been wondering if anyone has been all of a sudden getting all kinds of force closes for no reason at all then freezes up so bad you can't turn off for 20 min and clock freezes in time

Are there any files or something I can flash that will allow me to try and format everything and start over? When the errors pop up I try to recreate the issue and one out of 5 times I am able to do so. I have tried battery pulls and several factory resets/wiping everything. View 8 Replies View RelatedI was having a issue with the Slacker app that came preinstalled on my Bionic. The app will freeze for about 5-10 seconds and then I have to force close it. I did try clearing the data and that did not work. I removed the updates for the app and that seems to have taken care of it. The app started acting funny after the .902 update and eventually became unusable until I did the above.

Also the pinch/zoon works fine on the internet but differently when on photos that i have taken. You cannot pinch, to zoom you have to drag your finger up and it vibrates when you touch the screen and a white streak comes up on the pic while you are draging your finger, visa verse to zoom out.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI've had my phone since April and has recently started to experience a lot of problems with the handset. I'm best mentioning that my technical know-how is very limited in terms of phones, but I've accepted the fact I'm going to have to run a factory reset on my phone. So the problems I'm experiencing:- All of a sudden, apps start crashing one after the other. So much so that I can't even turn the phone off properly and just have to hold the power button down until it goes off itself.- Sometimes it just freezes, and when it does, it rapidly drains the battery.- Other times it just randomly decides to turn itself off (this has happened during the night resulting in me sleeping in for work because my alarm has failed to go off!)- When apps have crashed and I've had to turn it on and off again, all information stored (ie. texts, photos, Twitter feed) after the 16th October is gone!I've even went on Kies Air to start transferring photos, videos, etc. to my laptop, but even that keeps crashing, meaning it constantly disconnects from the laptop. I cleared out a lot of old apps I don't use anymore, but they reappear when I turn it back on, resetting back to pre-16th October like I mentioned.

I had not added any files to my Xoom yet but while I started playing some of the music files that came with the Xoom, the player force closed while I was browsing the music files. It does not close while playing music but only while browsing the music that came with the Xoom. I then added music to the music folder from my PC and it still force closes while browsing my music files. This happends all the time after I play a few music files. I have the music player 3.0 version. A reboot does not help, it does it every time I use the player. Has anyone had this problem? Any suggestions are welcome. If I install another music player app. will it recognize my music already in my Xoom? And any recommendations on another player? I'm tired of the force closing of the Music player that came with the Xoom.

I can download and install the Pro Key which I bought from the Market with no issues. I have tried the Factory Reset and I still get same issue.

My phone takes forever when I touch something to open it to open. I have to repeatedly touch the same icon until it opens. Sometimes I have to restart my phone just to get it to open. And my app close out for no reason at all and i have to keep reopening them.

It often shutsdown when the battery is about 25-30% left. Sometimes it tells me to restore with iTunes, without any reason. Sometimes when I start the phone the language is set back to default english instead of italian. The internet APN deletes itself with no reason. These are the main problems. What should I do?
View 1 Replies View RelatedThe apps, always starting with the Market App, displays error message to force close within 10 minutes of turning it on. I only had a few apps installed (from the Android Market Place) which I have uninstalled, but it's still doing it. The longer you leave the Xoom on, the more apps it "needs" to force close. And, it won't save updates or some apps after a restart so I have to download everything again. Kind of a pain with Angry Birds .
Will I need to do the dreaded memory wipe and lose everything?
