My Droid 2 can be on in my pocket with the battery saver enabled (screen off, but phone still on) and at any given time that I check it, I press the power button and find that it's off. I then have to remove the battery and put it back in and then turn the phone back on.

My iphone5 has been shutting down for no reason, or at leas no one I know of. I've tried resetting it but ir doesn't does anything.
When I put it to charge, it shows in 20mins that is 100% charged, but in 1 hour without using it, the charge goes to 60%, then the battery starts working apparently normal. But it keeps shutting down at any time, without me doing something.

And every time I try to send a message, it keeps saying "Unfortunately, messaging has stopped," and takes me back to the messaging screen where I can see all the messages I have. The text I tried to send then says its still sending and I have to try two or three times before it will work. I deleted nearly all of my apps, turned my phone off and on again, and deleted nearly all of my messages. It just now started doing this and is beyond frustrating. I do not know what to do. I couldn't find any other people with this same problem. What do I do?
View 1 Replies View RelatedThe first time it happened I was in a meeting, picked up my phone to check for messages and the phone was off. Power button would not turn the phone on. I had to take the battery out and back in again for the phone to turn on, battery was at 65%. It happened another time since then and the only fix was to take the battery out.It's not that the screen goes black like other posts. The phone shuts down.Did I get a bad phone? Should I take it back to Verizon? The only apps that I have downloaded are Astro, BatteryLife, Beautiful Widgets, Handcent, Daily News

I'd love to see a list of corrections and updates.I hope I may be incorrect, but the false LED indicator (which goes on and on upon phone reboot) has not been corrected.The LED will flash (without any apparent reason, when the screen is off) until an e-mail or text comes in and essentially resets the LED. It then flashes until the text or e-mail has been viewed.

It was ringing from the earpiece speaker for no reason. No text, email, call, Nothing... The only way to get it to stop was to hold down the power and volume keys and do a reboot.

I will watch as my data connection goes from 4g to 3g to nothing as i am standing in the same spotI am just wondering if anyone else is having the same issue? View 7 Replies View RelatedThis happens when I'm using apps that have a large percentage of white screen space (Google Books, browser between page loads, etc), or at least that's the only time I've noticed it.The whites on the screen are usually a cool white, but sometimes the entire white area of the screen will abruptly shift to a pinker hue and then back after several seconds. The first few times this happened I wondered if it was some kind of response to ambient light, like the auto dimming feature. However, I can't force it to happen, even by tilting/moving the phone or covering the light sensor right after it happens.
Does it sounds like an indication of a malfunctioning screen and something I should talk to Verizon about replacing? It's not a problem, just puzzling, but I just purchased the phone about two weeks ago so if this is a sign of a defect I want to fix it before it does cause problems.
This has been very random. did it in my pocket, out of my pocket, on the charger and off. The phone is not overly hot. warm only when on the charger or in my pocket. This morning I have rebooted it several times. (I hold the power button for 10 seconds.)
View 2 Replies View Related5.5.893 Lost connectivity. I could not get Wi-Fi or 4G. I have been doing restarts instead of battery pulls and that has been working until today. It totally locked up on the Power Off Shutting Down screen. I tried to force it off by pushing the power, up/down volume buttons and nothing happened. That may not be the correct procedure, I only find that to be a starting procedure after shutdown. I pulled the battery and it restarted fine. I also had missed a call while it was locked up because I had a voicemail after restart. I have been thinking of getting the RAZR only because it is slimmer. Am I comparing apples to oranges? What would I have to do if I couldn't pull the battery?
View 7 Replies View RelatedThe last few weeks my droid turbo has been acting up. The first time it shut down it showed 28% battery remaining, second time 33%, then again yesterday it shut down showing 73% then again showing 78%. Today it shut down again showing 78%.
I plug it in for ten minutes after each shutdown and it will work again and show that the batter level went up while charging.
Is it just me or does my X flash green for no reason and not flash when it should? That little green light is VERY important and I had become quite used to living for it

I have auto-sync turned off for all Google apps.This happens even on WiFi. GPS, Bluetooth turned off as well. There's no missed call or unread text message. View 3 Replies View Relatedi will be browsing / using apps / unlocking my phone and the screen will just crap out and turn itself off. a little red light seems to appear at the top of the phone, which i'm not sure what that means, but it keeps doing that. i've turned the phone on and off a few times this morning, taken the battery out and let it sit for a minute before putting it back in and rebooting and it still does it.

I have the atrix and after trying to close web page down the way forum suggest its still not closing down. The page where I booked a hotel room is still open on the widget. If I try to go back it says its possible to recharge my card. The widget still up on my home page. you click on it and the hotel browser pops right back up.

View 8 Replies View RelatedI have installed and reinstalled the Rhapsody app twice now. It continues to shut down in the middle of a music stream. Extremely annoying while on a run... has done this over a dozen times. I called Rhapsody the guy on the phone never even heard of the Photon. Love the phone.. but its been 5 days and the quirks are starting to show themselves and add up. Also hate that you cant enable background data from the message indicating it is turned off. Hate that. Also experiencing the silence when a call comes in or out.. have to reboot... ugh.. I really hope things simmer down. If I have to go back to the Epic I will shoot myself. Loved the phone, hated the battery life. Photon 10000x better
View 3 Replies View RelatedSo i uninstalled the few apps ive downloaded since the 2.3.4 update and still my phone randomly shuts off and sometimes it freezes. Ill go to make a call or scroll through the screens and for no reason the screen turns black and the only thing that i can do is pull down the notification bar... i have to turn it off and back on for it to work again. My husband has the same phone and his does the same thing since the update so i dont think its a app.
