A screen pops up and tells me its preparing my device, then another screen pops up telling me to wait while it loads content. However, this second screen has a large yellow triangle with an exclamation in it and lists things to try if you are having connection issues. I have tried every USB option I have on the phone, it seems to force the connection back to USB mass storage, so I assume that is where it needs to be.

After the GB update, my computer (either of them, both running windows 7 64bit, one professional, one home edition) don't recognize the device at all. I have Moto Media Link installed, and I've tried reinstalling the drivers software and such, but whenever I plug the phone in it just charged, I get no notification like I used to that I was plugged in. In the past, the phone beeped and asked me to choose what kind of connection I wanted. I get no such prompt now. The phone is not set to debugging mode either.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI sometimes use whatsapp to chat to friends, but typing long sessions get tiresome quickly, so i want to control the phone from my laptop if possible.i installed droid vnc but as soon as i try to connect, the service stops. I wrote the author to see if i can get a fix.So i thought of another solution. Maybe i can put a bluetooth dongle in the laptop and somehow install a virtual keyboard in the computer so the phone can see it as a bt keyboard. I have seen a software for this but on linux only and i haven't been able to find a windows solution.

I have searched for a way to back up contacts to the computer but all I've found is how to back them up to an SD card.
(I understand that if they are in google contacts, I'm safe, and my phone has that, but the other Atrix in our home has many of the contacts saved as a Motorola contact.) That Atrix also does not have an SD card!
What is up with ATT releasing ICS 4.0, It is out now but no notification to download. with todays technology this should be released as quick as a notification that your bill is ready. But as always if it is something the customer wants it drags out but if it is to benefit ATT it is out like a flash.

I notice now that the map stored to my phones internal memory rather than to my SD card - I don't recall the app asking me where to store the map.
Must I change a phone setting to accomplish this going forward? I found this in settings under Windows Media Sync:
Settings / SD card and phonestorage / Storage location - then I am presented the opiton of choosing internal phone storage or SD card.
But I still wouldn't consider a GPS map to be "Windows Media" in need of a sync (?)

I touch the screen to install a free app, but the "accept and download" button does nothing when I touch it. However, I am able to purchase apps without any problem. My wife is having the same issue with her phone. Neither of us have installed any new apps lately, and I have tried an external hard reset with no success. This is incredibly annoying.

i have downloaded the flash player 10.3 from the market and installed, but some sites say that i have to install the player. i have followed those links to the adobe site and see where the atrix is listed as a phone to download and even a featured phone but when i try to download it says the download isn't compatible for my device? i can watch Internet videos but on some sites i cannot view the players.

View 9 Replies View RelatedMy phone prompted me to upgrade to 4.1.83 and when I said ok, there is a notification icon saying "Download will start when connected to a WiFi network". So I connected to a WiFi network, the download did not start. Gave it some time, switched WiFi on and off a couple of times, powered off/on the phone a couple of times, still do not see it starting to download. I also tried to download some apps from android market place (on wifi) works fine, but the software update never starts. Or Is there a way to manually get the 4.1.83 update to update from 4.1.57 and load it to the phone?

View 3 Replies View RelatedI did the Jelly Bean update on my two month old Atrix HD yesterday. Then my apps started closing on their own and then the homescreen started doing the same thing. Tried to do a FDR and I have the little android guy on my screen now with what looks like a rotating atom in his belly and a blue progress bar below him. Been like this for several hours now and I even tried calling the Motorola people and I'm still where I was. Can anyone offer a solution before I take it back to where I bought it from to see if they will even replace it? I did the holding down the volume buttons simultaneously and then the power button, got the motorola logo and then goes right back to this annoying little android guy with the rotating atom in his belly.

View 5 Replies View RelatedLast night I bought two CDs on line. i downloaded them to my computer and plugged in my phone to download to the phone. Media link started up and downloaded every CD on the computer before I could stop it. (I had selected only the new CD's in media link) I had to go into my music and delete everything that was duplicated. Then I discovered that my playlists were all empty. I had gone though all of my music and put all songs in playlists. Now I had to do it again!! I thought I was all fixed up and discovered this morning that all 1,290 photos from my computer were loaded onto my phone as well. DO NOT leave media link on your computer. I'm removing it when I get home and I'll start doing the old copy/paste routine. Motorola should send warnings about Media Link to all customers.

I know there is GET HELP, Drivers, and a Motorola driver page for USB and Charging drivers. MotoCast is installed (and updated) and provided the necessary USB and Charging drivers. I know there is a Motorola program called MotoHelper 5.4.0. I have used these resources but they have not solved the problem with bluetooth peripheral device drivers.
